This year's WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is reportedly set to air live on Peacock/WWE Network on Friday, April 1.

PWInsider reported today that current plans are for the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas after the April 1 episode of SmackDown. The ceremony would air live on Peacock/WWE Network from 10:30 p.m. Eastern time to midnight. The expectation is that there wouldn't be an extra ticket required for the Hall of Fame ceremony.

This will be WWE's first live Hall of Fame ceremony since 2019. In 2020, the ceremony was canceled following the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame classes were then inducted during a taped ceremony held at the WWE ThunderDome last year.

There haven't been any inductees announced for this year's WWE Hall of Fame class yet.

WWE announced last week that it will be putting on a full slate of in-person events in Dallas during WrestleMania 38 week. That will include the Hall of Fame ceremony, NXT Stand & Deliver, episodes of SmackDown and Raw, and "a 'Superstore Axxess' interactive fan experience."

The April 1 episode of SmackDown will be the go-home show for WrestleMania 38. AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas is hosting the two-night WrestleMania on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3.

Hmmm. I guess it makes sense but does that mean that the wrestlers won't be in the crowd for it? If it's just regular fans out there and no wrestlers, I'm really not into it.

I'd just put some chairs on the stage in between SmackDown and the HOF starting for them to sit in tbh
