Every sport has a name that is synonymous with the sport. Basketball has Jordan, Hockey has Gretzky.

Who do you think is most synonymous with professional wrestling?

Hulk Hogan is the first one that comes to mind. Ask anyone under the age of 55 to name A wrestler and the majority will say Hogan. After him there's Austin, The Rock, Andre the Giant, Flair and probably Undertaker.

Yeah, it's definitely Hulk Hogan. Can't be anyone else.

I don't think it can be anyone other than Hogan. The next closest would be Flair or Rocky. That's all Brother.

Hogan as others have said. Guys like Rock and Austin are next in line but Hogan above everyone

I know long before I was a fan of wrestling and my brother watched it all the time, the first person I thought of when I heard pro wrestling...

Was Hulk Hogan.

And if I'm not mistaken, I think that'll be the first name that comes to the mind of 90% of commoner North Americans when they hear the words "professional wrestling".

We also have to remember that Hogan was also the only Pro wrestler to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.
