that rock match can still happen at SummerSlam or survivor series or if they really wanna do the long game the rock always harps about next year‘s main event of wrestlemania.

Imagine if this was all a ploy by rock/cody and come wrestlemania solo/jimmy/rock are all in romans corner and the ref gets knocked down and solo/jimmy go to attack cody but rock makes the save and cody gets the win. then this sets up roman/rock for summerslam.

done and done.

this was basically overlooked(or hated) but this is how you book both matches effectively imo.

I like the idea of a tag match. Rock hasn't wrestled a full on match in literally 11 years. Without a lot of gaga like we got with Austin I don't know if he'd be able to go. Why would we expect him to be able to pull out a singles Mania Main Event match?

that's why i think they've waited too long. I think the original plan was to have the rock lose and make him seem like an unbeatable force but now he's close to losing his titles and most likely being done. he wins or loses and retires its like so what.
