Yeah but Smark makes a good point Cwalker, the PPVs wouldn't be included in ESPN+ most likely, you'd have to purchase them separately like ESPN does for UFC PPVs
Oh fuck that. I don’t care enough about wrestling to pay $60 a month

This combined with I've grown up and can't justify $60. Back when WWE was really hot and I legit had to see their PPVs? Maybe. Cause I did it for years, but man not anymore. You just can't put the genie back in the bottle regardless. You expect 5-6 years saying PPV was including in the $10 price. You can't go back. I could maybe see a tier price where live PPV is in the $20 tier. I might be willing to pay that.

If they were to ever go back to the PPV format, I think the buy rates would suffer. Business isn’t what it was even 6 years ago prior to the network. You’re more likely to have one person buy the PPV and have a watch party. 20 people watching off one persons dime instead of all 20 buying it themselves.

Or streaming will become popular again. That’s what I was doing before the network came along.

Buy rates would be awful. Think December to Dismember numbers for everything but Mania and even Mania wouldn't pop like it used to.

December to Dismember would be considered a good buyrate if they tried going back to regular PPVs after doing the Network since 2014 :kawhi

PPV dead.....been saying that forever.

Also......these geeks online, and y'all actually have the balls to ask me why I get offended over being remotely compared to them.

Fans are the worse part of anything that's presented for the sole purpose of entertainment.....what is fan short for again? I'd like to be around sane people I don't know about anyone else.

Tbh it really wasn't, if you would have told me Goldberg won in a 3 minute squash I would have expected it to be more action-packed than that, Ziggler was better at SummerSlam

HELL IS NOT A MYTH
Our lord and savior Bill "Willy G" Goldberg demolished that incel Wyatt in three minutes to single handedly save WrestleMania and people are complaining... :smh Streets is done

If they ever go back to charging 60 bucks for PPV, I won't be watching many PPVs in the future. WM, Rumble, and SS at absolute most, and the only thing close to a definite in that list for me is WM, and even that show might depend on the strength of the card for me.

I really hope Vince doesn't do this. Not just for the sake of the fans missing out on PPVs and how much of a ripoff it'd be, but I think if Vince were to go this route it would really, really hurt the business much moreso than the current Network model ever could. I could easily see (and I think we all could) LOTS of fans passing on PPVs and just illegally streaming them online or going to a bar or house type place to watch. This would be a HUGE mistake if Vince does this, IMO.
