He normally does anime and manga stuff, but let's be honest ... Wrestling is the greatest anime.
So hopefully this guy gets some love and you guys and gals enjoy his vid, because I know I did.

I actually enjoyed this video and agreed with the majority of what was said in it. The end part about the Golden Lovers pretty much sums up why I like professional wrestling in a nutshell.

Great video, I've liked the few Super Eyepatch Wolf videos I've seen before so I was definitely excited when I saw this, and it really delivered. Of course, partly because of little segments that seem tailored made to my interests, example the Rakugo segment (I love Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, anyone looking for a mature, multi-generational, and nuance human drama, look no further than Rakugo Shinjuu, one of the most explicitly made for adult anime that lacks explicit's) and far less niche and more relevant to this site, highlighting Asuka was great. But yeah, The Golden Lovers bit was the absolute highlight, makes me wish I was watching NJPW all this years. I also quite liked the in-ring analysis of Bret vs. Piper from Mania.

Wish Super Eyepatch Wolf did more videos on wrestling, so much wrestling content on youtube are comedic approaches (Wrestling with Wregret) or trivia lists (WhatCulture, Cultaholic), which is fine and all but I liked there to exist some level of analytical content too, since I'm more interested in that.

Not knowing hardly a thing about NJPW, other than it's Japanese and there's a guy named Kenny omega (learned that like a year ago or so) I had no idea of this golden lovers. Honestly when I read this thread I assumed it was about a man and woman. Then I saw this video. That's great. Thanks for sharing this. It has many reasons why people love wrestling so much... and they're true. It just gets clouded by shitty storylines and writing sometimes.
