Ladies, Gentlemen, and Enby folx of the WrestlingSmarks Kingdom
I, Jonny Nostradamus, do decree that it is time to crown the second King and Queen of the virtual wrestling ring.
This time, with a twist.
How you may ask? Allow me to explain:
- Members of the forum sign up to participate in two A.I. vs A.I. Tournaments on WWE 2K22
- Instead of choosing wrestlers this time, we will be using Fictional Characters that are exclusively from Television, Movies, or Streaming Services.
- Your chosen Fictional Character must have appeared in either more than one episode of the show or more than one scene in the movie.
- If it's a one-time cameo character, they ain't invited.
- Animated show/movie characters not applicable.
- Entrants may be limited after a certain point for time reasons.
What are the tournaments?
- There will be two tourneys running simultaneously, a King of the Ring Tournament and a Queen of the Ring Tournament.
- Both tournaments will be Single Elimination, your rep loses and you're out!
- The brackets are decided randomly, not by the order of your sign up.
- If the number of participants is uneven a solution will be thought of. There are no free passes.
- The matches will be recorded and organized into videos for each round and each side of the bracket.
How will the matches work?
- These matches will be basic Singles matches. Pinfall or Submission to win. Leaving the ring will not be allowed, so there is no option for a DQ or Count-Out.
- Seeing as all competitors will be created in CAW mode, all CAWs will have their overalls maxed out to represent each character at their greatest capabilities and to even the playing field out a bit.
When?
- The tournaments will (hopefully) be finished before the New Year.
- Ideally, I plan on having everything finished and the winners crowned by Christmas.
What do the winners get?
- The winner of the KotR Tourney will be able to use this in their signature, customized to their forum name at the time of winning, their male representative, and the order their reign came (in this case, "The Second" instead of Inaugural)
-The winner of the QotR Tourney will be able to use this in their signature, customized to their forum name at the time of winning, their female representative, and the order their reign came (in this case, "The Second" instead of Inaugural)
- Your choice of a $100 cash prize OR a 3-Year VIP Membership on the forum for you and a friend.
- In the future, the prize(s) may be different.
