I don't really see news worthy they should have done it a bit slower just started referring to them in that manner and then one day change the graphic on place then another and anotehr .

It's still a jobbers name anyway so it doesn't make much of a difference. Cesaro is not a 'cool' name by any stretch of the imagination. If anything he needs a complete name change. I can't imagine how rubbish it would sound if people began to shout Cesaro's name in the crowd. A wrestlers in-ring name does make a huge difference to how the audience perceives them.

Because it's an utterly pointless change and doesn't sound right after having a forename. It's like they decided because they just refer to him on commentary as Cesaro that they may aswell just go ahead with as his full name, the same way Cena or Bryan as just a name would be horrible. For what it's worth though, I read that they did the name change because Vince thought Antonio Cesaro didn't sound tough, whereas just Cesaro does.

Just seeing "Cesaro" on the graphic looks so weird. Batista is the comparison name here because they did the same thing but Batista sounds badass and just Cesaro sounds weird.

I think one name ring names can work well. Sheamus and Batista are two good examples. Its not like they just cut "Antonio" its just that he'll only be called Cesaro now. People still know that Batista's full name is Dave Batista but he is only called Batista. I think this is the same. We might get some references to his name being Antonio but Cesaro is all thats needed. Wrestlers are mostly only called by their last names in any aspect anyways.
