NOTE: World Championship Wrestling was indeed bought out, however, it was not bought by Shane McMahon. WCW is 100% property of Vincent Kennedy McMahon. On March 26th Vince teased the fans saying he could sign anybody he wanted to a contract, names like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan & Bill Goldberg were mentioned. But towards the end of the promo he announced he wouldn't do a damn thing with the company, and as of that moment, World Championship Wrestling was dead and buried!

WRESTLEMANIA X-SEVEN RECAP

Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho © versus William Regal

Backstory
William Regal defeated Al Snow to become the WWF Commissioner one night in March. Al Snow had been campaigning to become the WWF Commissioner for quite a few weeks, and finally Vince McMahon gave into Snow’s request, and made a match. Al Snow versus William Regal for the title of WWF Commissioner. And yes, William Regal came out victorious. At the next event the new WWF Commissioner came out to welcome everyone to the Regal Regime. Unfortunately for him, he was “besmirched†and interrupted by Chris Jericho who simply told him to “Shut The Hell Up!†The next few shows Chris Jericho was booked in outrageous matches by the new Commissioner. A handicap match against The Right To Censor, a Tables Match against the Dudley Boyz, and a few other unfair contests. It wasn’t until Chris Jericho “Besmirched William Regal’s Tea†one night in late March that Regal snapped and made this contest at WrestleMania.

The Finish
Jericho had trouble doing it, because of his shoulder and Regal countered it and got the Regal Stretch on Jericho! Jericho had to gut it out and he got to the ropes to break the hold and the fans went nuts! Regal then gave Chris some knees to the head and then Jericho fired back with some knife edge chops! Jericho went off the ropes and Regal kicked him right in the shoulder as he came back. Jericho slammed Regal's head into the turnbuckle and then he gave him a bulldog off the ropes. Jericho then hooked Regal in a front face lock and he got him in a suplex and then he went for the lionsault and he got it on. Jericho pinned Regal for a three count.

Six Man Tag Team Match: The Acolytes and Tazz versus The Right to Censor

Backstory
Steven Richards was about to use a chair on Grandmaster Sexay during a episode of SD! Once night in late March. He was stopped by the current SD! Announcer, Tazz and put into the Tazzmission! Tazz explained himself at the booth saying he got sick and tired of the RTC. Tazz faced Richards in a match on RAW, but it was interrupted by The Rock. On the next SD! The RTC came out and booted Michael Cole from the booth to talk to Tazz. Steven Richards and Val Venis taunted him from the ring. Steven came out of the ring and told Tazz to keep out of their business then Tazz knocked Steven’s head against the Announcers table, then he put him in the Tazzmission. The RTC tried to beat him off of Richards but The Acolytes came out for the save! Tazz faced Val on RAW in a lumberjack match with The Acolytes and the RTC acting as Lumberjacks, Tazz won then their was a brawl. The RTC screwed The Acolytes out of a match on the final SD! Before WrestleMania and their was a huge brawl.

The Finish
Val made the tag to the Goodfather and the Goodfather knocked Tazz down with a shoulder block. The Goodfather then got Tazz in a back suplex and then he pinned Tazz for another two count. The Goodfather whipped Tazz out of the corner and he went for the move, formerly known as the Ho Train and he got it on! The Goodfather then went to the second rope and he came off with a Vader bomb, but Tazz rolled out of the way. Tazz got up and tagged in Bradshaw and Bradshaw gave The Goodfather a big boot to knock him down and then he whipped him off the ropes and gave him a back body drop. Bull got in the ring and Bradshaw took care of him as well as Val. Bradshaw gave Val a fall away slam and Faarooq got in the ring and the Acolytes gave Val a double team spine buster. Bull got back in the ring and Bradshaw perched Val on the ropes and he gave him a super back suplex! Bull and the Goodfather got a hold of Bradshaw and gave him a double team power bomb. Faarooq knocked Bull to the outside of the ring and then the Goodfather got ready to give Bradshaw the "Ho Train," but Bradshaw moved. Bradshaw gave The Goodfather the clothesline from hell and then a pin to get the win!

Hardcore Championship: Kane versus The Big Show versus Raven ©

Backstory
Raven beat The Big Show on a RAW in March thanks to Kane. Raven/Jericho fought the next week in a Hardcore Championship match ordered by Regal. The two fought back into Regal’s office and destroyed it. Then Regal accidentally nailed Regal with flowers and pinned him to retain the title. Regal was so angry he made this match at WrestleMania as a punishment. The rest of this storyline was just backstage attacks and etcetera. Kane/The Big Show were already feuding before this match as The Big Show was helping Triple H and Kane was helping The Undertaker.

The Finish
Kane then punched The Big Show a number of times as he leaned against the tron. The Big Show clotheslined Kane down to the ground and then he got ready to toss Raven off the stage! Kane kicked The Big Show, who had Raven over his head and then they fell through something and then Kane jumped off the stage with a leg drop and Kane hooked the leg and made the pin on The Big Show to win the WWF Hardcore Championship!

European Championship: Eddie Guerrero versus Test ©

Backstory
Eddie Guerrero wanted to continue the storyline with Chris Benoit however Regal didn’t think it was such a good idea so he gave him a European Championship shot instead. Guerrero was screwed out of the title by Chris Jericho. Regal had a strong hate for Jericho so on the next show Regal made this contest at WrestleMania so Guerrero could have his fair re-match. Guerrero guest refereed a match between Test and X-Pac the next week, and did everything in his power to screw Test out of the match, which he did. Eddie & Kurt Angle were defeated in a match against Test and Benoit on the SD! Before WrestleMania. And that’s about it.

The Finish
Test gave Eddie a big boot and then Dean came to the ring and jerked Test. Saturn gave Eddie the European Title and then Eddie hit Test with the belt while the referee was distracted by Dean Malenko and then he pinned him for a three count to get the win!

Singles Match: Kurt Angle versus Chris Benoit

Backstory
Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle were booked in a 6-Man tag match with William Regal. Their job was to basically weaken The Rock up. Kurt told Benoit backstage before the match to set him up for the ankle lock. Benoit wasn’t happy about having to “set Angle up†to do anything. At the end of the night they both locked in their finishers on The Rock only to be attacked by Steve Austin. On SmackDown! That very week they were booked to face The Rock in a handicap match. Towards the end Kurt Angle left Chris Benoit by himself in the ring with The Rock where he was put into the sharpshooter. Angle smiled and left his partner. The last RAW before WrestleMania came and Angle came out first thing and complained because he didn’t have a match at WrestleMania. Benoit came out and said he didn’t have a match either. The two insulted each other back and fourth then went at it. The match was booked.

The Finish
Kurt got up and the referee went down and then Chris Benoit got the Crippler Crossface on Kurt Angle and Kurt Angle tapped out! The referee slowly got up and Chris Benoit released the hold to check on the referee. Kurt then got the Olympic Slam on Chris Benoit and then he pinned Chris Benoit for a two count! Kurt Angle scoop slammed Chris Benoit and then he went to the top rope for the moonsault on Chris Benoit. Kurt got some of the moonsault as Chris Benoit was able to get his knees up into the gut of Kurt Angle. Chris Benoit then signaled for the finish and he went to the top rope and came off with the flying head butt on Kurt Angle! Chris Benoit then pinned Kurt Angle, but he was only able to get a two count. Chris went back to the German suplex and Kurt Angle gave Chris a low blow and then Chris took Kurt down to the mat and then Kurt rolled up Chris Benoit and he hooked the tights in a pin for a three count to get the win!

Women's Championship: Chyna versus Ivory ©

Backstory
Chyna was injured in 2000 by Ivory and Val Venis with a piledriver. She came back in early 2001 to face Ivory at the Royal Rumble only to re-injure her neck. One night in March Ivory came out with a cardboard cut out of Chyna and beat the hell out of it even ripping it’s head off then piledriving it into the mat. She was ultimately attacked by Chyna by surprise and the match was made. Chyna also attacked her again during a Bra and Panties match she had with Trish Stratus.

The Finish
Ivory then went to kick Chyna and Chyna caught her leg and held onto it and then she heaved Ivory into the corner. Chyna gave Ivory some forearms and referee Chad Patton started the 5 count. Chyna gave Ivory a body slam and then a clothesline. Chyna gave Ivory a back body drop and then she gave Ivory a power bomb in the middle of the ring! The fans went nuts and then Chyna got down on the mat and pinned Ivory for a two count as Chyna pulled Ivory off the mat. "That was a big mistake by Chyna. She had the title. She had her revenge and now she pulls Ivory up!" - Paul Heyman. Chyna then press slammed Ivory and then dropped down and pinned Ivory for a three count to win the Women's Title!

Street Fight: Shane McMahon versus Vince McMahon

Backstory
Shane McMahon was sickened by the treatment his mother, Linda McMahon was receiving and one night in March he came out and assaulted his father. The next week Shane came out to the ring with a contract he demanded his father sign for a match at WrestleMania X-Seven, Vince signed it and the match was made. Triple H attacked Shane McMahon that night, and then him and Vince McMahon tossed him into a limo and sent him to Greenwich until WrestleMania. Mick Foley also came out one night in March and said that in his contract with the WWF before he was fired it stated he had the right to referee any WrestleMania match he wanted, so he decided to referee this one, and Vince McMahon was not happy about it whatsoever.

The Finish
Vince then got Linda's wheel chair and rolled her to the ringside area. Vince picked Linda up out of the wheel chair and placed her on the apron and shoved her into the ring as she was motionless. This whole time, Shane was still down from going off the top rope through the announcer's table. Vine got in the ring and he sat Linda down in the chair in the corner. Vince then went back after Shane and he rolled Shane into the ring and then he tossed four trash cans into the ring. Vince then beat on Shane with the trash can and then he went over to Linda and told her to watch her son get some more. Vince continued to beat up on Shane McMahon with the trash can right in front of Linda. Vince told Linda that a third time is a charm and he got another trash can and got ready to hit Shane over the head with it, but Linda stood up and Vince turned around and Linda gave Vince a low blow! Mick Foley then got in the ring and beat up on Vince McMahon with some right hands! Mick backed Vince into the corner with some right hands and the fans just exploded in the arena! Mick stormed at Vince with a knee to the head and then Shane got up and picked the trash can up and placed it on Vince and then Shane went to the top rope from the opposite corner and he jumped at Vince with a drop kick and the trash can went right into Vine's face! Shane McMahon then pinned Vince McMahon for a three count to get the win!

Tag Team Championships: Edge and Christian versus The Dudley Boyz versus The Hardy Boyz

Backstory
Edge was out with a back injury so Christian had to go solo for a few weeks. When Edge returned they won the World Tag Team Championships on his first night back with the help of the debuting Rhyno. E&C sent Rhyno to the hotel as they continued to celebrate. Later that night The Dudley Boyz showed up and demanded they have a shot at the titles on that night because they were the number one contenders and it should have been Hardyz/Dudleyz that night not Hardyz/E&C they were granted their shot and they won the belts from E&C with the help of the debuting Spike Dudley. The match was booked at WrestleMania, it would be a TLC match. At one point in March Rhyno speared Spike Dudley through a table, the rest of this feud was basically just matches and attacks.

The Finish
Edge got the huge ladder in the ring and then Christian got in the ring to help him and D-Von and Christian climbed up and tried to get the belts, but Matt moved the ladder, leaving them hanging. D-Von fell down and Christian hung up and he eventually fell down. Jeff Hardy climbed up one of the four ladders set up in the ring and he walked the ladders and he fell, but he caught himself on the third, but fell down, and landed on his feet on the mat. Jeff then climbed up the ladder and tried to grab the belts, but he lost his balance and got stuck on the thing. Buh Buh took the ladder out from under Jeff's feet and then Edge climbed a ladder and speared Jeff Hardy right off the belts that were hanging! Buh Buh and Matt climbed up and Rhyno pushed them both down through the four tables that were set up earlier! Holy crap! Jesus Christ! D-Von then started to climb the ladder and Edge came up from behind. Rhyno helped Christian up and Christian got the belt to get the win!

Singles Match: The Undertaker versus Triple H

Backstory
Triple H came out and said he deserved to be in the Main Event at WrestleMania because he beat Austin at No Way Out and he proved he was the best. He said he’s beaten everyone and that’s when The Undertaker came out and talked down on him. The two brawled that night. Triple H attacked The Undertaker the next week knocking his motorcycle onto his leg then almost shattering his skull with a steel chair. Luckily Kane saved him. The next week The Undertaker waited for Triple H in the parking lot, Regal warned him not to mess with Triple H or he would have to do something he didn’t want to do. Taker told him to leave or he would do something he wanted to do to him. Regal left and Triple H showed up. Taker shattered Triple H’s limos windows and was quickly arrested. Stephanie had a restraining order and if Taker got within 25 feet of her he would be arrested. He was. The next week Taker wasn’t arrested but Kane almost threw Stephanie off of a balcony. The attacks continued for the next few weeks, on the last SD! Before WrestleMania Taker was locked up early in the night and later in the night Triple H destroyed The Undertaker’s motorcycle with his Sledgehammer.

The Finish
The Undertaker went for the Last Ride on Triple H, but Triple H brought the sledge hammer up for the ride with him, and Triple H nailed The Undertaker with it to get out of the Last Ride. Triple H then pinned the Undertaker, but he only got a two count! Triple H gave the Undertaker some right hands and he perched himself up in the corner and gave him some right hands and the Undertaker picked Triple H up and gave him the Last Ride! The Undertaker then pinned Triple H for a three count to get the win! 9 and 0 at Wrestlemania’s!

WWF Heavyweight Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin versus The Rock ©

Backstory
Stone Cold Steve Austin won the Royal Rumble and The Rock won the WWF Championship at No Way Out from Kurt Angle. The first night after No Way Out Stone Cold came out and told The Rock to “Stay Healthy†and The Rock told him to “Be Readyâ€. Nothing interesting happened for another week, Debra decided to quit as Lt. Commissioner and she wanted to go back to managing. Vince McMahon thought it was a good idea and he made her the Manager of The Rock. Stone Cold obviously wasn’t happy about this and The Rock wasn’t either, he said he didn’t need a manager, never has never will. At the end of the night Debra was cheering for The Rock in a tag team match (Austin was The Rock’s partner) and Austin didn’t like that one bit. Austin warned The Rock NOT to put his wife in harms way, on SD! The Rock was put against Hakishu and Rikishi promised to stink face Debra. At the end of the night he was about to give her the Stink Face but Austin came out and beat the crap out of him, Austin did a pose then looked up at the OvalTron, Debra was attending to a laid out Rock, and he wasn’t happy about that. The Rock was put against Kurt Angle the next week for the WWF Championship, Angle promised to not only snap The Rock’s angle but also snap Debra’s! The Rock won the match but at the end of the night Debra was put in the Ankle Lock! Stone Cold stormed out and beat up Kurt then nailed The Rock with a Stone Cold Stunner for putting his wife in danger. Debra was attending to The Rock as the show went off the air. The next few weeks were the same pretty much, Austin stunned The Rock once more and The Rock hit The Rock Bottom on Stone Cold a few times. Debra was relieved of her managerial services on The Rock during the SD! Before WrestleMania making the match just a one on one contest.

The Finish
Vince and Austin looked at each other, seemingly on the same page. Austin then took the steel chair and he rammed into the chest of The Rock. Austin beat the living hell out of The Rock with the steel chair and he has snapped! Austin then pinned The Rock for a three count to win World Wrestling Federation Championship for the fifth time!

The Aftermath
Vince McMahon shook hands and had a good old fashion beer bash right over the laid out body of The Rock. They were both on the top of the world. Austin hopped up on the turnbuckle to taunt the crowd then jumped down and he was immediately LAID OUT WITH A GIGANTIC SPEAR! It was none other than WCW’s own BILL GOLDBERG, another man slid into the ring as GOLDBERG PICKED AUSTIN UP INTO A JACKHAMMER! Vince McMahon stood their in total shock as he realized the man with Bill Goldberg was none other than ERIC BISCHOFF!

And with that, the WCW InVasion had Officially Begun!

This should be good. I missed the Invasion and this should be good, I am officially interested. It helped that you posted the Wrestlemania results, even if we already knew, just to give a slight backstory. I think this will be good, the roster is obviously good, as well as the champions. Hopefully this goes well and sticks around.

If you have time check out WWE-Reaching For The Top: ECW is posted.

RAW IS WAR
Preview
April 2nd, 2001

Just 24 hours off of WrestleMania, the biggest pay-per-view extravaganza the dust certainly hasn't settled between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. The controversial ending is sure to be the topic of the night with Steve Austin joining forces with the Chairman of the Board, Vince McMahon. Now the question on everyones mind is, Why Stone Cold? Why? Not to mention the brutal assult after the match by Bill Goldberg. What will Vince McMahon and Steve Austin’s thoughts be on that very surprising assault?

William Regal and Chris Jericho have had a heated rivalry for over a month now and it all culminated at WrestleMania. But it’s very doubtful the commissioner will give it up that easily, we’ll surely hear from both William Regal and Chris Jericho tonight!

The Right To Censor were defeated in every match they took part in last night at WrestleMania, Steven Richards has requested some microphone time this week on RAW. Could this mark the end of the Right to Censor?

Kurt Angle proved to be the better man by beating Chris Benoit, but not without grabbing the tights. Kurt Angle may have won, but he also cheated and Chris Benoit will definitely have something to say about the situation.

And both Triple H & The Undertaker are scheduled to be in the arena! Can one arena hold these two huge egos?

That and so much more, tonight on RAW IS WAR!

Confirmed Matches:

WWF Championship
