Rasslin with a t-shirt on is bush league shit.

Hence why Sting did it in TNA when he got fat and was too embarassed to wear his Catwoman attire. WWE would of slapped a gym membership in his face and told him to gtfo, example Chris Hero.

And that means Steen will get the same treatment? Husky Harris wasn't wearing a shirt.
Of course not he hasn't proven anything to Vince and co, don't get me wrong I love making fun of fat wrestler having to resort to t-shirts I just don't think its a big issue.

It shouldn't be the main issue at least as there have been many wrestlers that have succeeded with the physique of Steen.

Anyone not named Bray Wyatt or Umaga in the past five years?

Shouldn't be an issue, but the guys whole persona is "Fight Steen Fight" or "Kill Steen Kill" but you put him in a ring with Big E or Rusev and he looks so out of place.

I think at this stage he's just wrestling with t-shirts on because he wants to sell some merch. I wouldn't say he's embarrassed about his physique, if he was he would have started wrestling with t-shirts years ago, especially back in 2009-10 when he was at his heaviest.

I'm a fan of the guy. I don't think it would be hard for him to adapt to the WWE style of promos and such. It's not really that hard to not cuss if you are a bad one for cursing. I think he'll go far if this is legit.

If you have talent which I think this guy does then his body shouldn't be the be all or end all. He may not quite fit the WWE mould, but if he gets the right breaks, and learns to adapt then he can do it I think.

A body isn't necessarily make or break, but if you don't have a great look per se then you just have to work a lot harder in other areas and really set yourself apart and distinguish yourself form the most likely bad first impression.

I think Steen would be amazing unlike most ROH stars he's not small.
He's got great mic skills and can play heel and face. He could be a great brawler type wrestler but has great agility for such a big guy.
I could see him and Kane having some wars.

I think the fact that he's not the typical body type but can move very well is what sets him apart

Have wars with Kane? He is 5'11" and billed as 240 lbs. he isn't that big. That is pretty average weight for WWE performers and he is still short by their standards. Just because Daniel Bryan got over, doesn't mean every short guy can.....Rey Mysterio getting over, didn't mean every Luchadore was getting over in the States.

Looks aside he's still woeful though.

He acts every bit the indy wrestler, which is not a good thing.

Plus the fact, that I've never seen him in an actual match. Seen him in tons of gimmick matches, and someone always has to go through a table. Even the Dudleyz couldn't do that every match. Seen him the last few weeks on that ROH show, and maybe it was the bad lighting, or maybe it was the fact that I didn't see nothing but some punches and kicks from Mr. Steen. Even Cliff Compton showed more promise than this guy.....That's my problem.

I haven't seen too much of his matches and I'm not his biggest fan, but I'm pulling for Steen to get a contract and see if he can adapt to the WWE style/environment. I don't think physiques should really matter in this day and age in wrestling; in fact I love to see wrestlers of all different shapes and sizes get a chance. As long as they can put on a good match and be entertaining on that platform, then all the better.

Honestly, I think it's all about how these guys can come off with whatever gimmick they are given. I think it's good WWE is starting to look at people they usually didn't in recent years. And to the point of Samoa Joe that someone brought up earlier... I think it'd be awesome to see him get a chance in WWE as well, but I'm afraid his age might be a factor now (unless I'm speaking wrong and he's actually younger than I think).

That's my two cents if any of it made sense haha.

Wrestling in a T shirt always looks bad, even for the Wyatts. Wrestling singlets is one thing but T-shirts or tank tops just looks amateur.

I think the success the likes of Cesaro, Bryan and Punk have had does give hope to other indy guys. That's all people are saying, not than just because Bryan did it Steen can do it, but it does show than if you have talent and work hard, and are given the right push then it can work.
