Edge returns to Raw following improbable Rumble comeback

Following a dramatic in-ring return during the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble Match, WWE Hall of Famer Edge is returning to Monday Night Raw.

The Rated-R Superstar, who retired due to injury in 2011, has been the subject of near-constant rumors ever since he leveled Elias with a Spear at SummerSlam 2019 — speculation he shot down at every turn. But he appeared in the Men’s Rumble all the same, entering at No. 21 and lasting until the final three with SmackDown’s Roman Reigns and eventual winner Drew McIntyre. What the future holds for the former WWE Champion is still unclear. But as he returns to the brand where he once took his final bow, it’s safe to say we’ll see no small amount of emotion, triumph and, perhaps, one final opportunity? Anything is possible.

Tune into Raw, live tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network, to see The Rated-R Superstar’s return.

Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy to defend Raw Tag Team Championships against Kevin Owens & Samoa Joe

In last night’s Men’s Royal Rumble Match, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe set aside their recent alliance in pursuit of main-eventing WrestleMania. Now that that’s out of the way, they’ll regroup and focus on their common enemies.

The pair will challenge recent tormentor Seth Rollins and his new acolyte, Buddy Murphy, for the Raw Tag Team Titles in a match that will test the strength of both impressive young alliances. For Rollins & Murphy, it’s a test to see if they can build off the improbable win over The Viking Raiders that made them champions. And, for Owens & Joe, it’ll go a long way toward showing whether this is a true partnership that can weather ups and downs or just a brief alliance of convenience.

Liv Morgan battles Lana with Lashley and Rusev banned from ringside

Rusev and Bobby Lashley have been waging all the battles in Raw’s resident love quadrangle lately, but Liv Morgan and Lana are about to step into the spotlight.

In a match where both The Bulgarian Brute and The All Mighty will be banned from ringside, Liv and Lana will square off in singles action on Raw, bringing their simmering rivalry-within-a-rivalry to a boil. The match will mark Liv’s first singles competition in six months, as well as an opportunity for the pair to settle the score on their own unfinished business. Given the (still unelaborated) revelations from Lana’s wedding to Lashley, it’s clear these two have a lot to talk about — or, more likely, fight about — before all is said and done.

Who will Drew McIntyre and Charlotte Flair challenge at WrestleMania after their Royal Rumble victories?

The Road to WrestleMania has begun with Drew McIntyre and Charlotte Flair triumphing in the Royal Rumble Matches.

Which champion will the two Raw competitors challenge on The Grandest Stage of Them All?

McIntyre could be salivating at the opportunity to take on WWE Champion Brock Lesnar after being the one to end The Beast’s dominant run in the Royal Rumble Match by eliminating him with a massive Claymore kick.

But perhaps The Scottish Terminator also envies the opportunity to take down Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

Meanwhile, Charlotte has an intriguing choice. Will she duel once again with longtime rival Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship? Or will she take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, with whom she also shares a long history?

Tune in to Raw Monday at 8/7 C as The Road to WrestleMania ramps up!

The Wanted Man
Kind of wish Edge was Smackdown. He was on both brands during his career but when I think of Edge I think of Smackdown.

But I’m just happy he’s back.

Tbh considering I favor Raw to SmackDown by a landslide I want him on Raw.

SD also just got Sheamus and JoMo returns.

The Wanted Man
I suppose that’s true.

Plus I’m sure in the time he’s back he’ll be on Smackdown at some point anyway. His true home.
