Opening segment seemed useful since it would set up something for Bryan down the road, but it was something pointless for Bryan, and set up a pointless ME. And the opening match wasn't good, and there's no way the ME will be.

Bryan being there means WWE aren't burying his ass, in fact, it's more spotlight for the bitw :bitw:. The tag-team match isn't pointless, it will further push Punk's attention seeking gimmick down the casuals throats, and will build towards Summerslam match. I call Punk screwing Cena so Show hits the WMD. Show looks strong, Cena is protected and Punk gets the spotlight.

DB being there is just because they want his btiw ass in the ME.
