WWE Television Ratings

Why wouldn't they? It's not as if they were nude, they were in bikini's which isn't exactly an uncommon occurrence for people on TV.

Husbands got sick of their women talking about how fake the women look and changed the channel.

Thats how Divas lose ratings.

LOL @ Sid, still can't draw. It's like the 90s all over again.

Kane/Punk/Bryan did well to retain so many viewers, normally there is a sharp drop off after the opening. Jericho's return drew really, really well. Show attacking Cena in the five minute over-run didn't get over so well.

Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown did a 1.82 (1.8) cable rating, with 2.63 million viewers. The numbers were down 9% and 11% from the previous week, which had seen a jump from the normal rating.

Not that good but still okay.

Last night's edition of WWE Raw drew a 3.2 cable rating and took in an average audience of 4.71 million viewers.

This week's show took in the same amount of viewers as last week's show, which finished with a 3.28 rating.

Nice rating once again, consistent and it's good that they're staying above the 3.0.

Be interesting to see how Smackdowns figures turn up, I didn't think Super Smackdown was advertised very well until Raw.

First time I even heard about it was last week's Raw, so then there was another Smackdown and another Raw to advertise it. Probably not a very good rating honestly.

The 7/3 "Great American Bash" Smackdown scored a 1.70 cable rating with 2,540,000 viewers.

Super Smackdown did reverse a downward trend for the live specials. The previous live special on April 10 averaged a dismal 2.24 million viewers and the February special averaged 2.33 million viewers.

More or less what I expected the show to do.

Considering a lot of folks were also without power in the states not too shabby I mean I didn't hear about it till the raw before. And it is good considering a lot of places do fireworks on the 3rd nothing to be ashamed of.

Last night's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw drew a 3.2 rating and 4,407,000 viewers. The individual hours did numbers of 3.11 and 3.22, respectively.

The show did virtually the same as last week's rating, although it dropped just a little in overall viewers as last week averaged 4.71 million viewers.

Good that they stayed the same as of late but the number went up in the second hour? That honestly surprises me. I guess that means WWE fans will watch no matter how bad the show people say it is. I wonder if it will drop next week after such a bad RAW. I doubt it. Especially since you have the MITB aftermath.

How half the audience didn't completely tune out after the first quarter, I'll never know.

The WWE "Universe" is interested in the WWE championship Triangle , thats why ratings didnt tank in the 2nd hour and people here say Bryan and Punk are not credible enough to be in main event .

The following is courtesy of PWTorch.com

ESPN's Home Run Derby has not affected WWE Raw ratings over the past couple of years. Many people feel that WWE was affected last night by it, but that does not seem to be the case.

This week's Raw rating was similar to last weeks, and only saw a 6 percent decrease from viewerships.

The following is a comparison of the past six episodes of Raw up against the annual Home Run Derby on ESPN:

7/9/2007: 3.4 rating with a total of 4.6 million viewers
7/14/2008: 3.2 rating with a total of 4.8 million viewers
7/13/2009: 3.6 rating with a total of 5.3 million viewers
7/12/2010 3.3 rating with a total of 4.8 million viewers
7/11/2011: 2.9 rating with a total of 4.4 million viewers
7/9/2012: 3.2 rating with a total of 4.4 million viewers

Nice sign but man the 2011 rating was awful. Shame WWE don't get 3.6's anymore, or even higher like attitude era ratings.
