But really we should get to see Cena vs the mcmahons one day, it's been way too long for them holding off on that
THIS! ABSOLUTELY THIS!

The other night, Stephanie did the best job of probably anyone in making Cena look like an actual face. It started off with people booing him, but at the end of the segment, Cena legitimately had 100% of the crowd. The McMahon/H group might be the only people who could help unify the people behind Cena, and hopefully start him OUT of the BS promos he cuts with the childish quips.

McMahons vs. Cena might be interesting, they've tried little subtle variations of it in the past years but never fully went into it. My own concern if they did that would be... who would he face in the ring? I mean there's Triple H... but that's kinda been done and he's currently involved with Ambrose and Reigns. Also, I'm not sure a McMahon feud would necessarily have the same weight it used to years ago.

I would be up for a full-on Cena VS. Mcmahon(s) feud on two conditions. Firstly than a younger guy was involved (Rollins for example) to get the rub, and also than it led to the long overdue Cena heel turn. Yes I know never going to happen right, but I think this would be the perfect feud to do it in at the conclusion. In fact I have an idea in mind...

To be honest I am thinking of putting it all together for the booking section, but if I don't will stick it here.

Ok cool

Rollins turn and subsequent freak outs from twitter marks and so called experts, make me think a Cena turn would be as big of a fan turnoff as the the Streak being ended.

It takes a certain kind of character to make a good heel. I haven't seen anything from him yet that would allow me to think he could pull it off. In fact, playing a single character for 15 years without so much as a tweak would make me think the opposite.

You mean he is still a white rapper in throwback jerseys and steel chains who cuts a freestyle before matches still? Huh, and here I thought he was just the WWEs white knight who gives gives people nice messages like "don't give up" and things of that nature.

Guess tweaks mean he should say sports teams suck and every town they run in sucks. How he is better than everybody, instead of that guy who proves he is better than his peers in the ring.

Also, I find it find it hilarious how people who claim to hate the character pop the most if he swears during a promo, or when he addresses their criticism.

^Post it again why don't you!8D

Anyway Cena was a good heel during his rap phase. But clearly he would have to go in a different direction now.

Without giving too much away his heel turn would be quite easy because they could just play off a lot of insider stuff which fans already think of him. It wouldn't actually take that much of a difference in his acting (which is lucky). I have quite an detailed idea which I will try and post later.

It's so easy to play a heel though, that's why everyone always likes them more than faces. It's a lot easier to get people to hate you than it is to get them to like you. And your "Playing the same character" argument, um Hogan? That's exactly who the heel turn would be compared to anyway.

Cea already done promos where he addressed the neckbeards criticisms, he brought up "five moves of doom" and "playing up a heel persona" in that feud with Punk. And everyone said it was one of his best promos, like I said, IWC neckbeards are the first ones to pop if a wrestler addressed them. They also say they hate a guy, but even the guys who wear "We Hate Cena" shirts look like fanboys when he shows them on camera.

Turning Cena would do nothing but reverse the audience in the other direction. Smarks would be cheering him and kids would be heartbroken. And let's not forget all those kids whose wish it is to meet him. You think anyone in their right mind would potentially fuck that up and alienate those kids because some neckbeards want some "tweaks" on his character? I mean if ain't broke why try fix it? If the recipe is perfect, why add more salt?

Whether that's true or not isn't really my issue but if we go along with it being true then the creative / booking department really need to get to work because they are lacking top heels so badly right now that it's actually quite scary. The two top heels they have right now aren't even active performers in Trips & Steph then after that you're looking at Orton who's fallen off again the past few months and a newly turned Rollins.

It's something that JR always seems to mention and that's the heels don't seem to utilise heelish traits anymore or something along them lines, i'll post some of his quotes.

What traits must a top TV wrestling villain possess 2 motivate ticket buyers 2 invest in seeing villain get their ass whipped? Who gets it?

If pro wrestling villains rarely cheat, have abundant, redeeming social qualities, they're not villains. Stop BS'ing yourself.
— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) April 14, 2014

Pro wrestling villains must have rules to break. What're moves are illegal? Fewer & fewer. That fine gray line between goid/evil is a joke.
— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) April 14, 2014

"@miles_halverson: @JRsBBQ he has to be someone you love to hate. And what creates that emotion?
— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) April 14, 2014

"@David_Spiegel: @jrsbbq so you mean Cesaro?" What does Cesaro do to cheat, gain unfair advantages? Nothing of consequence. Same 4 Lesnar
— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) April 14, 2014

I'd estimate that half of today's TV wrestling heels aren't equipped ie guts & toughness to be great villains. Most had rather be cool.
— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) April 14, 2014

"@itsletsmakeout: @JRsBBQ so how do you feel about the Wyatt Family? dying to know #booking101" Cannot allow to become too cool.
— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) April 14, 2014

TV wrestling villains must lie, selectively be a coward, be a bully when they can, gain unfair advantages bitch & moan, & disrespect fans
