Is against the rules to advertise your twitter/tumblr in your sig like I have?

What's the max avatar size?
It's 250 x 250 for VIP and staff, but I don't remember what it is for regular members. If you go to your settings and click on "Edit Avatar", it will say above the box where you upload your avatar.
