Wednesday Night Showdown 2nd January 2008

JR: Welcome to the first edition of Wednesday Night Showdown. Tonight is a huge night in sports entertainment with the new style of WWE. To start the show we have Jonathon Coachman in the ring.

Coach: Tonight will be the greatest show in sports entertainment history with seven huge matches scheduled for tonight's proceedings. Our main event is the Undertaker vs. Edge, also competing tonight will be Ken Kennedy and Finlay which is sure to be a huge mach up. But we kick off tonight’s proceedings with a United States Title Match with Carlito in action against Shelton Benjamin.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE United States Championship. Introducing first, weighing in at 220 pounds from Miami, Florida he is the current United States Champion. CARLITO.

A cheer from the crowd goes up as Carlito walks down to the ring with the United States title hung over his shoulder.

Lillian: And introducing his opponent…

All of a sudden MVP’s music hits.

MVP: Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Last week on Smackdown I believe that I beat you Carlito and am clearly better than your so called opponent Shelton Benjamin…

Shelton Benjamin’s music hits as the crowd booed in sync as Shelton appeared on the stage.

Shelton: I won this title shot fair and square last week and you no it.

Coach appeared on the Titantron.

Coach: Alright since the two of you can’t sort out who is going to get a shot at Carlito’s United States title I’m officially making this a fatal four way match for the United States title starting now.

King: Did he just say fatal four way but there are only three men in the ring who’s the fourth.

After a few moments Matt Hardy’s music hit as the crowd went wild.

JR: There’s your answer King, Matt Hardy I’m guessing his the fourth competitor.

Charles Robinson rung the bell for he start of the match.

Carlito and Shelton Benjamin locked up in the centre of the ring with Matt Hardy tossing MVP to the outside. Carlito was placed in a headlock by Shelton and attempted to break free. Matt Hardy got to the top rope and clotheslined Shelton to the mat. Matt went for the cover but MVP pulled Matt off Shelton. Carlito grabbed Shelton and proceeded to punch him furiously. Then Matt Irish whipped MVP into the turnbuckle and proceeded with a running clothesline followed by an immediate bulldog. Matt then proceeded his attack on MVP by following up with an armbar. Carlito noticed the submission and broke up the hold. Shelton grabbed Matt of the canvas and gave him a swinging neckbreaker. Carlito went to the outside of the ring and stood on the apron he jumped over the top rope and landed flat on MVP’s chest. Carlito went for the cover but this time Matt Hardy saved the match before the two count. As Carlito recovered to continue his attack on MVP Shelton kicked him flush on the jaw. 1….... 2…… but it was broken up Matt Hardy again. MVP ran off the ropes and big booted Shelton knocking him out of the ring underneath the bottom rope. Matt Hardy stood back up then delivered a side effect to MVP. Matt went for the cover 1…... 2…… broken up this time by Carlito. Matt rolled under the bottom rope and rolled Shelton back into the ring. Matt went to the top rope and was setting up for a leg drop which was successful. Carlito Irish whipped MVP into the turnbuckle but it was reversed with Carlito ending up in the corner. MVP went for the big boot but Carlito ducked just in time and rolled out of the way. Carlito ended up behind MVP and delivered the back stabber. As Carlito turned around Shelton recovered quickly form the leg drop and delivered a T-Bone Suplex to Carlito. When Shelton stood up Matt was ready and following a kick to the mid section delivered the Twist of Fate.1…….2……..3. Ding, Ding, Ding.

Lillian: Here is your winner and the new United States Champion MATT HARDY.

JR: What a great match and what a performance from Matt Hardy.

King: Yeah what a great way to kick off the new era and the inaugural Wednesday Night Showdown.

----- COMMERCIAL BREAK -----

Maria: I’m here backstage with the new United States Champion Matt Hardy. So Matt, how does it feel to have won your first major singles WWE title?

Matt: Aww, its great Maria and its just unbelievable to prove to everyone out there that I am a worthy champion.

Maria: There we go Matt Hardy everyone.

Lillian: The following tag team contest is a gauntlet match. With the winner getting a shot at the WWE Tag Titles at New Years Revolution in two weeks time. Two teams will start in the ring and after one team has been eliminated a new team will enter. Introducing the first team weighing in at a combined weight of 473 pounds the team of The Miz and Charlie Haas.

JR: This is an interesting team imagine what will happen if they went through to win this match King.

King: Yeah, I think that this inexperienced tag team might struggle against the more experienced teams like Paul London and Brian Kendrick, Cryme Tyme, and Deuce ‘n’ Domino.

JR: Speaking of Deuce ‘n’ Domino here they are.

Lillian: Introducing their opponents at a combined weight of 465 pounds from the other side of the tracks being accompanied by Cherry, Deuce ‘n’ Domino.

Micky Henson signals for the bell.

Haas and Deuce start out the match with a centre ring lock up. Haas got behind Deuce and delivered a thunderous Northern Lights Suplex followed up by a quick cover. But Deuce kicked out comfortably. Deuce stood up and went into the corner Haas followed him and received a raking of his eyes for his trouble. A quick tag to Domino was achieved and now Domino had the advantage. Domino delivered an inverted DDT followed by a standing leg drop. Haas was in deep trouble and required a desperate tag. Haas was sent across the ring and ran off the ropes. Miz made a blind tag noticing his partner was in trouble. Domino delivered a standing dropkick to Haas not noticing that Miz was in the ring. Miz turned Domino around and executed a falling neck breaker. Deuce ran into the ring and attacked Haas by dropkicking him under the rope. Miz punched Deuce in the back but Domino had recovered by now and went for a schoolboy rollup 1….2….3

Lillian: The Miz and Charlie Haas have been eliminated.

JR: That was short and sweet for Deuce ‘n’ Domino there who is going to be the next team to enter this gauntlet match.

The Ohio Valley Wrestling music hit and appearing on stage were the OVW tag team champions Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears.

Lillian: Introducing the next team. At a combined weight of 267 pound s they are the current OVW tag team champions Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears.

A great reception from the fans as the two young kids went down to the ring Rhodes entered the ring with Domino. As the bell was rung Spears went into the ring and delivered a quick inside cradle 1………2……… no domino kicks out. Spears scampers out of the ring and Deuce chases him up the ramp. Rhodes delivers a standing dropkick to Domino catching him by surprise. Rhodes followed this up with a headlock. As Domino tried to stand up Rhodes had the whereabouts to deliver a DDT. Rhodes went to the top rope and attempted a cross body but was caught by Domino. As Domino attempted the slam Rhodes reversed into a tornado DDT. Rhodes rolled over and went for the cover on Domino 1…..2……..3

Lillian: Deuce ‘n’ Domino have been eliminated. Introducing the next team weighing in at 530 pounds from Brooklyn, New York Cryme Tyme.

Spears ran back down to the ring realizing that his team had just won. JTG and Rhodes started out the third match. With a centre ring lock up. JTG forced Rhodes into his corner and tagged Shad in. Shad ran across the ring and clotheslined Rhodes thunderously. Rhodes fell straight to the floor. Rhodes fought himself to his feet and following a thunderous enzuigiri. Shad was knocked down centre ring as well was Cody. They scampered to their corners and tagged in JTG and Spears respectively. Spears and JTG attempted a clothesline each and struck each other at the same time. All four men were down at the same time. All four men got up and started punching each other. Shad ended up outside of the ring. Spears set JTG up for the Golden Lasso and it hit. 1…..2…..3

Lillian: Cryme Tyme have been eliminated. The next and final team of the match weighing in at a combined weight of 385 pounds Paul London and Brian Kendrick.

Kendrick and London ran down to the ring and the crowd roared. Kendrick started against Spears. Kendrick ran around the ring but could not be caught by Spears until Kendrick got to close to Rhodes that it distracted Kendrick and Spears caught him with a Russian Leg Sweep. Rhodes received a tag and went straight to the top rope and delivered a moonsault. Rhodes knocked London off the canvas and Spears delivered a leg drop off the top rope. Rhodes went for the cover 1……2……3.

Lillian: Here are the winners and the new number one contenders Sean Spears and Cody Rhodes.

JR: Can you believe that King we have new number one contenders Sean Spears and Cody Rhodes.

King: It’s great to see these two kids get a shot at the tag titles.

Lillian: The following contest is an over the top rope cruiserweight invitational with the winner getting a title match at New Years Revolution

Lillian: Introducing next Hornswaggle

Hornswaggle ran down to the ring.

Lillian: The final competitor from San Diego weighing 165 pounds Rey Mysterio

JR: Well in the ring we have Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero, Hornswaggle, The Miz, Charlie Haas, Funaki, Shannon Moore, Gregory Helms, and Jimmy Wang Yang.

King: So the winner of this gets to face Jamie Noble for the cruiserweight title at New Years Revolution.

Chad Patton signaled for the start of the match.

Mysterio immediately attacked Chavo Guerrero and continued there feud with each other. Haas and Miz after tagging together were really annoyed at each other and started fighting each other. Gregory Helms squared off Jimmy Wang Yang continuing there feud which put Helms in a neck brace. Kendrick and London double teamed on Funaki and Shannon Moore. Hornswaggle decided that it was too big for him and went underneath the bottom rope to under the ring. The first person to be eliminated was Haas by the Miz following a clothesline off the ropes. Shannon Moore went to the top rope and appeared to attempt a super kick he caught the Miz in the back of the head and eliminated him who had his back turned giving lip to Haas. Mysterio was close to being eliminated by Gregory Helms who had turned his attention to Rey and all hope seemed lost for Rey until he countered into hurracanranna tossing Helms out of the ring. But ever the opportunist Chavo saw this glimpse of opportunity and attempted to eliminate Rey but Rey got under the bottom rope. Funaki was lying against the rope, Kendrick and London noticed this and attempted to eliminate Funaki they lifted him up but Funaki had the strength to hold on until Jimmy Wang Yang came along and tossed all three men out at once. All that were left in the ring were Rey, Shannon Moore, Chavo and Jimmy Wang Yang. Hornswaggle saw an opportunity and scampered back into the ring. Got to the top rope and set up for a Tadpole Splash on Shannon Moore. But Chavo ran up the top rope and Superplexed him all the way to the floor. Wang Jang and Moore went to the ropes of opposite corners and moonsualted both Hornswaggle and Chavo. Moore and Mysterio picked up Hornswaggle and tossed him over the top rope. As the two turned around Chavo ran at them and attempted a clothesline on Moore but Shannon ducked and Chavo hit Mysterio knocking over the top rope all the way to the floor. Three men were left and all stared at each other it seemed as if Moore and Wang Yang formed an alliance to eliminate Chavo which surprised Chavo he backed himself into a corner. He was beaten down and eventually tossed over the top rope. Two men left Wang Yang and Moore one was going to be the number one contender. Yang Irish whipped Moore into the opposite turnbuckle following him until Moore moved out of the way. Yang hit the turnbuckle and seemed dazed. Moore saw this as a window of opportunity and tossed Yang to the outside. Yang fell to the floor.

The bell rung to signal the end of the match.

Lillian: Here is your winner and the number one contender for the cruiserweight title Shannon Moore.

JR: Can you believe this Shannon Moore will get his chance in a one – on – one match with Jamie Noble for the cruiserweight title.

King: WOW is this the night to be from North California or what Matt Hardy winning the US title, Moore winning the number one contendership. How will Jeff Hardy and Ric Flair go in their matches later on tonight?

----- COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Coach: Tonight we will start a tournament to have the chance for the match against the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble in 4 weeks time. With the title match already scheduled for New Year’s Revolution. The winner will get a shot. The sixteen competitors include Edge, Batista, Ken Kennedy, Finlay, Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Undertaker, Elijah Burke, CM Punk, Kane, John Morrison, The Great Khali, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Umaga. The four matches tonight will be Jeff Hardy vs. John Morrison, Ric Flair vs. Elijah Burke, Finlay vs. Ken Kennedy, and Edge vs. Undertaker. The next match is Jeff and Morrison

Lillian: The following is a WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first from Cameron, North Carolina Jeff Hardy.

JR: What an opportunity for Jeff Hardy here tonight he could be the next man to face the WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent from Las Angeles, California John Morrison.

A chorus of boos went up from the crowd.

King: Wow what a reception for Morrison here tonight and for him to get a second reign as top dog of a brand.

JR: The former ECW champion looks a little sidetracked tonight. I don’t know this would be a great match nonetheless.

Marty Elias signaled for the start of the match after he rung the bell.

Jeff and Morrison started out in opposite corners and walked around the ring. Jeff got the crowd behind him early chanting HARDY…….HARDY……..HARDY. Morrison started the match with hard shots to the back of Hardy driving Jeff into the corner. Morrison worked over Jeff’s back. Hardy fought back punching Morrison into the corner. Hardy followed up with a hard Irish whip into the opposite corner. Morrison fell to the ground. Hardy stood Morrison up and they fought each other into the corner. Hardy followed up with 10 punches in the corner. Morrison fell to the floor Hardy dropkicked Morrison from the top rope. Hardy went for the cover 1……2……. almost three for Hardy. Morrison hit a wheelbarrow suplex and followed with a cover 1…..2…..a near floor for Morrison. Hardy was raised by Morrison but fought out to hit a face buster 1….2…. almost three again. Morrison ran into the corner Hardy followed but Morrison moved and hit a springboard dropkick. Morrison went for the cover 1……. 2……..almost three again for Morrison. Hardy was raised again and fought out. Hardy Irish whipped Morrison against the ropes but Morrison reversed into a whip of his owns. Hardy ran cross ring and hit a kick on Morrison followed by a spinning lariat. Both men were down until Hardy got up shortly followed by Morrison. Hardy hit a spinning heel kick on Morrison knocking him down. Hardy went to the apron but was hung up by Morrison on the ropes. Morrison rolled Hardy back in the ring and continued his attack on Hardy’s back. Morrison went to the top rope but Hardy recovered and hit a dropkick leaving Morrison on the edge of the apron. Hardy smashed Morrison’s head against the turnbuckle followed by a bulldog. Morrison rolled out and mounted on Hardy punching him. Morrison looked for a running move but was flap jacked by Hardy. Hardy attempted a Twist of Fate and now Morrison was in the prime position for the Swanton Bomb. Hardy was successful 1….2…..3.

Lillian: Here is your winner Jeff Hardy.

JR: What a match by these two young lads.

King: What a result by Jeff Hardy he will be going through to the next stage

Maria: I’m here with the new number one contenders for the tag titles Sean Spears and Cody Rhodes. Sean tonight was your first match in the WWE how was it?

Sean: Oh it was great I can’t believe that we even one the match.

Cody: Yeah it’s great to come up in the ranks and get a shot at the tag titles.

Maria: Well there you go boy’s congratulations back to you JR.

JR: Earlier tonight we crowned a new United States champion. Here are the highlights.

Highlights shown of fatal four way.

Lillian: The following is a WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first from Charlotte, North Carolina the Nature Boy Ric Flair.

The crowd erupted with a profound WOOOOOOOOOOO.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent Elijah Burke.

Jack Doan signaled the start of the match. Flair and Burke locked up in the ring. Burke drove Flair into the corner. Burke knocked Flair down so he was sitting in the corner. Burke ran from one corner to the other crushing Flair’s head. Jack Doan checked Flair he was alright but not he best. Burke picked up Flair and delivered a DDT putting more pressure on Flair’s head. Flair started to bleed. Flair scampered into the corner. Burke rolled down his knee pads and set up for the Elijah Express. He hit it, Flair was now in prime position for the Elijah Experience. Flair was gone 1……2…….3

Lillian: Here is your winner Elijah Burke.

JR: Flair doesn’t look good he really never got started and Burke looked great.

King: Short and sweet for Burke.

Lillian: The following is a WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first from Belfast Ireland, Finlay.

The crowd was quiet when Finlay came out shillelagh in hand.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent. From Green Bay Wisconsin Mr. …..

Kennedy: Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Shut up Lillian you don’t deserve to introduce me. My name is Mr. Kennedy……………………………………………… ……. Kennedy

The crowd cheered for Kennedy.

Scott Armstrong had rung the bell to start the match. Finlay obviously did not here the start and hit Kennedy with the shillelagh. Kennedy was laid out and writhing in pain Armstrong rung the bell to stop the match

Lillian: here is your winner by disqualification Mr.……

Coach: Whoa Lillian stop its obvious Finlay didn’t here the bell so I’m going to restart the match.

Armstrong signaled for the restart of the match. Kennedy had rolled under the rope and started searching under the ring. Finlay stuck his head through the ropes but Kennedy hit him with a chair. Kennedy tried to re enter but Hornswaggle had hold of his leg. Finlay rolled under the rope and attacked Kennedy. Armstrong started the count 1…….. Finlay was tossed into the steps. 2……….. Hornswaggle picked up a little shillelagh and attempted to attack Kennedy. 3…………… He swung violently hitting Kennedy on the thigh. 4………. Finlay picked up a trash can and hit Kennedy over the head with the lid. 5…………. Kennedy was dazed but was somehow able to avoid a second shot bouncing off the apron onto Finlay. 6………… Hornswaggle hid back under the ring. Kennedy picked up the shillelagh and 7………..hit Finlay in the head. Hornswaggle reappeared and lowblowed Kennedy with 8………..shillelagh. Both men were down and Hornswaggle attempted to wake Finlay. 9………… Finlay wasn’t moving neither was Kennedy. Armstrong yelled out 10.

Lillian: The match has ended in a double count out so neither will continue onto the next stage of the tournament.

Coach: All right lets make this easy at New Years Revolution there will be a handicap street fight between Mr. Kennedy against Hornswaggle and Finlay. And since neither will continue in the tournament the loser of the title match at New Years Revolution will take this spot.

------ COMMERCIAL BREAK ---------

JR: During the break Coach announced the other four matches in the tournament. Randy Orton vs. CM Punk, Triple H vs. Batista, Shawn Michaels vs. Kane and Umaga vs. the Great Khali. Also announced for next week will be Diva snow fight plus much more.

King: Wow I can’t wait for next week. But now it’s time for our main event.

Lillian: Tonight’s final contest is a WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first from Toronto, Ontario, Canada the Rated R Superstar Edge.

JR: This is a big match Edge as well as Taker

King: Speaking of Taker, here he comes shortly.

Lillian: And his opponent from Death Valley the Dead Man the Undertaker.

Mike Chiodo signals for the start of the bell. Taker and Edge squared off in the middle of the ring with Edge throwing the first punch. Taker responded with a thunderous right arm followed by a left, right, left and right. Edge backed himself into the corner and stuck his out of the ring. The ref stood between Taker and Edge. Edge stuck his head back in and raked Taker’s eyes. This mad Taker even angrier. Edge looked for a spear but Taker countered it into a form of the running DDT. Taker looked to lock in a triangle choke. After around twenty seconds Edge got out of it and Edge ran and hit a bulldog planting Taker. Taker rolled into the corner. Edge set up for a second spear. This time he hit it 1….. 2……..NOOOOOOO kick out by taker just before Chiodo’s hand came down for the three. Edge started complaining to Chiodo. Taker at up and looked at Edge. Taker stood up and hit a choke slam. Edge got up but was very groggy. Tombstone Piledriver 1…….2………3

Lillian: Here is your winner the Undertaker.

JR: What a match and what a first show of Showdown.

King: Yeah great show tonight goodnight everyone.


Quick Results

Matt Hardy defeated Carlito, Shelton Benjamin and MVP to win the United States Title

Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears won a gauntlet match to become the number one contenders for the tag titles.

Shannon Moore won an over the top rope cruiserweight open to become the number one contender for the cruiserweight title.

Jeff Hardy defeated John Morrison to advance to the second round of the WWE title number one contender tournament.

Elijah Burke defeated Ric Flair to advance to the second round of the WWE title number one contender tournament.

Ken Kennedy and Finlay fought to a no contest in the WWE title number one contender tournament.

Undertaker defeated Edge to advance to the second round of the WWE title number one contender tournament.

Ok not a bad show, but you could add some color and make the matches longer. I mean the Main Event was maybe 5 minutes long.

Woah, slow down. Try posting a show after getting a few reviews, or a few days after it is started. Nice start, just add color and effects like boldness or whatever, and make some longer matches.

Forgot to mention, the two three hour show is a bad idea, because it involves tons of writing. You should probably stick to one or two hours, but hey, at least you were original. Plus, it's your BTB so be as creative as possible, and try to make it original. Nice job so far, just slow down a little bit.

The show starts with highlights of last weeks show including replays of all matches.

JR: Welcome to the second edition of Showdown we start out tonight’s show with Ric Flair in the ring.

Flair: I have two very important things to say to you tonight. Last week I was absolutely beaten down by Elijah Burke. Taking nothing away from Elijah it was a great performance. For me this was the wake up call I so desperately needed. So tonight I am here to announce my retirement from week to week wrestling.

A huge sigh went up from the crowd.

Flair: On the other hand I have some good news I will be starting a new power troop on Showdown. Introducing my first two members of my new alliance, fellow North Carolinians the United States Champion Matt Hardy and his brother Jeff Hardy.

A huge roar went up from the crowd as the Hardy Boys made their way down to the ring.

Flair: Boys it’s an honour for me to help you guys out and reach your full potential.

Matt: Sorry Mr. Flair but it is an honour for both of us to be under your tutelage.

Flair: Well, introducing the forth member also a fellow North Carolinian the number one contender for the cruiserweight championship, Shannon Moore.

The crowd cheered for Shannon as he made his way down to the ring to join the other three fellow North Carolinians.

Flair: Well as we are all fellow North Carolinians I pronounce ourselves the North Carolina Connection.

All of a sudden Ashley appears on stage.

Ashley: Well as a fellow North Carolinian, I would like to join the NCC what do you think about that.

Jeff grabs the mic: Well you’ve convinced me you’ve got my vote. What about you three.

All three nod in approval almost acting like under hypnotism. All four men went up to Ashley and hugged her in appreciation and the NCC had formed that night.

King: Wow the NCC imagine that Flair mentoring the Hardys, Shannon Moore and Ashley.

JR: Those four kids are gonna have the experience of a life time.

Lillian: The following contest is a WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first the Legend Killer, Randy Orton.

A chorus of boos went up around the arena.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent, the straight edged superstar CM Punk.

Charles Robinson signals for the start of the match. Punk and Orton lock up centre ring. Orton gets the advantage and has Punk in a headlock. Punk ran against the ropes and tossed Orton across the ring. Punk clotheslined Orton on his rebound off the ropes. Punk leg dropped Orton whilst on the floor. Punk attempted another leg drop but this time Orton rolled out of the way. Punk scrambled into the corner. Orton ran at him and hit a high knee lift. Punk was stunned so Orton thought that it was time for an RKO but Punk recovered and pushed Orton before he had control of Punk. Punk went for the cover 1…..2…. no kick out by Orton. Punk took a moment and looked to lock in the Anaconda Vice. Orton was able to avoid Punk locking the vice in. Orton picked up Punk and delivered a snap suplex. Orton followed this up with a kick to Punk’s knee. Punk kicked Orton in the chest and set up for the GTS but Orton was able to avoid contact with Punk’s knee and attempted another RKO this time hitting 1……2……3

JR: Orton has advanced to the next stage in the tournament so now we have four out of the eight competitors for the next stage of the number one contender tournament.

King: Well don’t forget that either Lashley or Cena will automatically get the spot for the second round of the tournament. We’ll take a break.

Coach: At New Year’s Revolution this Sunday we already have six matches scheduled already. The first match is for the United States Title with Matt Hardy defending against Carlito, Shelton Benjamin and MVP. The second match for the Intercontinental title is Ken Kennedy and Finlay and Hornswaggle in a street fight. Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears will get there shot at the tag titles against Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Shannon Moore will face Jamie Noble for the Cruiserweight Title and John Cena will face Lashley for the WWE Title. Also by request from Elijah Burke he will face Ric Flair in his last competitive match.

JR: Can you believe the show that is scheduled for New Years Revolution already and there is sure to be more matches added.

Lillian: The following contest is a twelve man elimination tag team match. Introducing first they are the World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. And their tag team partners, first being accompanied by Queen Sharmell, King Booker. Introducing next, the Masterpiece Chris Masters. The next member of this team Chavo Guerrero. The final member of the team is the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry.

JR: Whoa what a power team this is I wonder who there opponents will be.

King: I feel sorry for there opponents tonight.

Lillian: Introducing their opponents, first the number one contenders for the tag team titles Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears. Introducing there tag team partners first from Blackpool, England William Regal. Introducing next from San Diego, Rey Mysterio. Introducing next, Jimmy Wang Yang. The final member of there team is Marcus Cor Von.

King: Whoa what a match this should be.

Chad Patton signals for the start of the match. Starting out the match are King Booker and Rey Mysterio. Mysterio attempts spinning heel kick and hits Booker straight in the jaw. Booker shocked by this tagged out and in came Chris Masters. Masters picked up Mysterio and slammed him face first into the mat. Masters then suplexed Mysterio across the ring. Mysterio landed straight in his own corner and was tagged put by Jimmy Wang Yang. The crowd cheered in excitement. Yang attempted a dropkick and was successful. Masters went straight to the mat and got up again to receive a second and third dropkick. Masters needed to make a tag and did to Lance Cade. Cade ran in and clotheslined Yang straight to the mat. Cade then hit a running clothesline once Yang returned to his feet. Mark Henry made a blind tag and was legal. Henry went for the World’s Largest Splash. Henry went for the cover 1…..2…..3

Lillian: Jimmy Wang Yang has been eliminated.

William Regal entered the ring and decided to take one for the team by pulling out some brass knuckles and hitting Mark Henry straight on the temple.

Lillian: William Regal has been eliminated due to disqualification.

Mysterio went in and covered Mark Henry. 1….2…..3

Lillian: Mark Henry has been eliminated.

Chavo Guerrero came in and continued the feud that cost Mysterio time in the ring during 2006 and 2007. Chavo and Mysterio locked up centre ring. Mysterio gained the advantage and went for a quick whip cover. 1….2… Chavo kicked out before the referee could make the count.

In the ring were Cody Rhodes and King Booker. Booker was on the mat and Rhodes was on the top rope. Rhodes set up for a high flying cross body. It hit Rhodes went for the cover. 1..…2…..3

Lillian: King Booker has been eliminated.

Masters made his way back in the ring. Rhodes and Masters locked up centre ring but Masters had too much power pushing Rhodes into his corner. Cor Von tagged himself in. The crowd cheered in excitement to see the kid get his first chance in the match. Cor Von clotheslined Masters three times. Cor Von Irish whipped Masters across the ring Cor Von hit the pounce. 1…….2……3.

Lillian: Chris Masters has been eliminated.

Chavo Guerrero entered the ring. Mysterio yelled at Cor Von to tag him in and he did so. Mysterio flew across the ring and hit a head scissors takedown. Chavo had his head near the ropes. Mysterio noticed this and hit the 619 followed by dropping the dime. Cover by Mysterio 1……2…….3

Lillian: Chavo Guerrero has been eliminated.

Trevor Murdoch came in to the match. Mysterio was being taunted by Chavo Guerrero on the outside. Murdoch set Mysterio up for leg-trap sunset flip powerbomb and was successful. 1…..2…..3

Lillian: Rey Mysterio has been eliminated.

Cor Von re-entered the match and immediately hit an explosive belly to back suplex. Cade tagged himself in and delivered an atomic drop Murdoch then completed the move with a big boot. Cade went for the cover 1…..2……3

Lillian: Marcus Cor Von has been eliminated.

Spears entered the ring and was met by a thunderous chop block. Cade followed this up with a knee drop and an elbow drop. Cade tagged Murdoch in and Murdoch delivered a Russian leg sweep. Murdoch then called Cade in and they hit the Sweet and Sour. Murdoch covered Spears 1…..2…..3

Lillian: Sean Spears has been eliminated.

Cody Rhodes was the last man left for his team whilst the tag team champions were left against him. Cade received the tag from Murdoch. Rhodes was backed into the corner. Cade chop blocked him furiously. Cade ran across the ring and attempted a giant clothesline. Rhodes moved out of the way and Cade hit the turnbuckle. Rhodes went for the quick pin and 1….2……3

Lillian: Lance Cade has been eliminated.

Rhodes now only had to face Murdoch. Cade was infuriated by what had just happened he rolled back into the ring and cracked Rhodes straight in the head with a chair. The referee rang the bell to signal the end of the match. Spears ran out to protect his partner and with a chair in hand of his own Murdoch and Cade fled.

Coach appeared on the stage.

Coach: At New Years Revolution the tag team match for the WWE Tag Titles will be a no disqualification match.

Umaga’s music rings around the arena. Umaga makes his way down to the ring.

Lillian: The following contest is a WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first from the Isle of Samoa, the Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga.

The crowd cheer in hope knowing who his opponent is.

The Great Khali’s music hits and the crowd boos in chorus.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent, from the Jungles of India, The Great Khali.

Micky Jenson signals for the start of the match with Khali and Umaga yelling at each other in Indian and Samoan. Khali and Umaga lock up centre ring and Umaga throws a right hand. Umaga follows up with three other right hands. Khali shocked by this knees Umaga. The two break up, Umaga runs across the ring and tries a clothesline but Khali just stands there. Umaga tries again but is unsuccessful again. Khali grabs hold of Umaga and tosses him across the ring. Khali stands on top of Umaga but Umaga fights out and pushes Khali away. They both lock up again Khali is pushed into the corner by Umaga. Umaga runs into Khali in the corner and is surprised by Umaga’s power. Umaga follows this up with a big splash. Khali has fallen to the floor sitting in the corner. The crowd cheer noticing that Khali is prone for Samoan Wrecking Ball. Umaga hits it with Khali’s head being smashed in the corner. Umaga picks up Khali and delivers the Samoan drop. Umaga climbs to the top rope and hits the Samoan Splash followed by the Samoan Spike. Umaga covers Khali 1….2…. but Khali kicked out. Umaga was furious. Khali stands up and uppercuts Umaga. Khali follows this up with a big boot. Khali raises Umaga off the mat and locks in the Claw. Umaga’s head was being crushed by Khali’s hand. Khali looked to have the match locked up but Umaga was able to kick his way out of the Claw. Umaga ran across the ring but Khali caught him again with the Claw. Umaga fell to the mat shoulders down 1……2……3

Lillian: Here is your winner the Great Khali.

JR: What an epic match that was with The Great Khali advancing through to the second round of the tournament.

King: How on earth did Khali kick out of the Samoan Spike that is Umaga’s most powerful move?

JR: I don’t know that was one of the greatest matches I have ever seen.

Maria: I’m with WWE Champ John Cena. John on Sunday you face Bobby Lashley in a match for your WWE title where do you think you can get the advantage over Lashley.

Cena: Well Maria, Lashley is a power house and there’s no doubt about it but if he thinks that I’m scared of him his got another thing coming.

Maria: Tonight, you are involved in six man tag action with the Hardy’s and Shannon Moore against Lashley, MVP, Jamie Noble and Elijah Burke. This is a huge match for all six men involved. Good luck tonight John.

Lillian: The following contest is a WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first the Big Red Machine, Kane.

JR: What an opportunity for the Big Red Machine here tonight if he can get over HBK he will advance into the next round of the tournament.

King: Kane next WWE Champion, can that happen

Lillian: Introducing his opponent from San Antonio Texas the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels.

The crowd screamed in excitement as HBK made his way down to the ring.

Jim Korderas started the match by ringing the bell. Kane and HBK lock up centre ring, Kane gained the early advantage and scoop slammed HBK to the mat. Kane followed this with a power slam. HBK rolled under the bottom rope and tried to recover on the outside. HBK was grabbed by Kane over the top rope; HBK was suplexed over the top rope back into the ring. Kane went for the cover 1…..2…. but HBK kicked out before the three. Kane went to the top rope and went for a flying clothesline but HBK moved out of the way to avoid the contact. HBK looked to lock in the sharpshooter and did. Was Kane going to tap out? Kane had too much leg strength and made it to the ropes. HBK lifted Kane up and delivered three knife edge chops to Kane’s chest. Kane backed himself into the corner. HBK went to the top rope and delivered to punches to Kane’s head. But before HBK could finish Kane grabbed a hold of HBK and dropped him straight to the mat. Kane went for the cover. 1….2…. but HBK kicked out again. Kane tossed Michaels across the ring and he delivered a huge sidewalk slam. Kane was setting up for the choke slam Kane had a hold of HBK but HBK was able to avoid the slam to the mat but he followed it up with Sweet Chin Music. HBK covered Kane 1……..2……3. HBK won the match and advanced to the next round.

Lillian: Here is your winner Shawn Michaels.

JR: How good is Shawn Michaels being able to avoid the choke slam and able to hit Sweet Chin Music.

King: Well we know six finalists who will be the other two qualifiers in the tournament be.

JR: Well we do know that one will be either John Cena or Bobby Lashley and the other will be Triple H or Batista.

All of a sudden the music of the Great Khali hit and he made his way down to the ring. He had his eyes set straight on Shawn Michaels. HBK just stood there looking at the monster. Khali stood up on the apron Michaels reacted and hit Sweet Chin Music on knocking him to the floor. HBK tossed himself over the top rope and landed straight on top of the Great Khali. HBK went under the ring and picked out a trash can. He hit Khali in the head with the trash can and continued his attack. HBK was restrained by referees and went up the ramp to the backstage area.

JR: Moments ago we witnessed a vicious attack on the Great Khali at the hands of Shawn Michaels. Nobody knows what Khali was doing coming down to the ring but due to this at New Year’s Revolution Shawn Michaels will face the Great Khali in a tournament match. This match will be held within the confides of a steel cage.

King: what a match that shall be. Also confirmed for New Year’s Revolution is the Undertaker vs. Randy Orton in there tournament match.

JR: Well let’s run through the card for New Year’s Revolution. Ric Flair in his final match will face Elijah Burke which is sure to be a great match.

King: We also have Shannon Moore vs. Jamie Noble for the Cruiserweight title.

JR: Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch will defend their tag titles against relative new guys Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears in a no disqualification match.

King: I can’t wait for this one Shelton Benjamin, Carlito and MVP will be looking to win the United States Title off of Matt Hardy in a fatal four way match.

JR: What about the Great Khali and Shawn Michaels in there tournament match inside of a steel cage.

King: Also Ken Kennedy will defend his Intercontinental Title against Finlay and Hornswaggle in a Street Fight.

JR: What about this match, the Undertaker will face Randy Orton in their tournament match.

King: And the main event will be WWE Champion John Cena defending against the power Lashley.

Lillian: The following is a divas snow fight. The rules of this match are simple the first diva to make the other diva eat snow is the winner. Introducing first Candice Michelle.

The crowd cheer for Candice Michelle. The crowd were all anticipating a great match.

Lillian: Introducing her opponent representing the North Carolina Crew, Ashley.

Probably the luckiest man in the word Marty Elias started the match. With the ring being covered with snow the divas picked it up and started throwing it at each other. They were both wearing bikinis and were enjoying themselves. Ashley was the first to stop throwing snow and slapped Candice straight across the face. Candice retaliated by slapping Ashley across t he face as well. Ashley bent down and threw snow right into the face of Candice catching her by surprise. Ashley picked up more snow and attempted to stuff it down Candice’s throat but Candice kicked Ashley before she could stuff it down. Candice pulled Ashley to the mat and grabbed snow of her own. She stuffed it down Ashley’s throat forcing Ashley to eat the snow.

Lillian: Here is your winner Candice Michelle.

The crowd cheered happy with the result.

JR: Welcome back in a few moments we will have the last qualification match with Batista vs. Triple H.

Lillian: The following is the final WWE title round one qualifier. Introducing first the Game, Triple H.

JR: These two men have a history with each other with Batista winning the World Heavy Weight Title off of Triple H at Wrestlemania a few years ago.

King: Don’t forget that Batista left Evolution as well.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent, the Animal, Batista.

Scott Armstrong had rung the bell for the start of the match. Batista and Triple H stared at each other in the middle of the ring. Batista and the Game locked up centre ring and tussled with each other until the Game forced Batista into the corner. The Game chopped Batista’s chest until it turned bright red. Batista exploded out of the corner with a clothesline knocking the Game to the mat. Batista lifted the Game off the mat and lifted him up; Batista landed a running front slam. He went for the cover and 1……2…… The Game kicked out in the knick of time. Batista dragged the Game into the corner and started driving his shoulder into the Game. The Game staggered out of the corner and almost was hit by the spear by Batista but he moved out of the way. Batista fell outside the ring and the Game followed him. The Game tossed Batista into the steel steps dislodging them. The Game continued his assault on Batista’s shoulder by smashing it against the ring post. The Game pushed Batista back into the ring and delivered an armbar to hurt Batista’s shoulder even more. Batista was tossed across the ring by the Game and on return was hit by a Spine buster. The Game went for the cover 1…..2…..kick out by Batista. Triple H now continued his attack on the shoulder by delivering a swinging armbar. Batista’s shoulder was really hurt now and the Game new it. He kicked Batista’s shoulder continuously with Batista writhing in pain. The Game tossed Batista across the ring and landed a high knee lift. Batista was now prone for the Pedigree and The Game hit it he went for the cover 1……2……3

Lillian: Here is your winner the Game, Triple H.

JR: What a win for the King of Kings there but Batista is really hurt.

King: That was a great performance by the Cerebral Assassin tonight and I feel sorry for either Lashley or Cena when they have to face this man next week.

JR: He might go on and win this tournament if he continues at this rate.

Maria: Up next you face John Cena and the new NCC what are your thoughts?

Lashley: Well Maria the highflying style of the NCC is gonna be hard to control but John Cena better be watching over his shoulder as I will be gunning for him.

Maria: But on Sunday you have a one – on – one match with John Cena for the WWE Title what are your thoughts on your match then?

Lashley: If Cena knocks me down I’ll get back up again and knock him down harder. If he thinks he has got the match I’ll fight back.

Maria: Well there you go Bobby Lashley, back to you JR and King.

JR: Thank you Maria, up next we have the main event in eight man tag team action. Lashley, Elijah Burke, MVP and Jamie Noble will be facing John Cena and the new formed NCC, in their first match together.

King: How will Cena react to the NCC and the form of their opponents is questionable.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is an eight man tag team match. Introducing first representing the North Carolina Connection at a combined weight of 668 pounds Jeff Hardy, the United States Champion, Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore the NCC.

The crowd cheered as the four men made their way down to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing their tag team partner he is the WWE Champion, John Cena.

The crowd gave a mixed reaction to Cena but it was mostly a cheer.

Lillian: Introducing their opponents first he is the Cruiserweight Champion, Jamie Noble. And his tag team partner Elijah Burke. Introducing next Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP. Introducing the final member Bobby Lashley.

Jack Doane signalled for the start of the match. Matt Hardy and Elijah Burke started it out. They locked out in the centre of the ring and fought with each other for a few moments. Matt pushed Elijah away and they came back together. They fought again until Matt drove Elijah into the corner. Matt run at Elijah and clotheslined him he followed this up with an attempted bulldog but Elijah pushed Matt away. Matt came back at Elijah and looked for the Side Effect but Elijah elbowed Matt in the head and avoided the Side Effect. Elijah then started punching Matt and forcing him into Elijah’s corner. Elijah tagged in the Pit bull Jamie Noble. Noble started out with a neckbreaker followed by a camel clutch. Matt was locked up in the centre of the ring he tried to fight out of it but was unsuccessful at first until Matt had built up enough strength to break the clutch of Noble. Matt was sent across the ring by Noble and on return hit a cross body. Both men were knocked down centre ring and were desperate to make the tag to a partner. Matt tagged in Shannon Moore while Noble tagged in MVP. Moore ran across and hit a dropkick on MVP followed by another and another. MVP was stunned by this and scampered back into his corner. Lashley tagged himself in and set his eyes straight on Moore. Moore ran across the ring and attempted a dropkick on Lashley, but Lashley did not move. Moore tried again and again but it still didn’t work. Lashley ran and speared Moore across the ring and he landed in his own corner. Jeff Hardy made the tag and the crowd roared in anticipation. Hardy went flying around the ring and the crowd started chanting HARDY….HARDY….HARDY. Jeff went for a spinning heel kick. He caught Lashley straight on the jaw knocking him to the mat. Jeff went to the top rope but Lashley caught him and landed a superplex. But Jeff reversed into a cross body and landed a top of Lashley and went for the cover 1….2…… Lashley kicks out. Lashley kicks Jeff in the midsection and tosses him across the ring but Jeff hit the Whisper in the Wind. Jeff tagged in Cena while Lashley tagged in Elijah. Cena clotheslined Elijah and in came MVP, Matt Hardy came in and tossed MVP over the top rope. In came Noble and he was tossed out by Shannon Moore. Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore leapt over the top rope taking out MVP and Jamie Noble. Lashley runs at Cena but he dodged the move and Lashley was taken out by Jeff Hardy. Burke went for a Backhand Chop but Cena reversed by putting Burke on his shoulders. Hardy drove Lashley over the top rope and Cena hit the FU looking at Lashley. He followed this up with the STFU and Burke had no choice but to tap out in the centre of the ring.

Lashley stared at Cena who was holding his WWE title high up in the air.

JR: What will happen at New Year’s Revolution on Sunday tune in on PPV on Sunday?

King: How will Lashley react to Cena and Ric Flair involved in his last match.

Fireworks explode everywhere as New Years Revolution starts.

JR: Welcome to the very first Pay Per View of the year, New Years Revolution, I’m Jr alongside me is Jerry “the King” Lawler.

King: What a night we have installed for you tonight. Five title matches are on the cards, two tournament matches and the retirement of Ric Flair in his last match. But we kick off tonight backstage with Maria.

Maria: I’m here with United States Champion Matt Hardy, his brother Jeff Hardy and the number one contender for the cruiserweight title Shannon Moore. Tonight Matt is your mentor Ric Flair’s last match what is your favourite Ric Flair moment?

Matt: Well there are many great Flair matches but my favourite would have to be the I Quit match against Sting.

Maria: Yeah that was a great rivalry, what about yours Jeff?

Jeff: Well mine would be the ladder match against Edge from last year even though he lost my respect for him was crazy and that in my opinion was a great match.

Maria: Lastly Shannon, what about yours?

Shannon: Well my favourite match with Flair would be his feud with Triple H. I remember it and after evolution broke up Flair and the Game had some epic matches against each other.

Maria: Well Thankyou boys and good luck tonight Shannon and Matt hope you win your titles.

Lillian: The following contest is a WWE title round two match. Introducing first the Legend Killer, Randy Orton.

The crowd boo in chorus as Orton makes his way down to the ring. He poses in the corner and receives another loud boo from the crowd. All of a sudden the lights go out and a dong is heard over the loud speaker. The Undertaker appears on the stage through a thick layer of smoke. He makes his way down to the ring and the crowd are cheering for him.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent the Phenom, the Undertaker.

Charles Robinson signals for the start of the match. The Undertaker and Randy Orton stare at each other across the ring. Orton starts off by running at the Undertaker and punching him furiously. Orton just kept on punching but the Undertaker fought back and started punching Orton now in the mid section. Orton was backed into the corner and Undertaker was relentless in his attack. Undertaker shouldered him in the corner Charles Robinson tried to stand between the Undertaker and Orton but Undertaker just looked at Robinson and he ran out of the ring. Undertaker went across the ring and ran back at Orton clothes lining him and squashing him. Orton staggered out of the corner and Undertaker grabbed him delivered Snake Eyes. Orton was even more unknowing and as Undertaker bounced off the ropes he hit a big boot knocking Orton to the mat. Orton rolled out to the outside of the ring. Orton was regathering himself but Undertaker ran across the ring and leapt over the top rope knocking Orton down. Undertaker laid into Orton while he was on the ground. Orton did the only thing possible and that was to rake the eyes of the Undertaker. Robinson was at a three count when Orton rolled back into the ring. The Undertaker sat up and stared at Orton giving him the death signal. Undertaker rolled back into the ring and was hit by a dropkick by Orton. Orton now continued his attack on the Undertaker by punching him non stop. Orton was pulled off the Undertaker by Charles Robinson. Undertaker rose and Orton kicked Taker in the mid section and hit a swinging neckbreaker. Orton lifted Taker and delivered an inverted back breaker. Orton went for the cover 1…..2… Undertaker kicked out before Robinson’s hand came down for the three. Orton dropped a knee straight into the chest of the Undertaker knocking the wind out of him. Orton put an arm lock on the Undertaker and put pressure on his shoulder. Taker rolled out of the arm lock and tossed Orton straight back to the mat. Taker dropped his leg across the neck of Orton. Taker went across the ropes but this time Orton rolled out of the way. Taker landed and just sat there Orton ran at Undertaker and he hit him flush in the jaw with his foot. Taker was laid out in the middle of the ring with blood starting to flow from Takers mouth. Orton lifted Taker up and delivered a furious DDT. Orton went for the cover 1….2…..no Undertaker kicked out again just before the three. Orton was really annoyed now as more blood started to flow from Takers mouth. Orton was setting up for the RKO and as Taker rose he attempted to hit the RKO but Undertaker pushed Orton out of the way and on return ran under the clothesline from Taker but Orton stopped. As Taker turned around he received an RKO for his troubles. Orton covered the Undertaker 1……2……3 Randy Orton had won.

The crowd booed as Orton ran up towards the backstage area.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Introducing first the opponent, representing the North Carolina Connection, Shannon Moore.

Moore makes his way down to the ring with Ashley and the crowd cheer and Moore soaks up the atmosphere.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent he is the WWE Cruiserweight Champion the Pitbull, Jamie Noble.

The crowd give Noble a rowdy reception as he makes his way down to the ring. Noble holds the title high in the air as he rolled into the ring. The Chad Patton took the belt and raised it high into the air as the bell started the match. Noble ran at Moore and attempted a clothesline but Moore hit a drop kick knocking Noble down. Moore went for the cover but couldn’t even get a count of one. Moore then followed this up with a kick to the midsection. Moore looked to set up for a neckbreaker and he hit it. Moore went to the apron and delivered a springboard moonsault but Noble moved out of the way avoiding the contact. Noble now started his attack on Moore by delivering a diving guillotine leg drop to Moore. Noble hit a snap suplex and went for the cover 1….2…. Moore kicks out in time. Noble then looked to lock in the trailer hitch. Noble had locked it in right in the centre of the ring. Moore could only turn himself over and that’s what he did now all the pressure was on Noble. Moore released the move after Noble made it to the ropes. Moore climbed to the top rope and he hit a top rope tornado DDT he went for the cover 1……2… Noble kicked out Moore was furious. Moore tossed Noble across the ring and on return he kicked Moore in the chest. Nobel ran across the ring again but his leg got pulled by Ashley. Moore flung Noble around and hit a DDT. Moore went to the top rope and hit his Halo. Moore went for the cover. 1…….2……3 Shannon Moore had won the match.

Shannon Moore won the match and he celebrated the win with Ashley.

JR: What a high flying match that was and Shannon Moore winning his first WWE Title.

King: Well he did have some help from Ashley but he deserved to win.

JR: Let’s just hope that the NCC can continue this good start and get Ric Flair over the line tonight.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO is heard over the loud speaker. Ric Flair makes his way down to the ring.

Lillian: Please welcome to the ring the Nature Boy, Ric Flair.

Flair gets on the microphone and starts to talk.

Flair: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO as you all know that tonight is my last match and I hope that I win this won. I am sixteen time World Heavyweight Champion, I have beaten everyone in this business and have enjoyed myself of late. Come on down here, the NCC are going to be the new face of Showdown.

Shannon Moore, holding the WWE Cruiserweight Title, Matt Hardy, holding the WWE United States Titles, Jeff Hardy and Ashley make their way down to the ring.

Flair: Guys I want to teach you guys everything. I will take you to the top of the WWE and no one will stop us.

All of a sudden Elijah Burke appears on stage with MVP, Chavo Guerrero and Victoria appears on the stage.

Burke: Whoah, Whoah, Whoah. Ric Flair you have not beaten me and I believe that I was the last man to face you making this decision a lot easier for you. You haven’t beaten MVP either so I wouldn’t be saying that you have beaten everyone. The four of us want to take out your “followers” so welcome to the era of the Complete Package. So if you want lets start your final match and let me end your career right now.

Flair: Alright let’s get it on. Let’s get a referee down here and start this match.

JR: Can you believe this the formation of the Complete Package and we are now going to see Ric Flair’s final match right now.

Micky Henson runs down to the ring and signals for the start of the match. Flair and Burke start talking smack to each other until they get nose – to – nose. Burke slaps Flair and retaliates with a slap of his own. Flair followed this with chop blocks backing Burke into the corner. Flair was teeing off on Burke lightening Burke’s chest as he continuously chopped Burke. The ref stood between Flair and Burke but Flair retaliated with a thumb to the eye. Victoria got up on the apron and looked to distract Flair. Ashley noticed this and ran through the ring and tackled Victoria off the apron. Ashley went through the ropes and chased Victoria to the backstage area as Victoria ran off. Shannon Moore and Chavo chased after the girls. MVP was left alone at ringside with the Hardy’s. MVP knew this and backed himself into a corner and armed himself with a chair. Following the distraction of the four people leaving ringside Burke hit a vertical suplex on Flair followed by a Back Suplex. Burke raised Flair and started punching him repeatedly in the mid-section. Flair backed himself into the corner and Burke just kept on punching him. Elijah rolled down his knee pads and looked to set up for the Elijah Express. Flair ducked and avoided the contact. Flair delivered a shin breaker to Burke knocking him to the mat. Flair took a hold of Burke’s legs and kicked Burke’s knee. Burke was now in the prime position for the figure four leg lock which Flair applied preceded by a WOOOOOOOOOO. Burke was in the centre of the ring and had no where to go. MVP rolled into the ring and struck Flair with the steal chair he was holding. The referee called for the end of the match. The Hardys ran into the ring and attacked MVP as he swung the chair violently at Flair. Burke was able to release himself from the legs of Flair and helped pull Jeff Hardy off of MVP and started to attack him. Shannon Moore ran down to the ring to help out his team. He was followed by Chavo trying to get down helping out his team. All six men were beating each other up with Flair still laid out on the mat. Chavo was tossed over the top rope by Shannon Moore while MVP was tossed out by Matt Hardy. Burke was left alone in the ring with Shannon Moore and the Hardys. Matt kicked Burke in the midsection and the Twist of Fate. Shannon Moore went to the top rope and hit a diving moonsault on Burke which was followed by a Swanton Bomb by Jeff. Burke rolled himself out of the ring and stopped the attack. The four men stood in the ring hands raised in celebration of Ric Flair.

JR: What an end to Ric Flair’s career and what a way to go out.

King: JR, I don’t know Flair won yes but it was by disqualification so we still might see one last match of Flair yet.

Flair led the way up the ramp with his three cronies. They went to the backstage area. All of a sudden Moore is tossed on to the stage. A huge crash is heard backstage as the camera goes there Matt Hardy is in the Masterlock.

JR: What is Masters doing?

Masters: Just in case Elijah didn’t mention to you earlier I am the power behind the Complete Package and you will see more of me and you won’t like it.

King: Is Masters a part of the Complete Package. WOW if he is what a team, Elijah Burke, MVP, Masters, Chavo and Victoria against Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore and Ashley with Ric Flair. This is sure to be a great feud.

JR: Well up next we have the Intercontinental Title Match with Ken Kennedy facing Hornswoggle and Finlay in a Street Fight.

Kennedy and Finlay start in the ring when Scott Armstrong rung the bell. Finlay ran at Kennedy and tackled him to the ground punching him hard. Kennedy rolled over and was now on top of Finlay and punched him in the face. Kennedy kneed Finlay in the stomach as he made his way to his feet. Finlay regained himself and stood up but was met by a swinging side slam. Kennedy went for the cover 1…..2. Finlay kicks out. Kennedy then raised Finlay again hit a shoulder breaker. Kennedy went for an Indian death lock locking it in. Hornswoggle ran in and broke it up. Hornswoggle ran back out of the ring but Kennedy chased him. Hornswoggle was running around the ring with Kennedy in pursuit. As Kennedy turned the corner Finlay clotheslined him to the mat. Now the double team started on Kennedy. Hornswoggle leapt off the apron dropping his legs across the chest. Finlay grabbed his shillelagh and looked to hit Kennedy in the head with it but he ducked and he hit Hornswoggle knocking him senseless. Kennedy rolled back in the ring and it seemed it will finish a one on one match. Kennedy dropkicked Finlay when he rolled into the ring. Kennedy rolled to the outside and picked up a chair from under the ring. Kennedy came back in and smashed Finlay over the head with the chair. He went to the top rope and looked to hit the Kenton Bomb. Kennedy covered Finlay 1……..2…….3 Kennedy had won the match.

JR: What a physical match that was I think Hornswoggle is still knocked out.

Lillian: The following contest is a no disqualification tag team match for the world tag team titles. Introducing the challengers at a combined weight of 467 pounds they are the current Ohio Valley Wrestling Tag Team Champions the team of Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears.

The crowd cheer as the to young kids make their way down to the ring holding their OVW tag titles high in the air.

Lillian: Introducing their opponents they are the WWE Tag Team Champions the team of Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.

Jack Doan signalled for the start of the match with Cade and Rhodes starting out proceedings. Cade and Rhodes locked up in the centre of the ring with Cade pushing Rhodes into the ropes. Rhodes pushed Cade away sending him running across the ring. Rhodes set himself a little early and received a kick for his troubles to the chest. Cade followed this up with a DDT. Cade tagged himself out and in came Murdoch. Murdoch started out by slapping Rhodes. Rhodes stammered into his corner and made the tag to Spears. As Spears came in he was hit by a big boot from Murdoch. Murdoch went for the cover 1……2. Spears kicked out. Spears stood up and started to punch Murdoch hard in the face he followed this up with a standing dropkick. Murdoch was knocked to the mat. Spears lifted the legs of Murdoch and turned him on his stomach, Murdoch was in the Sharpshooter. But Cade came in and kicked Spears right in the mouth. Rhodes came back in with a cow bell. He swung it and looked to hit Cade in the head but missed. Spears had regained himself, but so had Murdoch and all four men were throwing punches at each other it was an all in brawl. Rhodes was tossed to the outside by Cade whilst Murdoch hi an inverted atomic drop on Spears. Cade ran off the ropes and was hit in the back with a steel chair by Rhodes. Murdoch released Spears and looked at Rhodes as he turned around he received a running Death Valley Driver from Spears. Spears went to the top rope and looked to hit the Sean Splash and he did. Spears was hurt and as Cade regained himself he was hit by another chair shot from Rhodes. Spears went for the cover on Murdoch 1…..2…..3 Rhodes and Spears had won the match.

Shawn: Well Maria, I don’t know what I have to do to even knock Khali off his feet so to tell you the truth if I could run out of the ring I would but I can’t.

Maria: Well good luck Shawn.

The Great Khali’s music hit and he made his way down to the arena.

Lillian: following contest is a WWE title round two match in a Steel Cage Match. Introducing first the Great Khali.

The crowd booed as he made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent he is the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.

The crowd cheered as he made his way down to the ring. Shawn entered the ring and the cage was lowered around the two men. There was only three ways to win the match by pinfall, submission and by escaping the cage. Marty Elias signalled for the start of the match. Michaels ran at Khali and started punching Khali in the mid section but Khali was not moving. Khali retaliated and delivered a head butt to HBK knocking him to the mat. HBK went into the corner and Khali followed him. HBK kicked at the knees of Khali trying to knock him down but again was unsuccessful. Khali picked up HBK and tossed him into the cage. HBK writhed in pain as his back slammed into the cage. Khali picked up HBK and sent him across the ring into the ropes. HBK returned and looked to hit a flying forearm but it didn’t affect Khali. Khali was unmoveable it seemed. HBK came back and looked to hit Sweet Chin Music and he hit the jaw of Khali making him stagger onto the ropes. Khali was caught in the ropes and HBK looked set to climb out of the cage. HBK was climbing up the cage when Khali was released from the ropes by Marty Elias. Khali reached HBK from the mat and pulled him to the floor. Khali dropped his legs across the chest of HBK. Khali went for the cover 1…..2…. HBK kicked out. Khali lifted HBK off the mat and delivered a delayed scoop slam. HBK’s back was now really hurting him. Khali had his hand out looking to deliver the chop but HBK made his way to ropes and was able to avoid the chop. HBK went underneath the ropes and stood between the cage and the ropes. Khali ran at HBK but HBK moved and Khali collided with cage knocking himself to the mat. HBK went to the corner and went to the top rope and attempted a diving elbow. HBK hit the elbow on Khali’s chest. HBK was rolling now and went to the corner and started tuning up the band. Khali started to rise to his feet and as Shawn Michaels approached he was hit in the jaw by the boot of Shawn Michaels. Khali fell to the mat again. HBK went for the cover on Khali 1…..2….. Khali kicked out. HBK couldn’t believe it and Khali stood back up and as HBK turned around Khali applied the double claw to HBK’s head applying great force to his head. HBK was trapped in the middle of the ring with no where to go. HBK tried to fight it off but couldn’t he was almost knocked out. HBK fell to the mat with his eyes rolling into the back of his head. The referee called for the end of the match. The Great Khali had advanced through to the third round of the tournament.

The crowd cheered as Carlito made his way down to the ring, signalling that he wanted his title back.

Lillian: Introducing next from Miami, Florida, Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP.

The crowd booed as MVP made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing next he is the WWE United States Title from Cameron, North Carolina he is representing the North Carolina Connection, Matt Hardy.

The crowd screamed in anticipation as Matt Hardy made his way down to the ring. Mike Chiodo took the title off of Matt Hardy and raised the title around the arena. Chiodo signalled for the start of the match. Matt Hardy ran at Shelton Benjamin punching him straight in the face whilst Carlito and MVP locked up centre ring. Matt raised Shelton off the mat and delivered a DDT to Shelton. MVP broke the hold and delivered an arm breaker to Carlito followed by a kick to his jaw. MVP tried to elbow drop Carlito but he rolled out of the way. Shelton attacked MVP whilst Matt snapmared Carlito to the mat. Shelton scoop slammed MVP after their lock up. Shelton focused on Carlito now and delivered a release German Suplex. Matt now got we wanted and that was MVP he punched him in the face while he was on the mat. Shelton raised Carlito and delivered a rib breaker to him. Matt kicked MVP right in the jaw knocking him down. Carlito looked to be raised by Shelton but he took out Shelton’s legs and dropped him to the mat. MVP had Matt in control now and delivered a Northern Light’s Suplex which was followed by a cover 1……2…… Matt just kicked out. Shelton received kicks to the midsection from Carlito as he had him in control. Carlito delivered an arm stretch on Shelton looking to make him tap out. Carlito released and Shelton had regathered himself and stood back up, he poked Carlito in the eye. Matt seemed to regain himself and delivered a high angle back body drop on MVP. Shelton had Carlito now in a single legged lock. Carlito was able to reach the rope. Matt delivered a face buster on MVP followed by Carlito scoop slamming Shelton Benjamin. Carlito dropped his knees onto Shelton and delivered punches to Shelton’s head. Matt Hardy placed MVP on his shoulders and delivered a monkey flip of sorts. Matt went to the top rope but was knocked off by Carlito. Carlito delivered a swinging neck breaker to MVP. Carlito turned his attention on Matt and delivered a back breaker to him. Carlito delivered a Carlito’s way on Matt Hardy. Matt recovered and small packaged Shelton Benjamin 1……2… Shelton kicked out. Carlito Irish whipped MVP into the corner and elbowed him knocking him to the mat. Matt tossed Shelton across the ring and delivered a high angle back body drop to him. He went for the cover 1……. Shelton kicked out. MVP tossed Carlito into the corner; Matt reacted and shoulder him into the corner. Matt delivered a twist of fate to Carlito and as went to cover him he was met by a big boot from MVP. MVP turned around to face Shelton and was met by the dragon wheel. Carlito regained himself and DDTed Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy had recovered and scoop slammed Shelton Benjamin. MVP received a drop toe hold from Carlito. Carlito was pushed around by Matt Hardy who delivered another scoop slam. With all three men knocked down Matt went to the second rope and delivered a leg drop to Carlito. MVP tossed Shelton Benjamin across the ring landing in the turnbuckle. MVP ran at Shelton and delivered the Big Boot. Matt ran at Carlito and delivered a tornado DDT. Shelton regained himself and delivered a spinning heel kick to MVP. Matt looked to hit the twist of fate on MVP but he was pushed away. Instead ended up near Carlito and hit it on him. The crowd cheered as Carlito exited the ring. Shelton Benjamin took MVP down to the mat. Matt dropkicked Shelton to the mat. As MVP stood up he was met by a flying clothesline from Matt Hardy. Matt went for the cover 1…….2….. but MVP kicked out. Matt atomic dropped Shelton and then was met by MVP taking him to the mat. Matt stood up and Samoan dropped MVP cover 1……2…….. MVP kicked out again so close this time. MVP stood up and was met by a T-Bone Suplex from Shelton and he was covered 1…….2…….3

Lillian: MVP has been eliminated.

Matt and Shelton were left. Matt arm dragged Shelton to the mat. Shelton followed with an arm drag of his own. Matt stood up and delivered a side slam to Shelton. Matt went for the Twist of Fate but missed and was instead tossed to the mat by Shelton. Shelton attempted the dragon wheel on Matt but he avoided the contact instead he hit the Twist of Fate. Matt went for the cover 1……2…...3 Matt had won the match.

Lashley’s music hit and the crowd went crazy hopeful for him winning the WWE Title. Followed by this was John’s Cena’s music and as he made his way to the ring he received a mixed reaction.

Lillian: The following contest s scheduled for one fall and it is for the WWE Championship. Introducing first the challenger from Colorado Springs, Colorado weighing in at 273 pounds, Bobby Lashley. And from West Newberry Massachusetts.

Jim Korderas signalled or the start of the match. Lashley and Cena went chest to chest at the bell. They locked up with each other. Lashley backed Cena into the corner, and they broke clean. They went for a test of strength, with Lashley sending Cena down to his knees. Cena battled up to his feet, to boos, and Lashley shoved Cena off into the corner. Lashley took Cena down with some waist lock takedowns, and then tripped Cena down for a cover 1…..Cena kicked out. They ended up in a corner, and Cena grabbed a headlock as they broke in the corner. Cena got shoved off and taken down with a shoulder block. Cena hit a drop toe hold and Lashley rolled out of the ring before Cena could apply the STFU. Lashley got back in the ring and leapfrogged a charging Cena, then hit a shoulder block. Lashley missed a charge in the corner and Cena hit a bulldog. Cena slammed Lashley, and then dropped an elbow. Cena whipped Lashley across the ring, but Lashley reversed it and sent Cena into the corner. Cena came back with a fisherman's suplex for a 1…….2…... Lashley kicked out. Lashley reversed a whip, but ran into a boot to the face. Cena walked into a Lashley exploder suplex for a cover 1…..2….. Cena managed to kick out. Lashley hit some knees to the gut, then rammed Cena into a corner and hit two shoulder blocks to the midsection. Lashley hit a forearm and a side slam and went for a cover 1…...2….. Cena kicked out again. Lashley picked up Cena and threw him hard into the corner. There was a slight cut on the top of Lashley's head. Lashley gave Cena a delayed vertical suplex and went for the cover 1…..2…... Cena kicked out. Lashley missed a forearm and Cena hit a Throwback. Cena went to the top rope and nailed Lashley with a Rocker Dropper. Cena covered Lashley 1……2…... Lashley kicked out. Lashley picked up Cena and dropped down, pulling Cena's ribs down across his shoulder. Lashley applied a body scissors and a rear chin lock. Cena battled up, and Lashley missed a charge after Cena broke out of the hold. Cena hit a back suplex, then a back suplex into a power bomb. Cena did the "You Can't See Me" and delivered the five knuckle shuffle fist drop. Cena measured for the FU, but Lashley avoided it and hit a power slam and went for the cover 1…….2……. Cena kicked out again. Lashley hit a shoulder block in the corner, then a clothesline in the opposite corner. Lashley put Cena in a Torture Rack, and then dropped to his knees with it. Lashley went for the running power slam, but Cena floated over and hit Lashley with the FU, but then collapsed to the mat. Cena crawled onto Lashley for the cover 1…...2…… Lashley managed to kick out some how. Cena ran into a Lashley elbow, and then Lashley hit a clothesline. Lashley measured Cena for a spear, and hit it cover 1……2……3

King: That’s right JR tonight in our main even we have John Cena facing Triple H in a round 2 match in the WWE Number One Contender Tournament.

JR: But we kick off the show tonight with a huge match it is a round two match for the number one contendership for the WWE title.

Elijah was talking smack to Jeff as the two men went nose to nose in the centre of the ring. Jeff had enough and kneed Elijah in the stomach dropping him to his knees. Jeff dropkicked Elijah whilst he was on his knees knocking him to the mat. Jeff grabbed Elijah’s legs and delivered a double leg drop to Elijah's stomach driving the wind out of him. Jeff went for the quick cover but Elijah kicked out before the one count. Elijah fought back to his feet and now seemed to hone in on Jeff’s legs kicking them repeatedly. Jeff fell to one knee and Burke was relentless on punching him in the head. Jeff was hit by a dropkick knocking him to the mat. Elijah just looked at Jeff in a cocky kind of way. Jeff noticed this and delivered a small package 1……2… Elijah kicked out in the knick of time. Elijah was fuming but Jeff Hardy just laughed at him. Elijah kicked Jeff in the head knocking him straight back to the mat. Elijah taunted Jeff and all of a sudden a large WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO was heard over the loud speaker Elijah looked around in shock. Jeff went for the quick rollup 1……2…….3.

Lillian: Here is your winner and advancing to the next round of the tournament Jeff Hardy.

Coach: In three weeks time we the Royal Rumble so in traditional Royal Rumble styling we will have the 30 man over the top rope battle royal. This year I have decided to pick sixteen entrants for the match, the other fifteen spots will be filled by qualifying matches. Well that’s thirty-one entrants you say, out of the five superstars left in the WWE title number one contender, the winner will not be able to be in the Royal Rumble match meaning one spot will be lost. The sixteen competitors I have hand picked are: Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Batista, the Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Edge, CM Punk, The Great Khali, Umaga, John Cena, Ken Kennedy, King Booker, Elijah Burke and MVP. All other superstars will have to earn their entry in this years Royal Rumble. The next match will determine one of the remaining fifteen spots.

JR: What an announcement by Jonathon Coachman just then the Royal Rumble in three weeks.

King: Who will end up being victorious?

Lillian: The following is a Royal Rumble qualifying match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first weighing in at 265 pounds the Alpha Male, Marcus Cor Von. And introducing his opponent William Regal.

Jack Doan signalled for the start of the match. Cor Von looked down at Regal as Regal looked on in horror. Cor Von picked up Regal and slammed him into the mat. Regal rolled around in pain. Cor Von lifted Regal off the mat and spinebustered him back down. Regal slowly got up and by the time he was up he was tackled all the way back to the mat but this time from the Pounce. Cor Von went for the cover 1…..2…….3

Lillian: Here is your winner Marcus Cor Von.

JR: Well now we know one more superstar in the Royal Rumble Match.

King: That was a dominant performance by him just then. Whose gonna be able to eliminate him in the Rumble Match.

JR: Well I don’t know he is a very good chance in the match.

All of a sudden Lashley’s music hit. And the crowd roared as he made his way down to the ring title hung over his shoulder.

Lashley: Well as you all know last night I won the WWE title from John Cena, lets role the tape.

Lashley: This is amazing I just can’t believe it.

Randy Orton’s music hits and he appears on stage.

Orton: Well, won winning your title, this will be the shortest reign of your life when I beat you at the Royal Rumble and become the WWE Champion once again.

Lashley: we’ll just see about that and if you can get past The Great Khali next week for your shot at greatness and at the unmoveable object me.

Lillian: The following tornado tag team contest is Royal Rumble Qualifying Match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first at a combined weight of 886 pounds, the team of Big Daddy V and the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry.

JR: I feel sorry for their opponents here tonight how will they even move these guys off their feet.

King: This will have to be the largest tag team in the history of the WWE.

Lillian: Introducing their opponents at a combined weight of 473 pounds the team of Charlie Haas and The Miz.

Chad Patton signalled for the start of the match. Big Daddy V looked at The Miz whilst Mark Henry looked at Charlie Haas. Haas and the Miz ran at Mark Henry but Big Daddy V pulled the Miz off and delivered a belly to belly suplex tossing the Miz half way across the ring. Mark Henry picked up Charlie Haas and delivered the World’s Strongest Slam. Big Daddy V started dropping elbows into the Miz. Mark Henry delivered the World’s Largest Splash on Haas. They went for the cover at the same time 1…….2…….3

Lillian: Here are your winners Mark Henry and Big Daddy V.

JR: Well now we know 19 competitors and who will have the power to eliminate these guys and throw them over the top rope.

King: I don’t know but what a match it is shaping up to be.

JR: Well up next we have a match in which the winner will become the number 30 entrant in the Royal Rumble the person who loses will get number 1 and the other two combatants will have a match next week to decide who gets number 20, being the winner, and the loser will get spot 10.

King: So this is a really important match for all four men involved.

Lillian: the following contest is scheduled for one fall with the winner getting the number 30 spot in the Royal Rumble. Introducing first from Chicago Illinois, CM Punk.

The crowd cheered as Punk made his way to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing next from San Antonio Texas the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels

The crowd roared as Michaels made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing next from Washington DC, the Animal Batista

The crowd booed Batista as he made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: The final competitor, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, The Rated R Superstar Edge.

Micky Henson started the match out by ringing the bell. Punk immediately went to the outside with Shawn Michaels dropkicking Edge. Batista was double teamed by HBK and Edge. Punk rolled back into the ring and delivered and armbar to Batista after he knocked HBK and Edge to the mat. Punk delivered a Russian Leg Sweep to Edge whilst Michaels punched Batista in the head. Michaels walked over to Edge and both received a leg lariat from Punk. Edge delivered a DDT to Punk once he recovered whilst Michaels delivered a scoop slam on Batista. Punk then delivered a suplex to Michaels. Michaels was tossed into the corner by Punk. Punk hit a charging high knee on Michaels. Batista delivered a clothesline to Edge and followed this up with two rib breakers. Punk delivered another suplex to Michaels. HBK delivered a Fame Asser to Edge which was followed by an Anaconda Vice from Punk but Batista broke it up. HBK lifted Batista up and delivered a knee drop. Edge dragged Punk to the corner and delivered 10 punches. Batista followed Edge’s lead and did the same to HBK. Michaels managed to block a punch and toss Batista off the turnbuckle. Batista delivered a military press into knee drop to Edge. Batista punched Edge in the head. Punk and Edge went to the outside. Batista followed and delivered a clothesline to Edge. HBK was left all alone in the ring. He went to the top rope and delivered a cross body to all 3 men. Edge recovered first and started to kick HBK. Edge delivered an Edgecator to Batista on the concrete. Punk tossed Michaels back into the ring. HBK then stood up and jumped back over the top rope knocking all 3 men down again. Batista picked up Punk and dropped him a top the railing. Edge was receiving chop after chop from Michaels. Michaels was tossed into the turnbuckle by Batista. Punk noticed this and delivered a high kick to the back of Michaels’s head. Edge speared Punk and punched him in the face. They still were all outside the ring. HBK was tossed into the ring by Edge as was Edge by Batista. Batista and Punk went at each other outside the ring, as were HBK and Edge inside the ring. HBK sweet chinned music Edge but he was able to stand up shortly after and kick HBK to the mat. All four men were laid out inside the ring. Batista and Edge regained themselves with Batista delivering running power slam to Edge. All four men got up and Batista clotheslined HBK while Edge slammed Punk back to the mat. Edge delivered a DDT to Batista and then a head drop to HBK. Punk went for the cover on Batista 1…..2…. Edge broke up the count. A spinning heal kick from Edge busted CM Punk wide open. A spear followed the spinning heel kick to Punk. Batista and HBK were outside the ring after a clothesline from Batista took them out. Edge went for the cover on Punk 1..…..2……..3

JR: What a match that was.

King: Does that mean Edge will be number 30 whilst Punk will be number 1

JR: You got it King Edge will enter at number 30 and Punk number 1.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Introducing the Challengers Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.

The crowd booed as the former tag team champions made their way to the ring.

JR: This is the rematch in the clause for being the champs.

Lillian: Introducing their opponents they a re the NEW WWE Tag Team Champions, Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears.

The crowd cheered as they made their way to the ring.

Jim Korderas signalled for the start of the match. Rhodes and Cade started the match off. Cade pushed Rhodes into his corner and put him on the top rope. Murdoch held him up there as Cade went to the top rope to deliver a superplex dropping Rhodes on his head. Cade went for the cover 1…..2 but Rhodes kicked out. Cade was furious and he made the tag to Murdoch. Murdoch kicked Rhodes in the mid section and drove him shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Everything was going good for Cade and Murdoch. Then Murdoch tossed Rhodes across the ring and he hit the ropes. Spears made a blind tag as he Rhodes hit the ropes and Murdoch hit a big boot on Rhodes. Spears came in but he was taken out by Cade over the top rope. All of a sudden Deuce ‘n’ Domino, London and Kendrick, Cryme Tyme and Gregory Helms and Jamie Noble hit the ring. The match was suddenly stopped with all six teams fighting with everyone. By the end of the melee only Kendrick and London, Cryme Tyme and Rhodes and Spears were left in the ring. All of a sudden a furious Coach appeared on the stage.

Coach: At the Royal Rumble the twelve of you will be involved in a gauntlet match for those tag titles. Over the next few weeks you will have matches to decide the entry order.

JR: What an announcement that is a six team gauntlet match at the Rumble. Well now we know three matches.

King: It’s shaping up as a great Pay Per View.

Maria: Next to me I have the Game, Triple H. H you face John Cena next he will be focused on the challenge at hand. You have faced him before so what are you going to do tonight to win.

Triple H: I will do anything I will be so determined to win that WWE Title.

Lillian: The following contest is a WWE title round two match. Introducing first the King of Kings, Triple H.

The crowd cheered as he made his way to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent John Cena

The crowd booed him as he made his way to the ring.

Mike Chiodo signals for the start of the match. Cena and Triple H lock up in the centre of the ring. Triple H takes Cena to the corner but Cena counters and he attempts the FU, but he was countered by Triple H. Cena and Triple H are in the center of the ring, and Cena uses a fist and rocks Triple H. Cena hits a fisherman suplex on Triple H. Cena looks to take advantage and puts a choke hold on Triple H. Cena and Triple H roll to the outside of the ring, As Triple H gains control. Cena counters The Games attempted Irish Whip into the steps, and gives him a back body drop on the steel. Cena rolls back in the ring to stop the count. Triple H manages to regain himself and roll back into the ring. The Game starts to elbow Cena across his face. Cena moves onto the ring apron. Cena gets pushed off the apron and hits the barrier. The Game brings Cena back in the ring and went for the cover 1……2…… Cena kicks out. Cena nails the Game with a right hand, but the Game gives Cena a face buster, and a clothesline. The Game went for a cover 1……2….. Cena kicked out after a long two count. A neckbreaker by the Game and he goes for the cover 1……2……. again Cena just kicks out. Triple H goes for another swinging neckbreaker and cover 1…..2….. Cena kicks out again. Triple H has Cena in a neck vice, but Cena manages to gets out of it, only to get caught in a sleeper. Cena is on his stomach, and is trying to fight his way back to his feet, and he successfully does. He puts Triple H in the corner, and hits a few shoulder blocks. Cena clotheslined Triple H and then Cena goes for the punch, and the You Cant See Me, but Triple H counters with a spine buster. Shoulder block knocks down H, and a Suplex. Cena hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena locks in the STFU, and he is in the center of the ring. Triple H drags Cena to the ropes, and he reaches his hand for the rope to break the count. Cena can’t believe it and as Triple H got up he kicked Cena in the mid section. The Game hit the Pedigree 1…….2…….3.

JR: What a match that was Cena was so close.

King: That was as good as their Wrestlemania 22 match.

The arena exploded with fireworks as Showdown went to the air.

JR: Welcome to Wednesday Night Showdown I’m JR and alongside me is Jerry “The King” Lawler.

King: What a night we have tonight JR. We have the inform Jeff Hardy facing the Game Triple H and The Great Khali vs. Randy Orton in final round qualifiers for the WWE Title.

JR: But right now we have a royal rumble qualifying match.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with the winner advancing to the royal rumble match. Introducing first from Belfast, Ireland Finlay.

The crowd booed as Finlay appeared on the stage and made his way down to the ring with shillelagh in hand.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent from Los Angeles California, John Morrison.

The crowd sort of cheered as Morrison appeared on the stage and made his way down to the ring. As Morrison rolled into the ring he was kicked by Finlay immediately. Marty Elias signalled for the start for the match. Finlay continued to kick Morrison in the stomach as he rolled around. Morrison stood up and was met by a clothesline from Finlay. He went for the cover 1…...2… Morrison kicked out. Morrison got up again and this time was suplexed across the ring but he landed on his feet. Morrison hit Finlay with a spinning heel kick knocking him to the mat. Finlay started to get back to his feet as Morrison jumped off the ropes and hit a springboard enzuigiri knocking Finlay back to the mat. Morrison went for the cover 1…….2…. Finlay kicked out just in time. Morrison was setting up for a neckbreaker taking Finlay back down but Morrison was pushed away by Finlay and again was hit by a clothesline. Finlay grabbed Morrison’s legs and locked in a Boston Crab and stood up high so Morrison only had his shoulders on the mat. Elias made the count 1…….2….. Morrison rolled his shoulder up. Finlay let go and hit a leg drop. Morrison was in pain now and managed to get to his feet only to rake Finlay’s eyes and hit a DDT on Finlay. Morrison tossed Finlay into the corner and hit a clothesline followed by a neckbreaker he went for the cover 1…..2….. Finlay managed to kick out. All of a sudden Hornswoggle appeared from under the ring. Finlay called the ref over to help him out and as that happened Hornswoggle came in and hit Morrison three times in the knee with a shillelagh. Finlay lifted Morrison up still in pain and delivered a Celtic Cross. Finlay went for the cover 1……2…..3

Lillian: Here is your winner Finlay.

King: Finlay cheated if it wasn’t for that little Leprechaun Hornswoggle Morrison would have won.

JR: I’m not denying you that if it wasn’t for Hornswoggle it wouldn’t be over already.

All of a sudden Coach appeared on the stage.

Coach: Well I can’ reverse the decision but I can do this John Morrison due to Hornswoggle’s interference, I will add you to the Royal Rumble match as one of the competitors.

The crowd roared as Morrison rose his arms in celebration.

JR: Well I guess now that’s another competitor in the Royal Rumble match now.

King: Morrison deserved that he was so close to victory when he was cheated out of this match.

---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK ----------

JR: Welcome back we have Randy Orton backstage.

Orton: Tonight I face The Great Khali to be in a number one contenders match next week for the WWE Title. I will beat the Great Khali and I have already beaten Triple H and Jeff Hardy before I will again beat them next week. Oh and don’t worry Lashley I will beat you in the matter of three seconds. I can already read the headlines Orton becomes champion in the fastest match ever.

King: Well first he has to get past the Great Khali tonight and then next week defeat either Jeff Hardy or Triple H.

JR: But up next we have an early Royal Rumble match but for the divas with the winner getting a shot at Melina’s WWE Womens Championship at the Royal Rumble Pay Per View.

Lillian: the following contest is an out of the ring divas battle royal, with the winner going onto face Melina at the Royal Rumble next Sunday. In the ring we have Brooke, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, Candice Michelle, Maria, Ashley, Torrie Wilson, Victoria, Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool both in their return match.

Mike Chiodo signals for the start of the match. Ashley clotheslines Victoria straight to the mat. Brooke and Kelly stared at each other, after not long ago Extreme Expose went their own ways once Layla was fired. Brooke slapped Kelly so hard that it knocked her to the mat. Candice and Mickie James pushed each other into the corner and started elbowing each other. That left Torrie, Maria, Beth and Michelle. Torrie, Maria and Michelle ran at Beth and tried to eliminate her. Beth was kicked repeatedly and was about to roll under the bottom rope when Victoria came to her aid and pulled Maria and Torrie of off her. Brooke kicked Kelly repeatedly at the hips making he roll out of the ring to the floor. She was the first eliminated. Brooke taunted Kelly and was met from behind by Maria but before Maria could lift her over the rope Brooke countered and tossed Maria over to the mat. Michelle now squared off on Victoria and kicked her between the second and top rope to the outside. But Beth got her redemption and dropkicked her though the second rope as well. Candice tossed Mickie across the ring but Torrie pulled the ropes down causing Mickie to fly over the top rope to the outside. With only five divas left they looked at each other and just stared. Beth walked around the ring and slapped Brooke in the back of the head surprising her. The other three divas didn’t like this and triple teamed Beth and tossed her out over the top rope. Brooke thanked Ashley and Candice but not Torrie and was met by a slap from Torrie. Ashley and Candice locked each other up and Ashley delivered a suplex. Torrie rolled Brooke under the bottom rope and hit a dropkick to kick her off the ring. The three former playmates were left. Candice and Torrie looked at each other funnily and they smirked at each other. They looked at Ashley next and kicked her in the stomach which was followed by a double beat head. Candice then back stabbed Torrie and clotheslined her to the mat. Ashley regained herself and with only Candice still standing tossed her out of the ring. Torrie hit a swinging neckbreaker on Ashley and as Torrie went to lift her up Ashley rolled away. She stood up and tackled Torrie to the ground and they rolled around on top of each other. They eventually got close to the ropes and Ashley ended up sliding under the ropes whilst Torrie hung on. Ashley hit the floor with Torrie still in the ring.

Lillian: Here is your winner and the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Title, Torrie Wilson.

JR: What a match that was and Torrie deserves her shot at the Women’s Title.

King: Oh I must be in heaven look at all those puppies around the ring.

JR: Settle down King…

All of a sudden Melina appeared on the stage. Melina just stood there and stared at Torrie she raised the title high to taunt Torrie but Torrie just reacted by showing that she would be the next Women’s Champion.

JR: Up next we have a match involving four cruiserweights.

Shannon Moore’s music hit and he made his way down to the ring and grabbed a seat and sat at ringside.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first the team of Jimmy Wang Yang and Funaki.

They made their way down to the ring and were met by a huge cheer.

Lillian: Introducing their opponents the team of The Miz and Charlie Haas.

Chad Patton signaled for the start of the match with Funaki and Haas starting the match. Haas and Funaki locked up centre ring until Haas reversed and hit a suplex. Funaki sat up and Haas kicked him in the back hard. Haas tagged Miz in and they hit a double leg drop. Miz lifted Funaki up and hit a swinging neck breaker. Miz went for the cover 1……2…… Funaki kicked out. Miz grabbed Funaki’s leg and looked to drag him into the corner but was met by a kick to the head from Funaki. Miz was surprised by this and fell to the mat when Funaki hit a bulldog. He tagged in Yang who immediately went to the top rope and hit a moonsault once Miz rose. Miz was tossed into the corner by Yang and was met by a spinning wheel kick from Yang. Funaki was tagged back in and hit a dropkick knocking the Miz down. Miz rolled to the outside of the ring and took a breather but as he did this Yang and Funaki ran across the ring and looked to jump over the ropes. But Haas pulled the top rope down and they both rolled over the top rope. Miz came back into the ring and waited for them to come back into the ring. But before this could happen Haas ran off the apron and delivered a clothesline to both before they could make it back to the ring. Funaki was tossed back into the ring by Haas. Miz looked at Funaki and hit a leg drop on Funaki. Funaki managed to stagger into the corner when he was met by a clothesline from the Miz which was followed by a Reverse STO. He went for the cover 1……2… Yang broke it up. Haas ran into the ring and looked to clothesline Yang but he ducked and he ended hitting Miz. Funaki managed to get to the top rope and hit the Rising Sun on Miz with Yang hitting a jumping spinning leg lariat on Haas. Funaki went for the cover 1……2……3 He had won.

Lillian: Here are your winners Funaki and Jimmy Wang Yang.

As the Miz stood up he argued with Haas after knocking him down. Moore rolled into the ring and started parading around the ring with his Cruiserweight title. Miz turned his focus on Moore and immediately attacked him. But Miz just got pulled away by the three other competitors. Miz retaliated and hit Yang in the face, which forced Funaki to hit Miz. Haas started arguing with Moore and they started brawling. All of a sudden Coach appeared on the stage.

Coach: We’ve had three matches tonight so far and frankly I’m sick and tired already of sorting things out. At the Royal Rumble The Miz will face Jimmy Wang Yang and Funaki and Charlie Haas and Shannon Moore for the WWE Cruiserweight Title.

JR: Wow what a match that should be. A five man, one fall match for the Cruiserweight Title, I don’t like Moore’s chances of retaining, next Sunday.

King: Well I’m sure that we’re set for a great match either way.

JR: Backstage Maria is with Jeff Hardy.

Maria: Jeff Hardy, tonight you face ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, I forgot who you face again.

Jeff: I face Triple H, Maria.

Maria: Oh yeah that’s right he’s big good luck though.

Jeff: Aren’t you going to ask me any questions Maria.

Maria: Oh yeah, I forgot again, how is it to be under the work of Ric Flair.

Jeff: Oh it’s great; he is just the best man I have ever met.

Maria: Good luck Jeff.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Round Three match in the WWE Number One Contender Tournament, introducing first from the Jungles of India, The Great Khali.

The crowd booed as Khali made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent, the Legend Killer, Randy Orton.

Orton made his way down the ring to chorus of boos.

Charles Robinson signaled for the start of the match. Orton just looked at Khali and was amazed. He ran off the ropes and looked to clothesline Khali but he just bounced off, Orton tried again and again was unsuccessful. Orton this time looked to hit a dropkick but Khali only staggered, this time Khali grabbed Orton and tossed him across the ring into the corner. Orton looked on in fear as Khali towered over him. Khali looked down at Orton and was about to grab him when Orton kicked Khali in the knee dropping him to his knees. Khali was then hit by a DDT by Orton, knocking him into the bottom turnbuckle pad. Khali was surprised by this and looked to attack Orton again but he was met by a dropkick to the back. Orton went for the inside cradle and was able to get Khali’s shoulders down 1…...2…. Robinson noticed Orton’s feet on the mat and broke the count. Orton was furious and all of a sudden the lights went out and a church bell was heard. The lighting turned blue and Orton looked around in fear. The lights turned back to normal with a layer of smoke around the ring. Khali had gotten to his feet and had his hands around Orton’s head squeezing it tremendously hard. After almost half a minute Orton was ruled to be knocked out, with Khali declared the winner.

Lillian: Here is your winner and advancing to round four of the tournament, The Great Khali.

JR: What was that could it be the Undertaker coming after Randy Orton, after eliminating him in the tournament?

King: Well if it is I can’t wait to see what happens to Orton in the next few weeks leading up to the Royal Rumble.

JR: What a blockbuster night we have had tonight. Morrison and Finlay advancing to the Rumble match.

King: Torrie Wilson became the number one contender for the Women’s Title

Coach: Next week on Showdown we will have Batista and Shawn Michaels for spots 20 and 10 in the Rumble match. Also, the final rounds match in the tournament. We will finalize all remaining spots for the Royal Rumble Match, in some huge matches.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for a spot in the Royal Rumble match, introducing first Rey Mysterio.

The crowd cheered for Mysterio as he made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: Introducing his opponent Chavo Guerrero.

Scott Armstrong started the match by ringing the bell. Rey and Chavo went nose to nose and shoved each other. Chavo kicked at Rey’s leg, but Rey stepped away from him before he could kick it. Rey took Chavo down with a Russian Leg Sweep. Rey grabbed a body scissors, and then switched into an arm drag. Chavo fell to the floor and rolled to the outside. They locked up when he returned to the ring and Chavo attacked the leg, kicking it repeatedly. Chavo went to dropkick it, but Rey moved and Chavo slid through the ropes and to the floor. Rey went outside after Chavo and rammed him into the ring steps. Rey tossed Chavo back into the ring and went after his leg with kicks. Rey hit a hurracanranna off the second rope, and then went to the top rope, but Chavo knocked his leg out and Rey got hung in the tree of woe. Chavo hit the leg repeatedly, then went to the floor and whipped Rey's leg into the ring post. Chavo kicked Rey's leg repeatedly, and then dropped several elbows on it. It was obvious that Chavo was attacking Rey’s knee that he injured over a year ago. Chavo applied a torture rack to Rey's leg, but Rey managed to hook Chavo with his other leg and head scissor him to the mat. Chavo came right back with a dropkick to the leg. Chavo applied a drop toehold, then bridged back. Chavo applied a leg stretch, and then drove his knee into Rey's leg. Rey managed to hit an enzuigiri, and Chavo fell on the second rope. Rey went for the 619, but as he ran across the ring, his leg gave out. Chavo put Rey in a single leg crab. Rey managed to make the ropes. Chavo hit a forearm uppercut, and then went for a slam, but Rey shifted his weight and landed on top for a cover 1…...2….. Chavo kicked out. Rey went to the apron, but Chavo grabbed him and pulled him near the ropes for a possible superplex. Rey fought him off and pulled Chavo into a tree of woe. Rey hit some shots on Chavo's leg. When Chavo got down, he grabbed Rey and tried to push him out of the ring, but Rey reversed and shoved Chavo to the floor. Mysterio came off the apron and gave him a seated senton. Rey hit a springboard senton, but he held his leg as he got back up. Chavo went for a sunset flip, but Rey rolled through it and hit a kick to the head. Rey went for a springboard moonsault, but Chavo caught it and as going to slam Rey, but Rey was able to go around him and hit a DDT. Rey went for the cover 1……..2…… Chavo again kicked out. Rey went for a top rope body press, but Chavo ducked and Rey crashed to the mat. Chavo hit Rey with the Gory Bomb and the cover 1……2…. Rey kicked out. Mysterio hit two kicks to Chavo's gut and tripped him into the second rope. Rey went for the 619, but Chavo ducked it. Chavo grabbed Rey for the Three Amigos, but after two suplexes, Rey blocked the third and tripped Chavo into the ropes. Rey hit the 619, and then delivered a springboard splash for the pin 1……..2……..3

JR: What a match that was Chavo was so close he almost had it.

Chavo stormed in on Coach in his office.

Chavo: Are you kidding Coach, I would have won that match if that referee could actually count properly. It was probably a five count under any other referee.

Coach: I can’t do nothing about that Chavo he counted the three for Rey not you, Rey won the match.

Chavo: Well I demand that I get placed in the Royal Rumble match as for my greatness.

Coach: You know what Chavo, you did compete well tonight I will give you a match right now against a new kid that I’m thinking of blooding into the WWE top roster. If you can beat him you will gain a spot, but if you lose he will gain a spot in the Rumble.

Chavo: Are you kidding me or what I just went through hell with Rey and now you want me to blood a new kid. I want to know that I am in the match or I’m not going out.

Coach: Alright if you can last two minutes with this kid you are both in if not his in.

Chavo: Alright two minutes that’s it no more.

Lillian: The following is a two minute match with whoever winning gaining a spot in the Rumble in the ring, Colt Cabana. And his opponent Chavo Guerrero.

The crowd booed as Chavo made his way to the ring. Nick Patrick signalled for the start of the match with a timer on the screen. Chavo just looked at Cabana and slapped him in the face; Cabana retaliated with a slap of his own. Cabana hit an arm drag on Chavo who countered into an arm drag of his own. Chavo hit a DDT knocking Cabana down, he went for the cover 1…….2…. Cabana kicked out. Cabana stood up and hit a dropkick on Chavo knocking him down. With a minute left on the clock Cabana locked in Chicago Crab, Chavo whose legs were still hurt from the Mysterio match was struggling in the middle of the ring. Chavo eventually made it to the ropes, but there was only fifteen seconds left. Cabana rolled Chavo up 1……2…… Chavo managed to kick out just in time. Cabana was so close and looked to hit Colt .45 he hit it with three seconds left, he went for the cover 1…….2….. BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, the time just ran out, Cabana was so close.

Lillian: The match is a tie meaning both competitors will advance to the Royal Rumble match.

JR: WOW what a debut for Colt Cabana, he was so close another second and he would have had beaten Chavo.

King: Chavo better thank his lucky stars he was lucky that the referee didn’t “count fast” or he would have lost and not got his spot in the Royal Rumble.

Maria: I’m here with Elijah Burke, are you still angry at Jeff Hardy who cost you tonight’s match with Triple H.

Elijah: I’m not only angry at Jeff, I’m angry at the whole of NCC who have cost me so many opportunities.

Maria: Well what are you going to do to fix this problem Elijah?

Elijah: Well Maria, next week it will be Chris Masters, MVP, Chavo Guerrero and myself facing off against Shannon Moore, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy and someone of their choice.

All of a sudden Jeff appeared next to Maria:

Jeff: You know what Elijah if you think you have what it takes to be a leader you have another thing coming. And tonight when I beat Triple H we will need two additional superstars to face the so called complete package.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Round Three match in the WWE Number One Contender Tournament, introducing first the Game, Triple H.

The crowd roared as Triple H made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: And introducing his opponent representing the NCC, Jeff Hardy.

The crowd cheered even more as he made his way down to the ring.

Jim Korderas signalled for the start of the match. Jeff walked around the ring and started chanting HARDY…HARDY…HARDY. Triple H started the match out and punched Jeff in the face. Jeff got back up and received another punch for his trouble. Triple H fires off some right and left hands. Jeff gets slammed. Triple H with a spinning neckbreaker on Jeff. Fall away slam by Triple H. Jeff Hardy avoids an avalanche; Triple H hits the turnbuckles hard. Back elbow connects Triple H staggers backward. Full nelson slam! Pin 1....2..no. The match continues. Triple H powers out of a headlock. Triple H hits a bulldog off the ropes. Pin 1....2...no. The match continues. Flapjack from Triple H. Pin 1....2....kick out! A split-second away from a three. JR: What a match that was can it.

King: That damn Elijah Burke he cost Jeff his chance at the title.

JR: Oh well we’ll see what happens next week on Showdown.

All of a sudden Elijah Burke pushes the referee aside, and then continues to assault Jeff! Right hands rain down on Jeff Hardy, pounding him into the canvas. Satisfied with his work, Elijah Burke turns and leaves the ring, the damage done.

Additional Feedback/Comments: Your matches are pretty good but I think you need to work on transitioning into the moves. For example, "Triple H fires off some right and left hands. Jeff gets slammed. Triple H with a spinning neckbreaker on Jeff. Fall away slam by Triple H." The matches seem to be all over the place in my opinion but if that's your style of writing that you enjoy then keep doing it. I think your promos need a bit of work as well because they don't seem to be too much in character to me. I think this BTB has quite a lot of potential here on IWF and I'm looking forward to your next show.

JR: Welcome to Wednesday Night Showdown I’m your host Jim Ross and alongside me tonight is Jerry “the King” Lawler.

King: What a night we have scheduled, we have the final match of the tournament that has been going on. Batista and Shawn Michaels as well as Lashley, the WWE Champion, going one – on – one with King Booker.

JR: Plus don’t forget the eight man tag team match. But who will the final entrant in the match, it seemed obvious that the NCC knows but who is it?

King: Well I guess we’ll find out later on tonight.

JR: We kick things off here with a huge match.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, introducing the challenger the Big Red Machine, Kane.

The crowd cheered as Kane made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: And introducing his opponent he is the Intercontinental Champion, Mr. Kennedy.

Kennedy made his way down to the ring and looked to do his signature entrance.

Kennedy: I am the Intercontinental Champion and no one will take this away from me.

All of a sudden the ring posts released fire as Kane smiled and just looked at Kennedy. Kane delivered an uppercut straight to Kennedy. Marty Elias signalled for the start of the match straight after. Kennedy got back and again was uppercut back down to the mat. Kane picked up Kennedy and looked to deliver a side walk slam but Kennedy was able to avoid the move and delivered a side Russian Leg Sweep. Kennedy delivered a knee drop to Kane. Kane sat up which Kennedy delivered a snap DDT. He went for the cover 1……2….. Kane kicked out. Kane got up and was met by a drop kick to his knee. But he followed this with right hand which was followed by another right. Kane then delivered a scoop slam. Kane followed this up with a running clothesline. He went for the cover 1…..2….. Kennedy kicked out. Kane tossed Kennedy into the corner and ran at him with a big clothesline. He did it again and again. Kane then hit a side walk slam. Kane rolled down his elbow pad and went to the apron. He climbed the top rope and stayed there until Kennedy got up. Kane flew the air and looked to hit a flying clothesline, but Kennedy dropkicked Kane. Kennedy went for the cover 1…….2….. Kane kicked out. Kennedy couldn’t believe it as he kicked Kane repeatedly in the head and stomach. He went to the top rope and looked to kit a Kenton Bomb. Kane rolled out of the way and stood up. He grabbed Kennedy by the throat, Choke slam. Kane went for the cover 1……2……3

So at the Royal Rumble their will be a match to decide who will the General Manager of Wednesday Night Showdown, until he returns. It will be between William Regal and Matt Striker. But that’s not the only thing that I am going to announce tonight. All Royal Rumble Qualifiers will be participated by either debuting superstars or returning superstars. Matches included tonight will be Eddie Colón and Hade Vansen vs. Kevin Thorn and Mike Knox also the next match Snitsky vs. Paul Burchill.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and the winner will gain a spot in the Royal Rumble match, introducing first returning from injury Paul Burchill.

The crowd cheered as Burchill made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: And introducing his opponent Snitsky.

The crowd booed as Snitsky made his way down to the ring. Chad Patton signalled for the start of the match. Burchill ran at Snitsky and delivered punch after punch, but Snitsky just stood there. Burchill then looked to kick out Snitsky’s knees. Snitsky eventually fell to his knees, and Burchill delivered a DDT. Snitsky was down and Burchill decided to hit a standing Shooting Star Press. Two loud screams are heard backstage and as the camera goes backstage, Hade Vansen is seen through a broken table whilst Shannon Moore is laid out next to a smashed in steel chair.

JR: What on earth is this we need some medics back there quick.

All of a sudden Ric Flair appears and rushes to the aid of Shannon, the doctors arrive on the scene but it does not look good. Foley rushes in and sees Eddie Colón, he talks to Eddie.

Foley: Well it looks like you are going to have to find a new partner for your match tonight as I don’t know if Hade will be able to compete.

Colón: Are you serious, that’s not cool; who am I going to get.

All of a sudden Carlito appears next to his cousin.

Colón: Yo bro, what are you doing here.

Carlito: I came to check on you, when I heard that a newbie was taken out, I thought that it was you as you always have an uncool temper.

Colón: Can you help me man I’ve got a match up later tonight for a spot in the Rumble can you be my partner.

Carlito: Sure man, Carlito and Eddie, could it be the Colón brothers in the WWE taken it all on.

Foley: Flair, Ric, well it looks like Shannon won’t be able to compete tonight your team will have to find someone to replace him.

Flair: Who ever did this is going to pay, you’re leaving me with a tough task finding someone to represent us tonight.

The crowd cheered as HBK made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: And introducing his opponent the Animal, Batista.

The crowd gave him a mixed reaction as he made his way down to the ring. Micky Henson signalled for the start of the match. HBK hits a wicked chop that echoes through the building. Batista is sent running across the ring and HBK delivers a back suplex. HBK goes for a body splash off the top rope but he only gets knees. Batista picks up HBK and delivers a head butt. Batista whips HBK into the turnbuckles and a massive Clothesline follows. Batista picks up HBK and delivers a scoop slam Shawn Michaels is down and hurt cover 1…...2….. HBK kicks out in the knick of time. HBK blocks the suplex attempt and sends Batista up for a back suplex. Batista body slams Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels runs across the ring and hits a flying elbow and kip up. Shawn Michaels looks to lock in the sharpshooter. Batista is in trouble as he is in the centre of the ring. HBK then delivers an elbow to the back of Batista. Batista gets back up and delivers a thunderous right hand to HBK. King: Carlito has already competed in a Royal Rumble but what an experience it will be for Eddie Colón this Sunday.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall introducing first King Booker.

The crowd booed violently as the King made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: And introducing his opponent he is the WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley.

The crowd cheered as Lashley hit the ring. Mike Chiodo signalled the start of the match.
Booker receives some punishment. Running knee lift from Bobby Lashley. Booker counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. King Booker with a spinning neckbreaker on Lashley. Lashley takes a head butt from King Booker. Big clothesline on Lashley. Lashley powers out of a headlock. Bobby Lashley hits a bulldog off the ropes. King Booker is in trouble. Booker receives some punishment. Big clothesline on Booker. Hooks the leg 1....2....shoulder up. King Booker ducks a clothesline attempt. Booker slams Bobby Lashley down. Lashley takes a head butt from King Booker. Big clothesline on Lashley. Lashley powers out of a headlock. Booker walks into a scoop slam. King Booker can barely stand. Spear! 1....2....3.

Lillian: Here is your winner the WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley.

Lashley celebrated his victory and walked around the ring with the title held over his shoulder.

JR: Well that was a good match for Lashley tonight going into the Rumble on Sunday.

King: Well it is sure going to be a great night of entertainment.

JR: Well look at the matches we have, Torrie Wilson challenging Melina for the Women’s Championship.

King: that’s sure to be a great match but what about the tag team gauntlet match between London and Kendrick, Cryme Tyme, Deuce ‘n’ Domino, Cade and Murdoch, Gregory Helms and Jamie Noble all vying for the titles in which Cody Rhodes and Sean Spears hold, that’s sure to be a great match.

JR: And we have a match announced this evening that Matt Striker and William Regal will battle each other for the care taker general manager of Wednesday Night Showdown.

King: Don’t forget about the Cruiserweight title match between The Miz, Charlie Haas, Funaki, Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore, but the thing is will Shannon Moore be able to compete in this match after he was taken out earlier tonight by some unknown person.

JR: The WWE Title will be on the line with Bobby Lashley defending it against either the Great Khali or Triple H; his opponent will be decided in tonight’s main event.

King: And the main event, 30 men will enter the ring one man will be left standing in the centre who will it be, the Royal Rumble match will decide that. Competitors like, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Batista, Edge, Randy Orton and the list goes on.

JR: Don’t forget the opportunity there is for two young kids, Eddie Colón and Colt Cabana, in only their second match in the WWE they will be competing in the Royal Rumble. Well these thirty superstars are in for the fight of their life

King: Don’t you mean thirty – one JR, due to the fact that Triple H or the Great Khali is going to drop out of the match.

JR: Sorry you’re right.

Triple H is seen backstage warming up and about to make his way down to the ring.

JR: Welcome back we are now going to have the main event, the number one contender for the WWE Title. Triple H vs. The Great Khali.

Lillian: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a round 4 match in the WWE Title Match in the Number One Contender Tournament. Introducing first, the Game, Triple H.

The crowd cheered as he made his way down to the ring.

Lillian: And introducing his opponent, the Great Khali.

The crowd booed as the giant made his way down the ramp and stepped over the top rope. Charles Robinson signalled for the start of the match. Khali started the match out with a chop to the back of the Game knocking him down. Khali put the game in a headlock. The Game fought of it but was eventually given a military press by Khali and dropped onto Khali’s knee; that would hurt from that height. Khali picked up the Game again and delivered another chop to the back of the game. Khali picked up the Game and drove him into the turnbuckle. The Game started to mount some offence with a few punches and an arm twist. The Game chopped Khali and looked to lift him up but Khali was too heavy and the Game was back body dropped. The Game thumbed Khali in the eye which was followed by a DDT. Khali stood up and arm tossed the Game across the ring. Khali then delivered a Giant Head Butt to the Game knocking him down again. The Game tried to pick Khali up again but it did not work. Khali again drove the Game into the turnbuckle knocking the wind out of him. The Game stood up and delivered a deafly chop that knocked Khali to his feet. The Game decided to punch Khali in the face repeatedly and he followed this up with a leg drop. The Game then snapmared Khali back down to the mat. Khali was again taken down by an arm twist. The Game saw an opening and undid the padding on the turnbuckle. Robinson went over to fix it and as he did this the Game knocked Khali into the ref knocking him out. The Game rolled to the outside and looked for the great equaliser, his trusty sledge hammer. The crowd cheered at the site. Khali had gotten back to his feet and looked to grab the Game through the ropes but the Game struck him right in the head. Khali stammered back but he didn’t fall the Game rolled back into the ring and struck in the stomach with the sledge hammer, then he went straight over his head. The hammer broke on impact but Khali still had not fallen. The Game tossed it out of the ring as Mickie Henson ran down the ramp to continue the match, the Game wanted to finish it off quickly and he looked to hit the Pedigree. He did, the top ring rope snapped off the close turnbuckle as Khali hit the mat. The Game went for the cover 1……2…...3

Lillian: Here is your winner and the number one contender for the WWE Title, the Game Triple H.

JR: What an experience that was for the Game.

King: He had to go through three former World Heavyweight Champions and one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time to earn this shot at the title.

Jr: Well he earns his shot against Lashley on Sunday.

All of a sudden Lashley appeared on the stage holding his WWE title high, Triple H signalled that he was going to be the next champion as Showdown went off the air.

JR: Tune in on Sunday for the Pay Per View Of the Year Royal Rumble.
