I'd def rank both Us and Get Out over Happy Death Day but Get Out is in another tier easily. Us and Happy Death Day were both fairly enjoyable but still had minor complaints for me. Good for most modern horror standards for sure though

Their different type of movies though. I agree that Us and Get Out are game changers, but Happy Death Day is a more charming, entertaining movie. Its also a clever concept using the Groundhog Day formula but applying it to a slasher. I really enjoyed the sequel too. Like the idea that if there's a third film they could do another genre.

Yeah Get Out and Us was great watches. I still remember the Sunken Place Scene I nearly fainted because I always had dreams that felt like you were out of your body and you can't get back in. At least that was the case for me over the years. I hope we get a sequel to US or Get Out because the society doing all these things can be explored further and I swear Peele just needs to tell me Lovecraft Country is beginning to all that stuff in those two films already.

Not sure why it's necessary to compare Happy Death Day with Us or Get Out considering they're a different style of horror movie.

Guessed the twist for Us right away.
But still another great effort from Jordan Peele.

And the actress who plays Tree in Happy Death Day is very tasty.
Wasn't fond of the sequel though.

Finally getting in Evil Dead 2 and I can see why people adore it. I had to remember oh this is a recon of the first film because where was Ash's friends oh wait the others don't matter just his true love. I do find it funny these Demonic possessions are coming so easily. Like I know my stuff with this Demonic entities usually like to play with their food before finally possessing them, but we don't have all that time. 40 mins in and I'm really impressed too with the Makeup and the Special Effects to boot.

20 Minutes into Army of Darkness and Ash runs the Medieval period with a Chainsaw and Shotgun. You gotta love it!

I can totally see why Army of Darkness is beloved because of all that fun I had watching this film. It just might my fav of the three HAIL TO THE KING BABY!
