Hogan was the Champion Brother in January from 1988. Pretty sure he was feuding with Andre and Dibiase at that time and wasn't their going to be a Title change soon? Flair was the NWA Champion that same Year and he was rocking in rolling pretty sure going to be a program with Barry Windham and soon with Steamboat and Funk!
Hogan, no surprise. Would lose it to Warrior at WM 6 a few months later though.
