I'm going to go with Bischoff here. He did have luck on his side, but he did take the gamble and shut down road shows and go to Disney. He also took a gamble on Hulk Hogan, and eventually that paid off. Him "Stealing" I mean borrowing that idea from Japan for the NWO too was a brilliant move for awhile. I don't deny ECW obviously influenced WWE and WCW, but Bischoff forced WWE to step up their game.

This is tough as hell and I gotta say to me it’s a toss up for better or worse they both did so much much.

Bischoff.....he created the concept of weekly live TV, the push towards the 18-41 demo, the Powerplant being the precursor to the PC, the nWo....All still being used to this very day.

Heyman booked violence, tits and ass and never ever got close to having their product breath any of the same air as WCW/WWF were.

And none of his concepts can even be used, let alone would still be used today.

Bischoff round 1 tko

Yeah Bischoff was very ahead of his time and def better as a broad scope guy.

I think Heyman is a fine singular show booker, great at it even. And bischoff probably isn't as good at that minor stuff but Bischoff's visions for the business were something else

Yeah I think Bischoff talks out of his ass when he even tries to talk about anything booking wise.

I'd say the same when Heyman tries to talk about anything in the business other than booking tbf :lol

I think both are great for the business historically tho just for different reasons. Heyman for instance has always been a better on screen character too even if Bischoff got better and better throughout his career at that aspect too

Booking angles are a dime a dozen tbh, the overall concepts that are still used today are what should really matter imo.

Oh and he also introduced the business to guaranteed contracts for all performers.....a little concept that Heyman obviously never employed :lol

I got to give the small edge here to Bischoff.

It isn't by much, but if you look at some of the stuff WWE does now, Eric did it first. Eric took WCW to 2 hours before Vince did with WWF. Same with 3 hours(both shows by the way in my hometown when they went to doing it full time). Pretty sure the whole heel boss thing Eric did first(maybe it was done some other company some place, but I'm 99% sure Eric at least did it before Vince, and many other companies who do it now).

So tough but I would say Heyman because the guy was doing everything pretty much on his own. He never trusted enough people to help him out and when I think about the Attitude Era he was one of the guys pushing the envelope and trying new things that wasn't the normal. Eazy B had a great eye for talent like Heyman he could see Dollar signs in a talent but over time that dude's head got bigger than any guy I've seen in Wrestling at this point.
