What Changes Would You Make to WWE if Any?

I’ve wanted to ask this for a while. As we all know, WWE are far and away the biggest wrestling company in the world. Some might even say a global phenomenon. However, they’re also a target of much criticism for not putting out a good product much of the time. They’ve been accused of everything including not having long term plans, only focusing on a handful of stars, start/stop pushes, limiting creativity, and just misusing much of their talent. Of course Vince McMahon is at the height of this controversy as he’s been accused of basically running WWE as a dictatorship where his ideas are all that matter and doesn’t really allow input from anyone and reportedly gives up on various superstars for no reason. All this being said, would you make any changes to WWE or leave things as they are?

- Get rid of Vince McMahon as CEO.

- Allow Wrestlers to Script their Own Promos

- Allow wrestlers to also wrestle their own style instead of the "WWE Style".

- Push people based on crowd reaction.

- Remove these Hollywood writers from creating storylines.

There's a few more, but I mean, come on, these are just a few basics that could really help.

Biggest change I think I'd make was just to give people a chance longer. Way too many guys get a decent TV push, don't get over right away for various reasons including their own and the companies, and then they're Main Event fodder for the rest of their career.

Like I'm not saying shove them down our throats, but like just give them a little more time to fail first and stop jumping to the next thing like a kid with ADHD :heston

I mean tbf some guys I dont mind them pushing that the audience dont want but you should push different people rather then the same 9 or 10 for 4 months either that or make another brand

Nuthin'. People online always act like they know how'd they fix WWE yet know nuthin' about runnin' a hot dog stand let alone a wrestlin' company.

My list:

1. Get rid of Vince McMahon.

2. Get rid of Kevin Dunn.

3. Hire a better production staff and main chief.

4. Give the superstars their entrance videos of highlights of their matches back.

5. Focus more on pushing the young talent since they are the future of WWE.

6. Redo the brand split.

7. Get rid of the scripted bullshit since that does nothing for them really. Just let them be themselves and cute passionate promos.

8. Have better storylines that are based on a sports aspects.

9. Get rid of the 50/50 formula in matches.

10. Higher the town's enhancement talent to job to the stars that are building up feuds.

11. Scrap the second woman's Championship and bring in a mid card belt for the mid carders to fight over for.

12. Bring back GM's for both brands.

13. Bring respect back into the tag division.

14. Push people that are doing things right and getting over organically.

15. Bring in people that actually care about the wrestling business as creative staff for the storylines. Fuck the Hollywood writers.

Point 1 - Yes.
Point 2 - Some of them. Some are better off being scripted because they're not good enough, to be blunt (Looking at guys like Riccochet here). But any scripted shit needs to be less cheesy.
Point 3 - Nah. WWE style is focused on mainstream fans and it does that well with its in-ring style. Remove the infinite roll-ups and the style itself is fine.
Point 4 - Mostly, yes. But more important is giving guys sufficient time to get over.
Point 5 - Don't mind creative storylines. But yes, recently they have been really cringey.

Mostly I'd like to see WWE pick guys that they're going to push as main event stars and give them strong, proper runs.
There just aren't nearly as many proper stars as years gone by, and many of the current stars are veterans (Randy, Edge, Rey, AJ, Bryan etc).
What they've done with Drew is great. Do the same with other guys - rather try to push guys into genuine main eventers and fail than half-heartedly push guys.
I'd look at guys like Bobby Lashley, Matt Riddle, Adam Cole (?), Andrade, Big E. Maybe others, I'm going off the top of my head. Pick a couple guys and give them proper, strong pushes. I'd rather see Jinder-level failures than a bunch of guys get half-hearted pushes.
WWE from the 90s/2000s had its failures who got pushed super hard but ultimately you remember the guys who were successful.

Also, more factions.
Factions have a history of pushing guys to the next level in WWE when they are invested in properly.
The Shield is a recent example.
The Wyatt Family was getting Bray over and would have been a success if they didn't keep jobbing Bray out.
More recently, Undisputed Era has been a huge part of how Adam Cole has got over to arguably being 'the guy' in NXT in recent years.

Things liike this half-hearted Zelina Vega stable idea (Austin Theory...???) don't work.
Personally I'd love to see WWE go all in on some of the big-and-brutal up-and-comers on NXT like Lumis, Thatcher, Kross, Dijakovic, Priest etc and create a sort of NXT invasion faction that terrorises the main rosters.
Or perhaps something led by Finn Balor with the storyarc of him going back to NXT, finding the best up-and-coming talent, and taking over the main roster.

I wouldn't push people based on crowd reactions. If you went by with what the crowd wanted a few years ago, you would have to have fired Roman Reigns cos the crowd wanted him gone. And that would just be a stupid decision.

The first thing I'd do is stop giving Brock Lesnar $398038503985 contracts, lmao. He's not worth it.
