Yeah his feud with Corbin was the most boring, basic stuff. "I'm here to wrestle and I'll beat you tonight" what was the point

And I don't think he's done anything other than random matches every few weeks outside of that for an entire year, not to mention he disappeared from NXT for awhile before even making that main roster debut

Fwiw Meltzer also said he was surprised by the Von Wagner release until it was told to him that he and Xyon were considered "main roster talents" after being drafted last year as free agents despite never doing a single thing.

So basically this is cutting main roster talent they don't have plans for. Is Odyssey Jones still there? He was a free agent that never got used last year too

Yeah at the end of the day not every single wrestler is gonna have plans unfortunately. That’s just the way it is. Even if they are talented.
