Can we stop talking about the record? That Roman can’t break anyways because he didn’t win the actual WWE championship until two years into his universal reign. The universal title he already has the record of. He can’t break the other one unless he holds the belt another like four years. Let’s stop talking about it please.

I'm not a fan of how in the span of a week the rock went from wanting to beat roman's ass to being his pal. doesn't really make sense even if they are family.

Quick question. When did he say he was gonna beat Romans ass? On TV all he did was enter the ring and stare him down. Staredowns lead to hugs too.

So I think it's fair to say this was an OVERWHELMING success for WWE.

a few THOUSAND people show up for the event, at the site of the largest TV event of the year, where your principles spent all day doing media.

I hope they do this every year.

Fans forced them to fix the problem they made to start with, guess if they wanna take that as a win.

I can see why that might happen to further the rock and Roman story, but surely they ain’t that dumb.

I think rock accidentally costs Roman the belt and that leads to the match they want to do afterwards.

I'd prefer for cody to win clean but I could see that happening.

I would have also just preferred them to have cody say he knows they are in cahoots and the rock was going to lay down for roman to preserve his legacy or something.

People forget that its the Universal title that has the years long record and not the WWE title itself. They still count the belts seperately.

it was the best possible pivot back they could do. I have my criticisms of the event (I felt it was pretty damn boring myself for 99% of the time). But as far as course correction story wise - well done

Like I said earlier, it does make Cody look a little weird for that one line he said on Friday about not challenging him at wrestlemania, but I could give two shits. Just call it psychological warfare and got Roman’s hope up that he was going to get to face his cousin, or whatever.
