An Intercontinental challenge seems like the next logical step for sure; however, with that long pause between these two just now, doesn't seem like it's over.

What is going on with Zayn? Didn't he debut at the Royal Rumble?

He's been in NXT longer than anyone has been passed over by everyone, including AJ Styles if he isn't on the main roster.

That should be a fun match for sure. But, you have to think he'll be putting Nakamura over. At this point, Zayn might be better off waiting out his contract.

WWE is clearly not too high in him to keep him dangling like this.
