WWE/WCW War 2008

March 26, 2001. We have witnessed a moment that we thought we never saw. Mr, McMahon live on WCW Nitro and on a WCW Ring, addressing the fans
of that show because of his recent purchase of that company, WCW is now owned by it's former competition, the WWF.

But amidst the gloating and boasting of Mr. McMahon that he's gonna fire every single WCW employee next week on RAW
and how he's gonna make Ted Turner sign the contract at his extravaganza, Wrestlemania, his son, Shane McMahon,
appeared LIVE on NITRO, it received CHEERS and an ovation on NITRO, but back on RAW, they jeered Shane to death,
Shane then proceded to stare his father in the eye, saying "his father's ego has gotten the best of him", Mr. McMahon
is confused, Shane explained that there is no need of a contract signing on Wrestlemania, because the contract has been already signed.
Vince is surprised, Shane said, the name on the contract however, does say McMahon, Shane McMahon...

The crowd in Panama went crazy, then Shane coined the infamous line "Yes Dad, I now own W-C-W!"

As Vince is trying to comment, Goldberg, Sting, Ric Flair, Booker T, and Konnan appeared behind Vince, and then
attacked the WWF Chairman, with Goldberg spearing the Chairman, Booker T scissors kick beheading Vince, Ric Flair applyinh
his Figure Four, while Sting and Konnan is stomping away, Shane then said "See you at Wrestlemania, Dad"

WCW wrestlers in the back then celebrated the fact that Shane is now the owner of WCW, in the night which Sports-Entertainment
would never be the same again

But some setbacks delayed the initiation of "The Invasion" storyline, which prompted WWF to "revive" a WcW programming
called "WCW Battlezone" on TNN every Tuesdays.

WWF (NOW WWE) has not acknowledged the incident in Panama on live tv again. until lower ratings of WWE and declining
fan interest but increasing ratings on WCW Battlezone, prompted Vince to launch "The Invasion 2008",
