THE STORY
---------------------
With TNA and WWE working hard to give the wrestling world what they want there was someone that wanted to over take it all. His name is Donald Trump, and he bought the rights to the WCW name through Vince McMahon for a hefty price. Donald Trump stated that it was time for him to take down the Global Juggernaut that is WWE and the trailing competition in TNA. Obviously Donald Trump doing this out of greed has decided to hand the reigns to someone else to see the day to day business and has giving him an unlimited supply of money to run the company in the best possible direction to compete with WWE.

Right away Donald Trump went out on got a prime time slot to face WWE on an equally competitive network. From there he picked who he wanted to run his company, with that chose two men, the first being the former owner of Extreme Championship Wrestling, or for short ECW. The second man Donald Trump decided to choose was a man that's been in the business for years and has been retired for sometime, that man is Lance Storm. Both men have huge knowledge of the business and drive to succeed, and quickly World Championship Wrestling Version 2 is the biggest talk of the wrestling world. With Donald Trump giving both men an endless supply of money to put together the best possible roster, anything is possible and anyone is possible. Wrestlers from all over the world and different companies have been showing interest and the world can't wait to see the continued updates of the company.

UPDATE 1

Shortly after Donald Trump gave Paul Heyman and Lance Storm the power to run the new World Championship Wrestling, instantly they have been scouting for the perfect talent from both the WWE and the TNA roster. They have just recently come to the agreement on the first 11 superstars to come aboard for the new promotion that is spreading through the wrestling world like wildfire, after contacting all their choices and either hiring them or buying them out of their current contracts we now have word on who they have chosen.

Chris Jericho

Fresh off of his appearance on Dancing with the Stars the wrestling world wondered if Chris Jericho would ever return to the ring... After many statements to the wrestling community that he was truly done with wrestling, Paul Heyman and Lance Storm sat him down and inspired him to come back to the wrestling world and deliver the best matches possible.

Austin Aries

Austin Aries was another superstar at the top of their list and was the current TNA X-Division Champion. When approached he was hesitant at first as he has a big role in TNA, but when they gave him an offer it was something he couldn't deny. He told Dixie Carter about his departure and signed a contract immediately and is said to be very excited to join the revamped WCW.

Dolph Ziggler

They decided after the blow Austin Aries was to TNA, they decided to give Dolph Ziggler an offer to join the new WCW. Being the current WWF United States Champion, Vince McMahon is said to be furious as he was the one that originally sold the WCW name to Donald Trump in the first place. Paul Heyman and Lance Storm have both stated that Dolph Ziggler is only the beginning of who they intend to acquire from the WWE.

Colt Cabana

The man that has been praised throughout the wrestling world by everyone including the current WWE Champion CM Punk, he was working with Ring of Honor when Lance Storm and Paul Heyman contacted him. Colt Cabana, while not the most charismatic superstar, he is known to deliver with the best in the world.

James Storm

"Cowboy" James Storm is yet another huge blow to TNA, recently showing a bit of disdain for his short lived TNA World title run, Paul Heyman and Lance Storm were said to promise he'll get the respect he deserves. One half of the former and popular Beer Money, James Storm is a huge addition to the new WCW, some has to wonder if his former partner Robert Roode well follow soon.

Big Show

WWE gets it's second strike as Big Show was offered a huge contract and deal to switch over to WCW, he is said to be excited to start a new path in his career. Big Show is aware his career isn't going to go on forever, so he can't wait to start for WCW. The man that Ric Flair claimed to be the best big man in the wrestling world could very well add quite a lot to WCW.

David Hart Smith

A legacy that was spat on Vince McMahon and let ago not to long ago from the WWE, he was said to be heading into the MMA when Lance Storm phoned him and said he was someone that WCW couldn't live without. DH Smith was promised that the Hart Legacy would be truly honored and not stomped all over.

Tyson Kidd

Lance Storm and Paul Heyman said that they couldn't have David Hart Smith without his former partner Tyson Kidd who is another superstar that has been walked on by Vince McMahon and the WWE in a whole. Tyson Kidd at first didn't want to leave his wife Natalya Hart in WWE but truly believed he could be a lot more if he makes the jump.

Jushin "Thunder" Liger

Expanding their horizons they've decided to head to the orient and attack New Japan Pro Wrestling by contracting this superstar. Jushin Liger is just past forty but is said to be wrestling as good as he was in his early twenties, this addition is said to add huge things to the new WCW.

The Briscoe Brothers
(Jay and Mark Briscoe)

Arguably one of the best tag teams in wrestling today, they had recently been wrestling for Ring of Honor, but Lance Storm had said to say that WCW wouldn't be the same without an amazing tag team division. Both Briscoe's were said to be excited about the opportunity and the new competition that comes with it.

Update 2
--------------
Shortly after the recent eleven signings to the revamped WCW, the wrestling world has been wondering who else is going to be added to this already stacked roster. The wait is no more as Paul Heyman and Lance Storm have just announced that they have come to terms on 8 more signings to the WCW roster. They have continued to sit down and give it all a lot of thought, they've announced that with these other eight signings that there is going to be two more batches of signings before the first ever Monday Night Nitro is kick started.

Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin
(World's Greatest Tag Team)

Arguably one of the best tag teams, once a huge part of the WWE's tag team division they both went into singles and never achieved much after that, until they moved over to Ring of Honor and joined forces once again. Another huge blow to the lesser competition as both Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin cam to the agreement to jump ship and head over to World Championship Wrestling. These two are no doubt going to add to the tag team division in WCW.

Brodus Clay

Still quite green, Brodus Clay was set for a big push in WWE but Paul Heyman and Lance Storm have stopped that by signing this young big man to a contract right away. It is said that Lance Storm and Paul Heyman have faith in this up and comer and believe he could add a lot if given the right direction. Brodus Clay has stated that he can't be happier and can't wait to see what WCW has in store.

Jim Cornette

One of the greatest minds and managers in the business Jim Cornette has jumped over to WCW. It is said that he'll be managing one or more wrestlers, no word as of yet who his client/s well be, but he has promised that whoever it is they are going to be at the top.

Natalya Neidhart

No word yet on whether or not World Championship Wrestling is going to have a female division, but either way WCW is going to have the addition of Natalya Neidhart. Even though she was currently a top draw over at WWE, she was said to not want to be apart from her husband Tyson Kidd. WCW has now acquired any Hart member from WWE, a big move from Paul Heyman and Lance Storm.

Robert Roode

When we first got wind of James Storm signing with WCW many wrestling fans asked the question of whether Roode would be signing sooner or later. The question has been answered and Robert Roode has now officially signed with World Championship Wrestling. Probably the biggest blow to TNA, they are now without an X-Division Champion and now their biggest blow a World Champion.

Petey Williams

Former TNA superstar, was let go with the whole wrestling world wondering why? He is a phenomenal light weight and is amazing to watch in the ring. Lance Storm especially pushed for this as he said he see's big things in this young mans future. WCW has been scooping up a lot of Canadian wrestlers, the question is, what other Canadians are on their way over?

The Miz

He's the self proclaimed most must see WWE Champion of all time and he has now joined up with WCW. The Miz is a great addition and another low blow to the WWE where he was one of their major players. The Miz has stated he is happy to get away from the WWE and join up with World Championship Wrestling, it allows him to prove that he is the best no matter where he goes.

There ya go, another eight superstars added to the already eleven deep roster. Now WCW has acquired 18 new superstars, and the question remains.. Who's next?

Update 3

We previously stated that Paul Heyman and Lance Storm would come out with two more updates before the first ever WCW Monday Night Nitro, but wait no more for the first as we've got the details right now. We also have been told that Paul Heyman and Lance Storm have released that there is indeed going to be a female division, whether or not it gets kicked off right away is something we do not know yet. They have also mentioned that they've come to terms on the Championships. They've said they want to keep it vintage and have the WCW World Championship, WCW United States Championship, WCW Television Championship and the WCW Tag Team Championship. We've been told that while they do intend to have somewhat of a female division, as of right now there is going to be no title. With the current roster already being stacked the wrestling world wants to know who else is going to join up with the new WCW. We know for sure that we are to expect 7 more addition to the roster, but the big question is who?

Michelle McCool

While we know for sure that The Undertaker is said to have promised to stay true to Vince McMahon, the same can't be said about his real life girl friend Michelle McCool. Recently "retiring" from the ring, McCool's contract and no compete clause is well over and apparently she's been given the right offer to jump over to WCW and join the competition. When approached Michelle McCool was said to be hesitant at the first, but when she was given the nod from Mark (Undertaker) Calloway to do what she wants, she immediately signed up.

Cody Rhodes

He was the current WWE Intercontinental Champion over on Smackdown, but now he is a full fledged member of the revamped WCW. He is said to be very excited as is Paul Heyman and Lance Storm for Rhodes' arrival. Cody Rhodes was a big part of the now defunct Legacy stable and has quickly moved his name to the top in the world, he stated that WCW should expect the best Cody Rhodes they've ever seen. When his father was asked about his opinion, he stated he couldn't be happier and that his son has joined a roster of the elite.

Joe Hennig

The son of Mr. Perfect, Joe Hennig was working on Monday Night Raw for the WWE, he's currently been wrestling under the ridiculous name of Michael Migillicutty. Fan's all over the world were annoyed by the way the young son of Mr. Perfect was being treated, including Paul Heyman and Lance Storm. Joe Hennig stated that he was praying and hoping to get contacted by Paul Heyman and Lance Storm and that he had his mind made up from the beginning to jump over to WCW if offered.

Carlito Caribbean Cool

Carlito Caribbean Cool, or Carlito for short was at first a big name in WWE right from the start, stories erupted of the young man being pushed in a fashion much like the Rock. Something happened and WWE decided against that idea, Carlito spent his time frustrated in the midcard of WWE and never being used properly. Carlito is said to be clean from the pain killers and has been training for a big debut someday, and that day is going to be the first ever WCW Monday Night Nitro.

Justin Gabriel

Justin Gabriel debuted huge on the wrestling scene after appearing on NXT, he debuted along with all the original NXT cast forming Nexus, the toughest stable since the nWo. He caught the eyes of many with his fast pace and big 450 splash and had quite a tag team with Heath Slater. Once they split as a tag team, Justin Gabriel seemed to fade away and barely be used. Paul Heyman and Lance Storm are said to be very high on him and to expect big things.

Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero

The Kings of Wrestling, arguably one of the best tag teams that were on the independent scene until recently when Claudio Castagnoli was signed to a developmental contract with the WWE, but now the Kings of Wrestling have agreed to reform in WCW, they have stated that they intend to take over the tag team division. With so many great tag teams joined up with WCW, what kind of excitement is there in store for us?

Boom people, that's the third update that we have so far, we have been told the fourth and final update on the roster is going to be the biggest yet and the first show is going to be announced on the next update. So much happening here, we can't wait to see who else is going to join this already stacked roster.

Final Update

The time has finally come people, we have for you the final 12 superstars to have signed with WCW, this marks the end of the updates and a preview of the first episode on Monday Night Nitro. This update also contains the commentators. Paul Heyman and Lance Storm have really set the bar high with this final batch of superstars, with a roster like this it is hard to believe them not beating WWE or TNA in ratings.

Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross

WCW has their announce team and boy is this another huge blow to WWE, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross have joined the ranks of WCW. Both are arguably two of the best ringside commentators in wrestling, they've sat next to each other at the announce table for over a decade, no doubt these two know what they're doing when they are behind the desk.

Kazarian

TNA gets another blow as Kazarian has jumped over to WCW, he has proven himself to be a formidable opponent to nearly anyone. What is in store for this superstar? With his pals from Fortune, could we see a possible alliance or is Kazarian going to go solo once again. He is said to be very excited to be a part of the new World Championship Wrestling.

CM Punk

Vince McMahon is said to be furious when he heard his WWE Champion had put in his notice and jumped over to the competition. CM Punk, while said to have been happy with his current position in WWE, knowing that his good friend Colt Cabana and his girl friend Beth Pheonix were going to WCW, he said he would give up the WWE title anyday to join up where people get appreciated.

Daffney

The Queen of Extreme, she had come back onto the scene in TNA proving that she is still the real deal in the ring, TNA let her go and she went back to SHIMMER wrestling promotion, that was until she was offered a contract with WCW. Daffney is said to be intrigued with WCW and the female division which continues to get better and better.

Chavo Guerrero Jr.

After being humiliated and embarrassed by WWE, Paul Heyman and Lance Storm have promised to showcase Chavo Guerrero as a true Guerrero, not as a sideshow for quick laughs. Chavo Guerrero said he couldn't be happier to be joining an organization that wants to defeat the WWE. Chavo Guerrero is going to add a lot to the already stacked roster...

Giant Bernard and Tyson Tomko

Both men are menacing forces in the wrestling world, Giant Bernard better know to WWE fans as Albert has perfected his in ring abilities over in Japan, same goes with Tyson Tomko. These two were a dominant tag team in Japan, now joined up with WCW, these guys are no doubt going to add a lot to the tag team division in WCW.

Mark Henry

The final nail in the coffin to WWE as their World Heavyweight Champion has also defected to World Championship Wrestling. Mark Henry was a faithful WWE employee for over a decade and now sets his sights on new roads in WCW.

Trish Stratus

Another Canadian born superstar and arguably the most popular female wrestler in the late 90's and early 2000's. Trish Stratus has proven she's still got what it takes, we've also been told that she may be doing more than wrestling.

Angelina Love

One half of the former Beautiful People, and a Canadian born female superstar, Angelina Love has now joined with World Championship Wrestling. She has improved leaps and bounds since joining TNA, now she is ready for WCW.

James Mitchell

The sinister minister has joined up and is the final person to sign, James Mitchell managed the monster Abyss and put him on the map. One of the nuttiest managers in professional wrestling, James Mitchell has announced that he'll tell everyone on the debut show of WCW exactly who he intends to manage.
