He had some number one contender matches with Punk and Benjamin but they were nowhere near as good as they should've been... wish he had to do something though, but what was there to really do on ECW?

He should have gone to Raw and pushed for a Mid Card Title, Could have done good for him.

Last night's episode of Raw did a 2.9 rating with 4,008,000 viewers, down from last week's 3.1 rating and 4,438,000 viewers. As has been the trend, the second hour was down from the first as the show did a 2.96 in the first hour and a 2.77 in the second.

Ouch. 2.9 is pretty weak and down from last week's as well. Of course they'll probably blame the National Championship game instead of realizing that Zack Ryder changing a tire doesn't equal ratings.

It doesn't equal ratings? lmao, say it isn't so.

Honestly though, after watching the first hour, I could of gave a shit less about the second hour because I knew it wouldn't keep me interested.

With the constant availability of WWE, people want an alternative, which is TNA. I felt the same way when I saw the WCW product for the first time...it was a great way to get away from the one company, especially when you're unsatisfied with the product.

Likewise...I really feel that they had the ball and could have ran with it as long as they wanted to, but their minor flaws eventually came to bite them in the ass.

WCW was never going to survive as long as it was owned AOL-Time Warner. It's only hope was Eric Bischoff buying them 2001 but they cancelled the programming and sold it to Vinnie Mac instead. Truly the saddest day in professional wrestling IMHO.

Very true, WCW had so many young guys that could have blown up if given the chance, but WWE just acquired a few contracts and did away with them as time went on. Bischoff has always been a man that can make money, it's a shame that he couldn't have taken WCW over fully and turned it around before the ship hit the iceberg.
