Just overall really confused by today's lack of trades.

Josh Smith probably will not resign with ATL so they get absolutely nothing for him.

Millsap/Jefferson - I can see one of them resigning but not both. So they get absolutely nothing.

Teams trying to make plays for Dwight. You're fucking blind if you don't think he's gonna resign with LA.

One part of that was Kobe basically talking straight to Dwight in front of the city of LA, saying this is the Lakers, this is what Buss created, this is greatness and the best franchise there is ... Embrace it! Youre nuts if you think he leaves 30mil from the Lakers and 50mil from Adidas that he gets for being in la or ny on the table. He can't even sign or be signed and traded to Brooklyn.

I do think the Jazz let both walk and they are Dallas/Houston bound. As for Josh, I've always thought he would sign with the Suns as they are closest ones to maxing him out

Don't get me wrong, if he's willing to lose that money from his bird rights and Addidas, he's a bigger man than I thought, I just highly doubt it, after he opted in last year to avoid losing cash via free agency that summer when BK had cap space.

Only way Josh stays in ATL is if he somehow convinced Dwight to sign there too which is pretty unlikely despite both being ATL natives. Otherwise the bucks or Suns are going to give him the max. Something that ATL doesn't seem to want to do so idk why they didn't try to move him asap.

The Utah situation totally confused me because you have to move one of them esp Milsap since you got a possible All Star caliber player waiting to be unleashed in Favors. I actually think they will lose both guys (Al goes back to Boston, Milsap goes to the Nets are my predictions) which will make them look even worse.

The Dwight situation as much as it makes business sense for Dwight it has been made painfully obvious that he isn't built for the pressure that being a Lakers center brings and doesn't enjoy being there. So it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him bolt from L.A.
