There was speculation that even people with the ad free tier were still gonna get commercials because it was live television, so I think that’s the only reason that first statement got released.

There’s always video packages and pre-tapes, but some thought with it going to streaming there’d be no commercial breaks. Similar to MLW reload that just aired.

yeah the first tweet was odd because netflix will be the only way to watch it and you have to have a sub so i'm guessing they meant if you had the ad free like you said it will be without commercials.

I’ve been off Netflix so long that they didn’t even offer an ad version. Hulu was the only company that did that that I knew of.

No idea, like would they need to take commercials at set times like they do or now or with them streaming could they now let the whole match playout and then go to commercial for example.

According to that second report it sounds like they’re still going to format the show like they’ve always done it so they’ll probably just play commercials for the ad tiers at certain places but if you have the ad free one you won’t notice the breaks during the matches, but if they’re still taking regular breaks between segments, then we’ll probably get three minutes of video packages.

Which I kind of wish they didn’t format it like they used to because I don’t mind having a video package here and there but like if I’m watching a RAW on Netflix I didn’t want three minutes straight of video packages lol

It's probably just gonna be like Peacock. You have ad free peacock so you don't get interrupted by ads while watching....but bc not everyone has ad free WWE has to put in random video packages so people with the ad version don't miss actual content lol

Ad free Netflix subscribers will probably get video packages or the commercial portion of matches if it's a mid match commercial

Oh for sure. I just meant in relation to his post. I don’t want to see a wrestler stand in the ring for three minutes for match commercials.

They’ll definitely take breaks between segments like always.
