Yes, the first 4 seasons.

Then the 5th loosely I guess. It started out as a game show season and then morphed into the regular NXT.

As one of the 5 people that actually watched the 5th season...it was so weird but this is basically right lmao started as a normal game show thing, then just never ended and all the "rookies" ended up actually going to the main roster anyway and it was just lower card main roster guys fighting, most of which kept it up when it became the modern incarnation as the recognizable ones along with the influx of FCW guys. Like Michael McGillicutty and Tyson Kidd were having a banger of a feud on NXT season 5 and they let that main event the first episode of the current run in 2012 or so, I thought that was cool and a nice reward for those two guys for making some good shit on a show no one watched.
