WWE Adds New Trainer to WWE Developmental

Joey Mercury, last seen as a member of the Straightedge Society on the Smackdown brand before tearing a pectoral muscle, is now working as a trainer for Florida Championship Wrestling.

Does this mean we wont see him again on Smackdown? If so that is a shame because I am a fan of his and was so happy to see him back in WWE after that horrific ladder incident. Can't believe this guy is still so young, only 31 years old, so he has a long time to go in the business if his body holds up. If he doesn't return to television then good on him for getting the work as trainer at FCW and looking at life after the ring.

I am still high on them bringing back mnm with melina going heel and morrison sucking as a face. Either that or mercury had a good run as a mid card champ as I believe if that nose injury hadn't of caused him to go on drugs he'd be up to the position jomo is aswell as he is a very talented wrestler and can play a heel well. However if he does not return being a trainer isn't a bad deal and I believe it can be very rewarding. The wwe obviously trust him and his talents to train the inexperienced guys so if he doesn't return good luck to him training

Never rated Mercury that much, always love MNM as a team, but felt that if either would make it in singles it would be Morrison. Just didn't see anything much in Joey, althrough who knows if he gets another chance one day, he might prove me wrong.
