WWE has reportedly resigned Sean 'Van Venis' Morley, according to indy promoters who have attempted to book him in recent weeks.

According to a source, WWE is supposedly flying Morley to Europe on 11/7 to join up with the RAW crew. He may be coming in as an agent/producer but we're not sure about that just yet.

More as we get it.

I read this earlier but didn't know if it was legit or not. I'd love to see him again, but he was better in TNA the beginning of this year then towards the end of his last WWE stint.... He even left TNA so he could wrestle CMLL and if he went to WWE, they wouldn't allow him to do that either. I think WWE wouldn't use him right if he returned, so hopefully if he wrestles on the European tour, he is only wrestling then, and not permanently with WWE.

I know.. but they do give a lot of one time type things to local wrestlers/athletes to be jobbers. Maybe they could do a few time type deal with Morley in Europe. IDK, Im just trying to think of a way he could come back for a bit and not be completely wasted, but still be a wrestler. He could be a backstage producer or trainer or something, but I think he still has a few years left in him of wrestling.

Sean Morely isn't a European local talent/jobber though...

Misused?

He is nearly forty years old. He is way past his prime. His prime was in the worst era of wrestling and even then he was only "just okay". His best aspect, his mic skills, are cheesy and over the top.

Fuck hiring Val Venis. WWE giving him TV time would be misusing this hack. (Note: I have nothing against Sean Morley but I just want him to stay the fuck away from my TV)

Wow, this is incredibly stupid. No one really gives a shit about him anymore.

If he comes back as anything but a wrestler, I don't really care much, but he needs to stay out of the ring.

Well he's coming back and do you expect WWE not to put him on TV? Lets face it... in the legends, WWE is basically down to Edge who might retire when his contract ends in two years, Jericho who's kayfabe injured and touring with his band, HHH out with an injury, Show trying to be a Santino every week, and Undertaker who's taking time off for Surgery AGAIN, so Im guessing Vince realised he needs to get back whoever he can, and im guessing Morley is the best Vince can do that's willing to resign with him.

Are you saying that Morely is/was on the same level as HHH, Taker, Edge, Big Show and Jericho?

No, im saying he's been around for a while and in a few years he might be all WWE has.

.....WHAT?

If something were to happen where Vince would lose all his current top stars he would never - NEVER - resort to filling his ranks with guys who've spent the better part of a decade wasting away in the midcard or lower. That'd be like saying Tito Santana was going to get the big push when Hogan & Co left The E in the early '90s. When Vince needs new stars he doesn't go the TNA route and try to get mileage out of a dead horse. This may sound like a foreign concept to you but Vince McMahon MAKES HIS OWN STARS. Prime example - Sheamus and Wade Barrett are already bigger stars in the course of a single year than Val Venis has been in 10.

His gimmick is a porn actor. Why would they put him back on TV?

Morley should have stayed with TNA as a road agent and taught those guys how to throw a good punch.
