I have an update on Raw. I am passed half way done, and I am almost finished the Intercontinental Title Steel Cage match, which will probably be my best match. I will then have a Corporation promo as well as the main event, which will be announced during the show. This is even probably better than my Wrestlemania, and hopefully you think so as well. Remember, this will be my first ever fully full show, as Wrestlemania only had 4 full matches.

We come back from the break with a replay of the Corporation formation. They play funeral music when the assault on Finlay comes on screen.

We cut back to JR and The King, who speak in a sombre tone.

JR: Ladies and gentleman, last night was a truly horrendous night for a legend of this wrestling business, Dave Finlay. After it looked like Finlay and Vince had finally solved their differences, my old friends The Rock, Mick Foley and even Finlay’s partner Stone Cold Steve Austin viciously assaulted the helpless veteran.

King: We don’t have a clue if and when Finlay will come back. We wish Finlay a speedy recovery.

JR:
But the bigger story coming out of this is the re-formation of The Corporation. We will here from Vince McMahon right here tonight.

The camera raises up, where the Steel Cage looms. The lights then dim, and the Steel Cage descends. The crowd go wild, as we cut back to JR and The King.

JR: I guess we will have to wait for Vince McMahon though. The Intercontinental Title Steel Cage match is on now, and it promises to be truly brutal!

‘Animal’ hits to firstly a mixed reaction, but as ‘The Animal’ Batista emerges from backstage, he is met with massive heat. Batista doesn’t seem to care, as he looks up at the Steel Cage. As Batista is about to get in the ring via the door, the crowd start cheering massively, as Shelton Benjamin comes running in through the crowd, and starts ramming Batista’s head into the outside of the cage! The referees try to break it up, as Mickey Henson goes over and unlocks the door. Shelton and Batista eventually make it inside the cage, and this match has begun!

Match 3
Intercontinental Title
Steel Cage Match
Batista vs. Shelton Benjamin (c)

The two are still brawling, as they trade smashing each other’s heads into the steel structure. Shelton eventually dodges an attempt by Batista to ram Shelton’s head into the cage, and he starts drilling Batista with right hands to the face. Shelton then whips Batista off the ropes, and nails a drop toe hold into the ropes. Batista stays there in a 619 position, as Shelton quickly bounces off the ropes and nails a dropkick to the back of Batista, sensing Batista’s face into the steel! Batista gets off the ropes holding his face, as Shelton gives Batista a beautiful Superkick to the face! Batista doesn’t go down straight away, as Shelton then bounces off the ropes and attempts a clothesline, only for Batista to catch Benjamin in a Bear Hug position! Batista then places Benjamin on the floor, and gets him in a Toss position. Batista then goes on his back, attempting to catapult Benjamin into the cage, but the agile Benjamin holds on to the cage. Batista, who didn’t see Benjamin, turns around unexpectedly into a huge cross body block from half way up the cage! Shelton then raises his hands up in the air, as the crowd cheers him on.

Shelton then waits for Batista to get up, as Shelton grabs the former World Heavyweight Champion by his tights and his shoulder. Shelton then throws Batista shoulder first into the cage! Batista is then trapped between the ropes and the cage, as Shelton nails Batista with a version of a baseball slide, crashing Batista’s head and back into the cage. Shelton then lifts Batista up, and pulls him towards a corner. Shelton then smashes Batista’s head on the turnbuckle, and then places him against the cage again, albeit standing up this time. Shelton then bounces off and dives through the middle rope, using Batista as a shield before he hits the cage, giving Batista full impact from the shot! Batista then crumbles down to the floor, as Shelton drags him back into the centre of the ring. Shelton then lifts Batista back up, before running behind him and nailing a great Bulldog, sending Batista’s head into the canvas. Shelton doesn’t go for the cover, however. He instead heads up top, although while he is doing this, Batista gets up. When Shelton reaches the top, Batista greets him with a right hand, before climbing to the second rope himself. Batista then gets up top with Shelton, but not for long as Batista then lifts Benjamin up, all the way to the top of the cage. Batista then climbs up also, and locks Shelton in a suplex hold, going for a Superplex off the top of the cage! Batista manages to get Shelton up, but when he went to drop him down, Shelton REVERSED INTO A HUGE SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE!!!!! The two men are laid out on the canvas, as the fans are screaming ‘HOLY SHIT!’. We cut to a commercial break with the vision of Batista and Benjamin motionless on the mat.

*Commercial*

We come back from the commercial with Shelton whipping Batista off of the ropes once again, as both men have seemingly recovered from that massive Powerbomb from off the cage. When Batista returns to Shelton, Benjamin traps him in a T-Bone Suplex hold, only for Batista to elbow and power his way out, sending Shelton against the ropes. Shelton quickly sprints back at ‘Tista, but The Animal catches the All American into a semi Tombstone position. Batista then hits the champion with a beautiful Running Powerslam! Batista then goes for the first cover of the match. 1...2...T...Benjamin kicks out at 2, as Batista goes on the offensive once again. Batista then mounts on top of Shelton, smashing him with a flurry of rights and lefts. Batista then gets up, before dropping him with an elbow drop to the chest. Batista then lifts up Shelton, before very powerfully whipping Shelton into the cage head first! Batista then smirks, as he begins to stomp away at the multi time Intercontinental Champion. Batista then gets off of Shelton, before doing his old Evolution pose, which gets a mixed reaction from the crowd, before once again generating heat. Batista then starts screaming from inside the cage, saying that he would be the next Intercontinental Champion. While he is screaming out, Shelton manages to kip up, as the challenger Batista has no idea!

As Batista turns around, Shelton tries to nail him with a kick to the gut, although Batista manages to hold on to Shelton’s leg. Shelton, however, has a plan up his sleeve and nails Batista with an astonishing Dragon Whip to the face of Batista, knocking him down! Shelton then lifts up Batista and puts him into the corner where the cage door is, before going into the opposite corner. Shelton then charges at Batista and goes for a Monkey Flip, but Batista hangs on to Benjamin, showing a great amount of strength! Batista then walks out of the corner with Benjamin still in the Monkey Flip position, as Batista then lifts him up and nails a huge Batista Spinebuster! Batista then goes for the cover once again on Benjamin, and we may now have a new Intercontinental Champion! 1...2...Thre...NOOO! Shelton kicks out at the very last possible millisecond to continue holding on to his beloved title! Batista and the crowd are shocked, as a frustrated Batista gets Shelton back up, before slamming Benjamin’s head into the cage repeatedly, until Shelton is busted open on the 7th shot! Batista has a sadistic smile on his face. Batista then whips Benjamin off the ropes and nails another Spinebuster! Batista then goes over to the ropes and starts shaking them, as the crowd gives off deafening heat! Batista then gets Benjamin between his legs, before lifting him up onto his shoulders and dropping him down with a thunderous Batista Bomb! Batista then smirks, as he goes for the cover, and he and the crowd know it is over this time. 1...2...THE REF STOPS THE COUNT?! Batista look at the referee screaming, as he points to the ropes! Shelton’s foot are on the ropes! Batista is pissed off, and he quickly runs and spears the ref!! The crowd is shocked, as Batista is frustrated and fuming from the mouth as we go to another commercial break.

*Commercial*

When we come back from the break, Batista has mounted Benjamin in the corner, pounding away at the now very deep gash on Shelton’s head. The ref had been replaced during the break, and the injured referee was taken to the back. When Batista goes for what will be about the 20th punch, Benjamin ducks under Batista, so Batista is back first to Benjamin on the middle rope. Shelton then shows his agility, by quickly running up to the middle rope. Shelton starts clubbing away at the back of Batista, before lifting him back up to the top rope. Shelton then begins to slam Batista’s head against the cage, getting retribution for what happened before. When it looks like Batista would fall off, Shelton pulled him back up before getting him in a waist-lock on the top rope, before nailing a huge German Superplex! Benjamin somehow hooks his feet onto the ropes, so he is in a Tree of Woe position. Shelton then sits up, before turning around, as he begins to scale the ropes, holding on to the cage for balance. When Shelton gets to the middle of the ropes, he leaps off onto Batista with a massive 450 Splash from off the ropes! The crowd pop the move, as Shelton rolls around the mat grimacing while Batista now looks to be out of it. Shelton somehow manages to crawl over to where Batista lies unconscious, and drapes an arm on top of the sternum of Batista. 1...2...NO! This time Batista kicks out, as Shelton is shocked!

Shelton can’t believe what is happening, although he doesn’t start complaining to the ref like Batista did earlier. Shelton quickly goes over to Batista and lifts him up, but knocks him back down with a dropkick to the sternum. Shelton then waits for Batista to get up, before running at him and nailing his patented Running Inverted Bulldog! This one has got to be over now! Shelton climbs over for the cover, as the crowd chant along. 1...2... Batista pokes the referee in the eyes! Batista poked the referee in the eyes, causing the ref to stop counting! Shelton cannot believe what is happening, as he starts stomping away at Batista. Shelton then gets Batista in a semi Walls of Jericho position, much like Batista did earlier to Shelton. Unlike Batista earlier, Shelton actually succeeds in smashing Batista’s face into the solid steel. Shelton, however, doesn’t stop, and continually smashes Batista’s face into the steel! Batista then collapses on the floor 10 shots, and he lands in the middle of the ring. Shelton begins climbing the cage quickly, going into the corner, where the support poles are. Shelton is in half a mind, whether to climb over or to attack the prone Batista. Shelton then turns around, looking at Batista. Shelton then looks around impressively around the arena, before grasping his hands around the top of the cage’s structure. Shelton THEN FLIPS OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE WITH A SOMERSAULT SENTON, BUT BATISTA MOVED OUT OF THE WAY! Shelton hits the floor with immense force!

Batista then gets up, with a big smirk on his face. Batista then puts his foot over Benjamin, as Batista has surely won the title now! 1...2...Batista takes his foot off of Benjamin, breaking up the count! Batista shakes his finger, saying he is not done yet! Batista then lifts up a helpless Benjamin, and places him between his legs, looking for another Batista Bomb! Batista lifts up his arms, but as he is off guard, Benjamin flips him over onto his back and then flips over his legs, into a Jacknife Cover! 1...2...BATISTA MANAGES TO POWER OUT! As Batista gets up, we could see the shock on his face, as well as the relief that he didn’t lose to Benjamin 2 nights in a row after he countered the Batista Bomb into a cover. When Benjamin gets up, he charges at Batista, but Batista flapjacks Benjamin into the cage! A bloodied Batista smiles, as he then smashes the Benjamin’s face in with a huge Big Boot! Batista then bounces off the ropes and drops an elbow across the sternum of Shelton, before hitting the champion with another 5 elbows! Batista raises his arms once more as we go to yet another break, as the match reaches the 20 minute mark!

*Commercial*

Batista has Benjamin underneath the bottom rope against the cage face-first, and has his foot pressing against his back, causing Benjamin’s face to be grinding across the steel. Batista gets off, before bouncing off the ropes and kicking Benjamin in the back of the head, smashing Benjamin’s face into the steel once again. Batista then lifts up Benjamin once again, before bad mouthing him, and goes for a clothesline, only for Benjamin to duck under it, and nail a neckbreaker, sending both of them to the mat! The ref goes to the count of 7 before both men are able to get up, and begin trading punches to each other’s bloodied head’s. Shelton nailed a punch, and the crowd began to cheer, but as Batista replied with another punch, the crowd responded with boo’s. The two traded 5 blows each, but as Batista went for one more punch, Shelton held his arm up, blocking Batista’s punch. Shelton then began to take control, nailing with Batista with anything he had, punching and kicking away at his fierce foe. Benjamin then nailed Batista with a knee to the gut, and whipped him very powerfully into the corner turnbuckle. Shelton then ran at Batista and nailed his patented Stinger Splash! Batista then crouched over, as Benjamin then bounced off the ropes and went for a Springboard Bulldog, only for Batista to show off his strength once again and hold on to Benjamin! Batista then drops the Intercontinental Champion with a huge Sidewalk Slam!

Batista then puts his hand inside his boot for some reason, and then lifts up his hand, and the camera zooms in. Batista is holding brass knuckles! The crowd boo, as they all know that Steel Cage matches have no disqualifications! Batista then waits for Benjamin to get up, and when the champ does, Batista goes for a shot, but Benjamin low blows Batista! The crowd cheer as Benjamin snatches the knucks out of the challenger’s hand and smashes Batista in the face with them! The crowd cheer as Benjamin then climbs up to the top rope, and then nails a huge top rope double leg drop to Batista, one leg across his throat and one leg across his gut! Shelton then quickly lifts up Batista and nails a Northern Lights Suplex! Shelton then hooks the leg for the cover, and it looks like Batista is out of it! 1...2...NO! Batista manages to kick out once again, holding on to his dream of becoming the Intercontinental Champion for the first time! Shelton looks shocked, although the crowd didn’t really think the match would be over. Shelton then lifts up Batista and goes for a roundhouse kick to the face, but Batista ducked the kick and Benjamin’s knee smashed the cage! Benjamin falls onto the ground in agony, as it really looks like he has hurt himself! We cut to another commercial, with Shelton on the floor in pain.

*Commercial*

When we come back from what was hopefully the last commercial break, Batista has Benjamin on the floor, smashing his leg into the cage. Batista then tries to whip Shelton across the ropes, but Benjamin is unable to go across as he can’t support his weight on his leg. A frustrated Batista goes back to Shelton, but Shelton appeared to playing possum, and gets Batista in an inside cradle! 1...2...Batista manages to get a hold of the ropes! Benjamin is actually hurt still, as he gets up on one leg. Benjamin goes to kick ‘Tista with his good leg, but Batista holds on like earlier in the match. Benjamin then uses his injured leg to go for an enziguiri, but Batista manages to hold on, so Benjamin is now in a position similar to the first stage of the Rey Mysterio wheelbarrow bulldog. Batista then pulls Benjamin over towards the cage, and when he gets near enough, he slingshots Benjamin’s back in to the cage!

Benjamin is now where the entrance way is, as Batista begins to pound away at the now dried up gash on Shelton’s head. Shelton and Batista’s blood have stained the cage, and after the sickening shot where Batista sling shotted Benjamin’s back and head into the cage, it looked as though Benjamin had begun bleeding from the back of the head. Batista continued to bash Benjamin, as Benjamin then hit the mat out of fatigue. Batista stomping away at Benjamin, as Batista continued to try and keep Benjamin trapped in between the cage and the ropes. Batista then got on his knees and began choking Shelton against the cage, as Shelton gasped for air. After 30 seconds of choking, Batista finally let go, as he lifted Shelton up. Batista then went against the ropes opposite, as we remember this was where Batista was trapped earlier on in the match as Shelton attacked Batista. Batista then mouthed a word which looked a lot like ‘Revenge’, as Batista then bounced off the ropes and speared the boots off of Shelton!!! Everyone, including the competitors, was waiting for the thud into the cage, but it didn’t come! The competitors were on the floor! THE CAGE HAD BEEN RIPPED APART FROM THE FEROCITY OF THE SPEAR!!!! The ref rings the bell to signal the end of the match!

Winner: ???

‘Money’ hits to a very big pop, as Raw GM Shane O Mac came out onto the stage.

Shane: Can we please get a replay of what happened please?

We are show replay in slow motion, and we Benjamin and Batista’s feet hitting the floor at exactly the same time.

Shane: Well, I am sorry to say Shelton, but in a result of a tie in a title match, the title will have to be declared vacated!

Big Heat from the crowd

We are shown a shot of Shelton, who is shaking his head, wishing it was a dream.

Shane: I’m very sorry Shelton, but I do have good news. Since you technically never lost the title, you are still in the race. And I just saw what you two put on there, and it really impressed me, so Shelton, Batista, in the next few weeks, you 2 will compete, IN A BEST OF 5 SERIES!

The crowd give a very big pop, as we can see some relief on both of Batista’s and Shelton’s faces

‘Money’ hits once again to another pop, as we cut back over to JR and The King.

King: A Best of 5 Series?! This is great!

JR: But you have got to feel sorry the now former Intercontinental Champion King. Benjamin has lost the title without, well, losing the title!

King: Well JR, we have already heard from Shane McMahon, but next we will hear from Shane’s father. That’s right, the Chairman of the Board Vincent Kennedy McMahon will be out here!

JR And King, Vince will be out here next!

*Commercial*

When we come back from the break, we are shown another video of what happened in the fantastic Steel Cage match, as well as the post-match announcement.

JR: Before the break we had a shocking announcement regarding the Intercontinental Championship. It has now been vacated after a disputed finish in that incredible Steel Cage match!

King: But that’s not all JR. Batista and former champ Shelton Benjamin will fight it out in a Best of 5 Series!

JR: We could go on about this all night King, but it is time to move on. It is time for Vince McMahon to come to the ring!

‘No Chance’ hits to huge heat, easily the loudest of the night. Vince McMahon is accompanied by two of the other members of his Corporation and the World Tag Team Champions, The Rock N’ Sock Connection.

Vince: Hello, Brisbane!

The crowd give big heat for Vince.

Vince: You know, I don’t know what I was thinking when I had the idea of coming here, to this, to this DUMP!

The crowd give deafening heat.

Vince: Anyway, I have bigger things to talk about, like last night!

The crowd boo heavily, as they know he is talking about what happened to Finlay, as all 3 men in the ring smirk.

Vince: What happened last night, (he starts laughing) I could watch that all over again. How about we take a look.

We are shown the video that played earlier on in the night, with The Corporation re-formation and the Finlay assault.

Vince: Last night at Vengeance, my son of a bitch cousin Finlay was by god damn destroyed!

The crowd give immense heat.

Vince We crowned new tag team champions also, which is another great thing coming out of last night!

The crowd once again boo, as Vince gives the microphone to the Rock, as he takes his stance.

Rock: Finally, The Corporation has come back, to the W. W. E!

The crowd give huge heat, as they begin ‘Rocky Sucks!’ chants. The Rock, Foley and Vince smirk, as Vince is given back the mic.

Vince: But what made me the happiest last night, was something that I thought would never happen. I was proud of my son. Well at least, I was proud of one of my sons. Son, Steve, come out here!

‘Glass Shatters’ to immense heat, as none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin- McMahon makes his way down to the ring. As he slides into the ring, he hugs his dad Vince, something no-one would think would happen in years!

Vince: Steve, I am proud of you son!

The crowd give big heat, as Steve nods his head.

Vince: Last night, I saw something I thought I would never see; even when I found out you were my son. Steve, I saw the MCMAHON in your eyes!

The crowd even more heat, as Steve looks ecstatic, as the Tag Team Champion applaud father and bastard son.

Vince: But moving on, I see Steve, that you don’t have any gold around your waist.

The crowd pop for the first time in this promo, as Steve does look angry, although Vince once again speaks.

Vince: But son, that won’t be for long, because at The Great American Bash, you will get your title shot, and I have no doubt that you will walk out victorious.

Vince: Because at The Great American Bash, whether it be either one of those sons of bitches, if it is either HHH...

Crowd pop at HHH’s mention

Vince: or Ric Flair...

Crowd the WOOO’s at the WWE Champ’s mention

Vince: you will walk out as the WWE CHAMPION!

The crowd boos, as SCSA will get a WWE Title shot at the Bash.

Steve: And that’s the bottom line, coz’ the Corporation says so!

‘No Chance’ hits once again to huge heat, as The Corporation raise each other’s hands.

JR: We have our first GAB match set King, with Vince’s son Stone Cold Steve Austin- McMahon facing off against either HHH or Ric Flair, for the WWE Championship!

King: And the odds have to be stacked up against whoever the champ is, with The Corporation being in Austin’s corner!

JR: King, this has been an extraordinary night, but still to come after the break, the Special Referee WWE Title match! This is a match you do not want to miss!

*Commercial*

‘Sexy Boy’ hits as soon as we come back from the break, as the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring in a referee’s shirt.

JR: Welcome back to this edition of Monday Night Raw and we are ready for the main event for the WWE Championship! HHH will be aiming to become a 13 time World Champion, while Ric Flair is hoping to continue his reign as well as to continue his phenomenal career.

King: This is one of the biggest matches in Raw history, with not only HHH and Ric Flair battling it out for the WWE Title, but Shawn Michaels is the Special Guest Referee!

‘The Game’ hits to a big ovation as The Game HHH makes his way down to the ring.

JR: There he is King. The man who lost his title last night, and now once again looking to become the World Champion.

King: And HHH said earlier tonight, if it came to retiring Ric Flair to win the World Title, he would do it!

‘Space Odyssey’ hits for the 2nd time in the night to a massive pop once again, as the ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair, the 17 time World Champion makes his way down the entrance ramp and into the ring.

JR: The 17 time World Champion is hoping to defeat long time best friend HHH here tonight, so he can continue to be the champion, as well as continue to wrestle.

A microphone is then given to Lillian Garcia, who does the ‘big match’ introductions.

Lillian: The following is a Special Guest Referee match and it is for the WWE Championship. Firstly, introducing the Special Referee, he is from San Antonio Texas, he is the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels!

The crowd give Shawn a great response.

Lillian: Now introducing the competitors. First up the challenger. He is from Greenwich, Connecticut, he is a 12 time World Champion, he is the ‘King of Kings’, Triple H!

Another big response for HHH.

Lillian: Lastly, introducing the NEW WWE Champion, he is the Nature Boy, the 17 time World Champion, Ric FLAIR!!

The crowd erupts with cheers and WOOOO’s, as HHH and HBK cheer Flair on, as Ric acknowledges them.

Main Event
Special Guest Referee Match
WWE Champion
HHH vs. Ric Flair (c) w/ HBK as Special Guest Referee

Triple H approaches Flair at the start of the match, but it turns out to be a bad decision, as Flair then begins to chop and punch away at HHH. A punch then knocks down ‘The Game’, as a shocked HHH then crawls up with the aid of the ropes, and goes into the corner. Flair then unloads with even more chops and punches, before he drags him out of the corner and flips him over his shoulders with a snapmare. Flair then turns HHH over onto his stomach, and he drops the knee on the back of his challenger’s head. Flair then lifts up HHH, and nails a delayed vertical suplex! Flair then begins stomping away at the body, arms and legs of Triple H, wearing his challenger down. HBK comes over and tells him to stop, which the 17 Time World Champion, before letting out a ‘WOO’, which causes more WOOO’s to come from the crowd. As he turns around, HHH gets him in a small package, although Flair rolls through into a roll up of his own. 1...NO! HHH manages to get out almost straight away, as Flair gets back up, but as he goes to stomp on HHH, he grabs a hold of his leg, before making his way up to a vertical base. HHH then whips Flair into the corner, where HHH then begins to scale the ropes. When HHH is on the 2nd rope, he begins to pummel the head of Flair, delivering 10 straight punches to the top of Flair’s skull. When HHH is pulled off by HBK, Flair walks out of the corner, before doing the good old ‘Flair Flop’, as the crowd laugh. Triple H then bounces Flair off the ropes when he gets back, before nailing a short arm clothesline, before nailing 2 more as Flair had gotten up from the clotheslines straight away. HHH then lifts up Flair and nails a knee to the gut, and bounces off the ropes. Flair catches him with an inverted atomic drop much to the dismay of the King of Kings, before Flair nailed him with a Butterfly Suplex.

Flair went back over to his opponent and best friend, and begins to knife edge chop away at the chest of his former Evolution teammate. After many slaps to the chest, HHH’s chest went a very bright red, as it looked on the verge of bleeding. Flair then lifts up HHH once again, before nailing a perfect belly to belly suplex, sending Triple H half way across the ring. Flair then whips the DX member across the ropes and looks for a back body drop, only for HHH to send Flair’s head into the canvas with a DDT, and now HHH is in charge. The Cerebral Assassin then lifts up Flair, before going behind him and nailing a Falling Neckbreaker, quickly followed by a knee drop of his own. Triple H then goes to the legs of Flair, and locks in an Indian Death Lock! Flair, sensing danger, quickly crawl to the ropes, as Michaels begins to count to 5, as HHH lets go at 4. Triple H then very powerfully whipped Flair into the turnbuckles, before nailing a hip toss as he returned. Triple H then got the knee of Flair and twisted it, before nailing some knee drops to the knee. Flair screams in agony, as HHH let’s go and starts to stomp away at Flair. Triple H then bounced off the ropes and goes for one more knee drop, but Flair manages to avoid it by rolling out of the way, although HHH seems unharmed. HHH quickly charges at Flair when he gets up with a flying high knee strike, but at the same time Flair nails his protégé with a clothesline, knocking both men down. The two men are knocked out as we go to a commercial.

*Commercial*

When we come back from what was the first commercial break of the match and perhaps the last of the night, Triple H lifts up the Nature Boy, and drops with a vicious Knee Face buster! HHH goes back over to Flair, but the opportunistic ‘Dirtiest Player in the Game’ nails his friend with a thumb to the eye, as HBK lets the match continue. Flair then takes advantage of a stunned HHH, by going behind him and nailing a devastating chop block! Flair then goes up to the top rope, only for HHH to give him a punch to the face! HHH then goes up to the second rope before getting Flair in a suplex position, before nailing Flair with a second rope Superplex, sending both men crashing down to the mat with extreme force! HHH then manages to get his arm over for the cover! HBK gets down to his knees, making the count! 1...2...FLAIR MANAGES TO KICK OUT! HHH can’t believe it, although he continues to take charge of the obviously hurt Flair. Trips then lifts up the champ, whips him into the ropes and nails an Arn Anderson Spinebuster! The crowd give a mixed reaction, as they think this may be the end of Ric Flair! 1...2...Flair manages to grab hold of the ropes! The crowd can’t believe it, and neither can HHH! A visibly angry HHH picks up Flair, and goes to throw him over the ropes, only for the veteran to land on the apron, and when HHH turns around, Flair nails him with a shoulder to the gut through the second rope. Flair then walks along the apron and climbs up to this time the second rope, and when HHH comes over, Flair nails him with some punches to the head, before going up to the top rope, and nailing a top rope cross body block!! Flair then lifts up the 12 time World Champ, before getting him in a double under-hook, perhaps looking for a Butterfly Suplex. HHH, however, manages to spin out, and get Ric in a Pedigree position! Flair then trips HHH up, looking for a Figure Four, but as soon as he did trip him, HHH kicks him off, sending him back first into the steel turnbuckle. HHH gets up, and nails Flair with a back body drop, sending Flair into the canvas. HHH then gets the legs of Flair, looking for his own Figure 4 Leg Lock! When Trips turns Flair’s leg around and has his back to Ric, Flair quickly sits up and gets the unsuspecting in a school boy roll up! 1...2...FLAIR GRABS A HOLD OF TRIPLE H’S TIGHTS...3!!! Flair retains.

Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Ric Flair.

HHH slams the mat in anger, as HBK hands Flair the WWE Title, having no idea of what just happened. HHH approaches Flair looking furious, as the crowd thinks HHH may revert to his old ways. Hunter, however, actually sticks his hand out, as Flair pulls him in and gives him a hug. DX then hoist Flair on his shoulders, as Flair raises the WWE Title belt.
