Someone I nominated this year that I don't think anyone else did was Terry Funk. The dude had such a long and prolific career that basically no matter what era or style you're a fan of, Funk was more than likely present. Hopefully some other will join me on the Funk train next year.

Because I'm an asshole and like to be a historian. Lots of these guys are important to the business in some fashion but doubtful they'll ever get in.
Add El Santo and Blue Demon from Mexico and Frank Gotch, Georg Hackenschmidt, Joe Stecher, Ed Lewis and Jim Londos for the pre-WWII-era.

I mean I was born in 1998 so everyone is before my time lol. I’m basing my picks on historical importance not on personal preference. Andre is arguably the most important big man of all time. He became an attraction bigger than wrestling. Back in the days when wrestling was still territorial, people would come just to see Andre. After WWE started buying up territories, Andre’s match with Hogan was one of the most important matches of the 80’s wrestling boom. Other than his attraction status, he was a great wrestler in his prime. So yeah Andre is a no brainer for me.

As for Dusty Rhodes I’m pretty sure he’s gonna get in next round.

Vince McMahon, Patt Patterson, Kevin Dunn and Dick Ebersole deserve credit for starting the 80s boom too.

He's a 4298634296 time 24/7 champ......the stats should make him a no-brainer.
