WWE Week on USA Network

[Troy]

During Raw, they announced that next week would be WWE Week on USA Network.

Monday night (December 17) will be a live three hour Raw featuring the Slammys.

Tuesday night (December 18) will be a Commercial Free Live Super Smackdown

Wednesday night (December 19) will be the tenth Tribute to the Troops show.

Thursday night (December 20), Big Show will appear on Burn Notice.
Friday night (December 21), CM Punk will host USA's broadcast of The Game Plan, starring The Rock.

That is one packed schedule. The thing that stands out most to me is a commercial free live Smackdown. I don't remember them doing a commercial free Smackdown before so it will be interesting to see the ratings for that. Hopefully the show doesn't have too much filler crap on it. Slammys are very hit and miss so I will just hope for the best.

The Tribute show must be coming on before or after Main Event as they do have a deal with ion assuming the network doesn't have a Xmas Movie that night as they do have a week of Xmas themes releases they have been advertising. But yeah USA loves wwe espically since the one who originally picked up raw in 93, Hammer, runs the network. If Royal Pains and Psych were in season, I wouldn't have been shocked to see WWE stars appear on their shows either as they do have a close relationship for crossovers with them.

Awesome. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy next week.

Hell, I've never seen The Game Plan but if Punk/Rock is happening at the Rumble, I may have to tune in to see what Punk has to say about The Rock.

Smackdown Live will be cool. The Production geniuses won't be able to add in the "canned" crowd pops when losers like Great Khali and Ezekiel Jackson come out and people sit on their hands from boredom or boo them to death.

Expect to see plenty of shots of the announce booth with tactically placed Subway sandwiches or buckets of KFC chicken.

Don't forget the sonic car hop girl that king sexually harrassed. Hope this live smackdown is better than the last 4 or 5

Tough schedule to keep up with, there is also two UFC cards sandwiched in this weekend.

Hate to be the guys who have to follow this shit for work.
