No Kaitlyn? :(

I'll only watch for Maxine, hopefully she is in that hot attire again.

Detailed Results *Spoilers*

The opening video is new this week and it features the regulars of NXT instead of the previous one, about time. Matt Striker welcomes us to the show and tells us that next week is NXT's 100th episode. He says he's been bringing back some special guests, and this week he's bringing back someone from season 3. He welcomes Alicia Fox, so I'm guessing she was a pro on that season. Fox purrs as Striker messes with her cat-tiger head thing. He says that Maxine has done so well since returning to NXT and that Maxine was Alicia's rookie on season 3. Alicia says something about EBay, but Maxine's music plays and she comes out in ring gear. Walking down the ramp, she acknowledges Alicia, and she says this is her ring as she gets in it. She says Alicia is a waste of space, and Alicia says Maxine was stubborn during the third season and she still is. Striker tries to cut in, but Maxine tells him to "shove it Seacrest." Alicia says she was rude and asks Maxine how she is doing, or "who she is doing." Maxine says she's sorry that Alicia gets lonely at night. Maxine says she always ends up on her feet, but Alicia says she thought Maxine was more comfortable on her back and pushes her. Maxine says she's usually on top and tackles Alicia. Striker calls for a ref as the two girls are fighting each other. This impromptu match is about to start now.
Alicia Fox vs Maxine

Maxine pushes Fox in the corner, and they lock up. Fox does the splits but gets caught with a knee to the back by Maxine, who then locks in a Sleeper, but Fox Snapmares her over. Maxine quickly hits a boot to the face, but only gets a one count. Maxine hits some shoulder thrusts in the corner, then throws Fox across the ring. Maxine hits a European Uppercut and starts choking Fox with her foot in the corner. Maxine then jumps on Fox's back and locks on to her face. Maxine then slides down Fox's back and rolls her up, but Fox flips it and pins Maxine for the three count.

Winner: Alicia Fox

Fox celebrates with the fans at ringside as Maxine looks frustrated in the ring. Striker and Regal announce on commentary that Johnny Curtis and Maxine will get married next week. Striker then plugs Trent Barreta vs Tyler Reks, which will be next. We go to commercial.

Back from the break, Trent Barreta makes his way to the ring to little reaction. Tyler Reks is out next, accompanied by the cane-welding Curt Hawkins.

Trent Barreta vs Tyler Reks (with Curt Hawkins)

Reks quickly takes control with a kick to the gut, then some more strikes. Reks then Irish Whips Barreta and takes him down with a back elbow on the rebound. Barreta is able to take control with a Dropkick, then he goes up top, but Reks rolls out of the ring and regroups with Hawkins. This doesn't stop Barreta however as he hits a dive over the top rope on both Hawkins and Reks. Barreta gets back in the ring, but is met with a big boot for a two count. We replay that amazing dive as Reks pounds on Barreta in the corner. Reks then hits a Reverse STO, slamming Barreta into the middle turnbuckle for a two count. Reks then locks in a Quarter Nelson on a downed Barreta, but Barreta gets to his feet quickly, only to be slammed down by Reks. Reks misses a knee drop and Barreta hits some strikes, but gets caught with a Clothesline for a two count. Reks locks in the submission again, but Barreta once again fights back, but he is once again met with a kick to the gut, and Reks follows it up with a Scoop Slam. Barreta gets to legs up in the corner to take a running Reks down. Barreta then goes for a corkscrew moonsault, but Reks sidesteps him, and Reks starts taunting in the middle of the ring before picking Barreta up. Reks goes for the Burning Hammer, but Barreta reverses it into a Backslide for the three count.

They pretty much said it was a third brand all of its own with the new opening video.

They feature Bateman, Curtis, Maxine, O'Neil, Watson, Young, Tatsu, Kidd, Hawkins, Reks, Riley, Tamina, AJ, Kaitlyn, McGuillicutty, JTG, Baretta, Gabriel, and The Usos in it with the word redemption being prominent. They don't even talk about being the next breakout star or season winner, it is a brand without a title belt and a roster and stories all of its own. In fact it will probably be a building block for the Wednesday slot on the network.

In fact the only roster guys who are Superstars mainstays and don't appear on Raw and SD frequently and aren't in it are Zeke and Slater

That was the season before, but he too is part of Redemption and a regular on there. They need to just give them a belt. There are no silly challenges or anything, just rivalaries, segments, and matches.

Striker also makes the matches, announces, and does interviews now.

I lol'd when Titus said we are done doing stupid challenges and getting meaningless redemption points to end the show

Really good seeing Cesaro (Claudio) on the road. WWE have put quite a few very talented developmental wrestlers on the road in the past month so hopefully this means that they will be brought up to the main roster within the next few months.

Bourne must be regretting getting suspended and then making dumb comments on Twitter. Before he, and Kofi, were everywhere and now they are stuck on Superstars.

In the past month Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Leo Kruger, Antonio Cesaro and possibly Damien Sandow have been on the road. Normally that is a sign that they will be promoted to the main roster soon or that they are at least being looked at for promotion.

Aside from those listed who are some others from FCW that you would like to see given a chance on the road to make it to the main roster?

Abe Washington and Byron Saxton even if it is on NXT. They both have the personalities and are better than guys like Riley and close to guys like Wade in the ring IMO. I wouldn't mind them as a tag team at all

Johnny Curtis never even got the tag team title shot that he should have received after winning the season. The show means nothing anymore and it has to end. The fact that the show is filled with so many RAW and Smackdown midcarders just goes to show that it is no longer NXT, it is a show without a reason.

May as well put them together as a team since that would be their best chance of a promotion.

I think that WWE should look at promoting Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat. Xaviers Woods showed that he was talented in TNA as Consequences Creed and I am surprised that he has been stuck down in developmental for so long. I haven't heard a bad word about Steamboat so I expect WWE to promote him some time this year, he is a very talented wrestler and has worldwide experience so he should be able to make the transition to the main roster relatively easily.

** Results, SPOILER **

"Invincible" by Adelita's Way and the normal opening video start us off as always. Josh Matthews and Matt Striker welcome us to the show as Wade Barrett comes out for the first contest of the day. Why is he on Superstars? Yoshi Tatsu is out next to a nice pop.

Wade Barrett vs. Yoshi Tatsu

They lock up, and Wade quickly overpowers Yoshi, but misses a punch, and Yoshi peppers him with some kicks. Yoshi hits a quick Spinning Wheel Kick, then goes up top, but Wade throws him off of the turnbuckle. Barrett with some kicks to the head, then he hits some mounted punches. Wade then chokes Tatsu with the middle rope, then draping him over the top and choking him with that one too. Wade then hits some knees, and then a running Big Boot, sending Yoshi out of the ring. Barrett follows, and he rams Tatsu into the ring before rolling him back into it. Barrett gets a two count on the Japanese Sensation, then he quickly gets up and Irish Whips him into the turnbuckle with amazing force. Barrett then locks on a Chinlock, and Yoshi tries to use the crowd to fight out. He gets out of the hold, but Barrett hits him with some knees, only to miss a corner strike. Tatsu takes control with a few chops and kicks, then a very stiff kick to the head for a two count. Barrett the hits two kicks to the gut to regain control, followed by the Winds of Change for the three count.

Winner: Wade Barrett

Barrett celebrates what will probably be his only Superstars match in a while as we replay a couple of the highlights of the match. The announcers plug Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella which will be later tonight, but up next we will take a look at what happened last week on Smackdown between Daniel Bryan, the Big Show, and Mark Henry.

Back from the break, we go back to the Smackdown main event from last week. We see the last 4 and a half minutes of the match, then Bryan winning by disqualification after a confrontation with Henry. Back to Superstars, they put over tomorrow's Smackdown Main Event, which is Daniel Bryan defending the World Heavyweight Championship against the Big Show again, but this time in a no-disqualification, no-count-out match. They put over the main event Divas match again before we go to commercial.

Back from the break, WWE Tag Team Champion, Evan Bourne makes his way to the ring alone, without his partner. Scott Stanford is now on commentary with Matthews as we start the Raw portion of Superstars. Michael McGillicutty is out next, and the third generation superstar gets some heat.

Evan Bourne vs. Michael McGillicutty

We start off with the two men locking up and Bourne hitting an Arm Drag on McGillicutty. McGillicutty blocks a second arm drag and sends Bourne down, but Bourne fights back with some kicks, only to be met with a Shoulder Thrust from the apron from McGillicutty. McGillicutty then hits a Sunset Flip, but Bourne rolls out and hit's a Double Stomp on McGillicutty for a two count. McGillicutty takes back control with some strikes, then illegally chokes Bourne with his foot in the corner. McGillicutty with a nice Hangman's Neckbreaker, but that only gets a two count. Bourne stays grounded because of the McGillicutty strikes, then McGillicutty hits a Scoop Slam for a two count. Bourne tries to fight back, but Bourne hits an Elbow to the back of the head for a two count. McGillicutty locks in a variation of the Camel Clutch, without full pressure being applied. Bourne starts fighting back to his feet with elbows, and then some kicks. He ducks a Clothesline, and then hit's a Hurricanrana, followed by a few kicks, including a jumping heel kick to the face for a two count. Bourne tries to go up top, but McGillicutty stomps him and elbows him off the apron. McGillicutty then spears Bourne off the apron into the barricade. We go to commercial.

-- Layla is set to appear tonight at an FCW show in Brooksville, Florida. She is being advertised to do a pre-show autograph session, with the show itself featuring NXT Rookies and WWW developmental talent. She's also scheduled for a show tomorrow in Largo, Florida. Layla's appearance was covered by Hernando Today, where she said, "I always have fun at FCW events. For me, Friday night is going to be a great opportunity to meet and chat with the people who really matter — the fans."

I like Layla so as long as she is doing well, I'm happy for her.

It will be good to see Layla back on Smackdown again, she has been out with injury for a long time and she was doing so well before the injury. Nice that she has a positive attitude for attending events like this and doesn't think that it is below her.
