WWE Smackdown Live Discussion Thread - February 21st, 2012

Tonight at 8/7 CT, in a special Syfy event, it's Champion vs. Champion on SuperSmackDown LIVE when World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan takes on WWE Champion CM Punk!

I don't have a preview for the show tonight but it is a special live edition, which are usually pretty good. I hope to see you all here for the LD.

The only match I know for sure that's been announced is CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan, which could kick major ass. It did the last time, I have faith it will again tonight.

Unfortunately I can see this happening as well, though I would prefer to watch Punk/Bryan solo.

What's gonna happen is after a 5 minute match, Sheamus and Chris Jericho will interfere setting up a tag match. After 10 minutes Jericho will walk out on Bryan allowing him to get killed by Sheamus and Punk. This will make Jericho look like even more an asshole turning on a heel and won't make Daniel look that bad losing to two people.

This is possible, but I'm still holding out hope that it remains a singles match. It can still end in a DQ with the others coming in, but it doesn't have to turn into an impromptu tag.

I'm pretty psyched for this show. Punk/Bryan II should be great if it doesn't turn into a tag match, which is what some people have unfortunately been predicting will happen.
