Backstory
The year is 2010, and the pro-wrestling as was previously known has changed forever in the last couple of months. In the autumn of 2009 the National Wrestling Alliance was bought out right by a partnership of two unknown individuals. Zack King a former stock broker in Wall Street who made his millions via private investments in China during periods of their heavy industrial growth and Richard Glock the former husband of an Oil Traders Daughter who took a share of the oil profits as a divorce settlement. However, the NWA remained very much small scale as business was carried on as usual by NWA promoters on a small budget level with the realization of the problems of the recession.

In early February Total Nonstop Action wrestling faced some serious problems and was looking for new investors and possibly new owners to ensure the companies survival. Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarret both put their percentage of the business on the line in a desperate bid to keep the company they had built up alive. After weeks without any bids being made, it seemed that the company was going to go under as little to no money was coming into the company in terms of inflows. In what seemed the eleventh hour the NWA stepped forward and bought the complete rights for TNA, only years after TNA had decided to go separate way.

In late March, the WWE claimed for bankruptcy which was a great shock not only to the sports community but to a large amount of American investors. It seemed that the debt that company was in was so immense, that the damage caused by Vince McMahon and his board was irreversible. As the WWE was liquidized a large proportion of wrestlers found themselves out of work and without a job.

Days later, the National Wrestling Alliances’ new owners announced that the NWA had become out of date and belonged to an era of wrestling that was long since dead and the group would be know referred to as the World Wrestling Alliance. It later became apparent, that TNA no longer had a place in the WWA’s long-term plans.

A press release stated that the WWA would have two shows a week Thunder on Tuesdays and Havoc on Fridays. It soon became evident that Zack King would take the reigns in terms of ownership of Havoc and Glock of Thunder. On the 17th of April it was announced the roster would be done by a draft, with talent either being siphoned from the current NWA/TNA roster or from the free agents that had been made redundant from the WWE bankruptcy or those still in the Indies. Stephanie McMahon was announced to be leader Thunder as the General Manager, whilst her brother was picked to manage Havoc. Almost as if WWA were playing a sick joke at VKM’s expense.

Looks great, and the backstory seems detailed, but that usually doesn't matter about a btb anyways. Hopefully you establish tag teams for me, cause i'm a little stupid. :D

Good luck.

Isn't this your 3rd BTB in 2 weeks. There are rules, even though nobody is here to enforce them. Abide by them and you will be respected more as a member. Other than that, it looks rushed and organized badly, as you only put up one roster and gave us people's spots on the card.

You haven't drawn me in to wanting to read, but let's see if show 1 can change that.
