I love the disc. People Power! But it's a shame Bryan/Punk didn't get much attention on the DVD nor the PPV.
Exclusive: Pics of WWE Superstar Collection Zack Ryder & John Cena DVDs
These two titles on John Cena and Zack Ryder are the first in the Superstar Collection series and are both scheduled for release on July 10th in the United States.
Following that comes the Sheamus and Daniel Bryan DVDs on August 7th, and there are more titles in the works for the series later in the year, on Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, Shawn Michaels, and Rey Mysterio.
Having already watched the Zack Ryder release, we can confirm it’s made up of matches only and runs for 1 hour and 27 minutes. There are no video packages shown between matches, nor comments, only an intro to begin the feature.
To speculate further on possible Attitude Era themed DVD being in the works at WWE, at Sunday night’s No Way Out event Booker T stated on commentary that he was recently interviewed about the era. Whilst there was no mention of a DVD by Booker, nor anything solid, you may recall Mick Foley also referenced it on Twitter lately. Given these two occurrences and the confirmation that the WWE ’13 video game will be “Attitude” themed, perhaps these are all signs the project is under way for a late 2012 release. Again, this is purely speculation right now.
Hope so. It'd sell very well and I'd definitely buy it. There would be a fair bit of blurring tho, wouldn't there?
Updated covers for the Daniel Bryan and Sheamus DVDs in Superstar Collection have been released. The first artwork WWE had planned for these two titles featured older shots of the two stars. The Bryan and Sheamus DVDs hit stores on August 7th.
It is only a matter of time before the release a DVD on the Attitude Era because they know that it will sell. They are on good terms with practically everyone that was big during that era and will so much good footage it should make for a packed three disc DVD.
They're mini-series DVDs worth about $10 each in the US. A total of eight titles have been revealed so far for Superstar Collection. The Zack Ryder and John Cena DVDs are confirmed for July, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan for August, then Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston for September. Shawn Michaels and Rey Mysterio for October.
Contents have only been revealed for Cena and Ryder DVDs so far.
I know what they are, that's why I was saying depending what's on them referring to the matches.
These DVD's are a good stop gap sort of DVD where you can hope to capitalise on peoples popularity without having to blow a full DVD on them like we've seen in the past where guys supposedly get brand new DVD's except it's just a rehashed a documentary with a couple of new matches on it. You can release these sort of DVD's for certain superstars like once a year highlighting their best matches of that year or previous years, then when the time is right you can go out a do a whole DVD on them with new documentary and everything.

That top 50 list is good but there’s quite a few of the same moves that are listed multiple times. The only difference is different wrestlers doing the same exact move with a different name. And the match selection is pretty good as well. Just goes to show, don't judge a dvd until you know more about it.
WWE have today finalized the cover for the No Way Out 2012 DVD release in July.
So now, hot off the press, we can exclusively reveal the artwork!
Shots of John Cena, Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Big Show can be seen on the cover, whilst AJ is featured on the artwork of the spine. Check it out below.
No Way Out was headlined by John Cena vs. Big Show, and CM Punk vs. Kane vs. Daniel Bryan.
Following the same pattern of late, in North America it’s scheduled to be produced on DVD format only. You can get your pre-order in for July 17th.
It’s expected to be released on Blu-ray format in UK/Europe. Keep checking Silvervision.co.uk for those incoming product listings.
That greatest finishing moves one sounds pretty impressive. The Hart/Backland match is a lost Television gem which was much better than their Suriviorseries match.
I like everything about the NWO cover other than the main picture and the image on the bottom left. The main image looks awkwardly positioned because they have cut part of Cena off and the bottom left image should have remained within the chain border rather than going through it. Looks really cheaply made and almost looks fake.
As of right now the CM Punk DVD in the works for later this year will have the title “Best in the World“. This is how it’s currently listed on official WWE Home Video schedules.
Also confirmed for Blu-ray disc, the anticipated feature on Punk is expected to hit stores October, 2012.
