When WWE returns to Mexico for their house show tour next month, they will be announcing October TV Tapings in Mexico City at Palacio de Los Deportes, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

Raw and Smackdown will both be taped during the October tour. The plan is to tape the shows in advance over a weekend, not air Raw live from Mexico City on Monday.
It will be the first broadcasts taped from Mexico, which has been a huge market for WWE, much to the chagrin of established Lucha Libre promotions CMLL and AAA.

It is about time they did this. It is a huge market for them and with the recent addition of Del Rio and Sin Cara this is the perfect time to do it.

This should become an annual thing like WWE do in England every year. Hopefully they will eventually do a taping in Australia.

With the interest in wrestling waining in the states, its a smart move to branch out like this. They did the same thing when WWF was dying in the 90s.

Yeah good move by the WWE. Mexico is a huge market and love wrestling down there. I remember when I went to Mexico on a trip there was a lucha libre show almost every day, so this is a good move by WWE.

Good idea by the WWE. Could really draw a lot of of revenue from this and no doubt they will be sold out. With this happening do you guys see Del Rio winning the World Title at Summerslam and carrying it to Mexico?
