WWE issued the following statement on the death of WWE Hall of Famer Chief Jay Strongbow: WWE was saddened to learn of the passing of Jay Scarpa, who was better known to the WWE Universe as Chief Jay Strongbow. Strongbow made his in-ring debut in 1947, and over the course of his WWE career, he participated in many memorable matches. A four-time World Tag Team Champion, Strongbow was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1994. WWE sends our deepest condolences to Strongbow's family, friends, and fans.

- Brock Lesnar signed his one-year deal with WWE before he arrived in Miami during WrestleMania 28 weekend. The decision was made over the weekend to keep Lesnar off WrestleMania and have him return on RAW the next night.

The main reason for keeping him off WrestleMania was to not cloud the end of the story between John Cena vs. The Rock because the idea is for Lesnar to be kicking off a “new chapter.”

10 years after he started a new chapter he does it again.

- While nothing has been announced and WWE will likely change plans between now and then, F4Wonline.com reports that the company is working towards Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock for the WWE Title, Steve Austin vs. CM Punk and Jonh Cena vs. The Undertaker for the top matches at WrestleMania 29.

Regarding Cena and The Undertaker, WWE.com has a new video up with several stars talking about the Hell in a Cell match from WrestleMania 28 and how it was truly the end of an era. Cena comments on The Streak:

"I know he holds the streak near and dear but I don't see any reason for him to try for 21st. After seeing the last four matches he's had at WrestleMania, I am certainly not involved with throwing my name in that hat."

Well then...

Why is WWE trying to re-create the Attitude era? It should be time for a new era to entertain fans, not an old one. People have come to not really notice the PG Era so why change that.

Maybe because the PG era is boring and turning fans away.
