Announcement WrestlingSmarks Interactive: Best SummerSlam Tournament

Summer is upon us, and the WWE's biggest party of the Summer will be happening in a little less than two months. It's a perfect time for us at WrestlingSmarks to decide upon the best SummerSlams. Debuting in 1988, SummerSlam has long been viewed as WWE's second biggest PPV and even seen as better than WrestleMania to some fans. There have been 32 SummerSlams in all, but don't worry if you don't remember them all as for nominations I'm accepting a MINIMUM of 10 entries ranked! So this means you can just list your top 10 or 20 SummerSlams without having to list them all. Seeding will work as follows:

1. Your lowest ranked entry will receive 1 point
2. Entries will receive 1 extra point than the one before it until the top of your list is reached
3. If you submit 10 entries your top seeded entry will receive 10 points
4. If you submit all 32 SummerSlams ranked then your top seeded entry will receive 32 points

So there is a benefit to listing them all as far as seeding goes, but it's optional as long as you at least send in your top 10 SummerSlam PPVs. Nominations will be left open until Friday, July 10th at 11:59 Eastern Time! So make sure to PM me your list soon unless you would like to be badgered come late next week.​

I might do that. Make sure to put ones I know I like at the top. Then fill out the rest with others.

Just look at the cards. You should be able to jog some of your memory and then use judgment calls on the cards on paper.

I would say the peak Slam years were the early 90's to early 00s. Will be interesting to see how well the very early cards or most recent cards do? My early prediction is 2002 to win.

I have enough in for decent seeding. and since there's exactly 32 SummerSlams, you don't have to worry about any being left out, but if you want to be sure your favorites get a higher seed then be sure you get your list in! The official deadline is midnight Eastern time tonight, but I'll posting the bracket tomorrow so I MIGHT accept some late lists...send after midnight at your own risk though.
