Shame. I thought it looked pretty interesting. There's plenty of things in all different forms of entertainment that don't get the appreciation they deserve. I thought The Last Stand (Schwarzenegger's return to the action film) looked pretty decent but it flopped as well. Of course, Snitch might indeed be shit, but I don't see how people could see that without watching the movie first.

I've seen Walking Tall, The Rundown, Faster, Doom and I plan to see this. With the exception of Doom (which was down more to the script more than The Rock's performance, the latter being awesome as always), his films have never disappointed me.

Your post implies that the connection with WWE didnt help the opening weekend. No where does it speak of the quality of said film. Douche :pity:

I think it's a case of "Not even the WWE connection can result in it producing satisfactory numbers".

Not even the WWE connection can result in it producing satisfactory numbers

You obviously have a tough time understanding. That statement, once again, has NOTHING to do with how good or bad the movie is. Let me break it down for you.

The movie is very good but Not even the WWE connection can result in it producing satisfactory numbers

Or

Not even the WWE connection can result in it producing satisfactory numbers which is what movie makers were hoping for since it is a big pile of donkey shit aka Crayo

still love ya brother :hogan:

Did they even promote that movie? iirc, at EC and recent RAWs all they were doing was promoting that G.I Joe movie.

I remember watching his first few movies when I was younger. Not Scorpion King, but like Walking Tall, and that other one that had Sean WIlliams Scott. They were OK honestly. Good action comedies. He is funny in "be Cool" as well

If you had to pick one, which should I watch?

On the off-chance that people seriously don't think Crayo's post implies that "it's a shit movie", it does. I'll explain, the quote is "Not even the WWE connection can result in it producing satisfactory numbers." The "it" is referring to the movie, obviously. A common way of expressing how bad something is, is by stating that even with "X" it's still as bad or alternatively, nothing can save this and just pin-pointing a specific example. For example, not even the small lesbian scene can save a porno that's focused on E.T. sex's life (for those wondering, I'm not making this up). The same logic applies to that sentence, it's just a little more subtle about it than outright stating. As for Perfect's sentences, the first one "The movie is very good but Not even the WWE connection can result in it producing satisfactory numbers," doesn't work due to the fact that "Not" is capitalized. Meaning it was intended to be the beginning of the sentence. In fact adding anything to that quote doesn't make sense since it's a full quote, nothing was left out (as I covered earlier).

That "just in-case, just for fun," out of the way, I've never personally seen a movie with The Rock in it but that's mostly because I've never seen a movie trailer with The Rock in it that looked remotely interesting to me. To be completely honest, I think this is the first time I've even heard about the movie "Snitch". I'm not really a movie buff and I don't really watch WWE, so if it's not a comic book movie or played in the previews before said movie, chances are I have no idea about it.
