What are your most 'surprisingly good' matches?

Arn Anderson & Paul Roma vs. Steve Austin and Lord Steven Regal. Clash of Champions XXIV. Austin's partner Brian Pillman was injured, so he was replaced by Regal but he did good as a last-minute substitute.

What’s crazy…even though the Survivor Series match was one sided, I think it was perfect. Sometimes you need matches like that.

Speaking of which, Lesnar and Cena at Summerslam 2014 was great IMO. It’s another squash but I think coming off Lesnar breaking the streak, it was exactly what it was supposed to be.

Yea, I fully agree. Both moments were really shocking and exciting when they happened. I was not expecting Goldberg to just come in and squash Brock so it was insane to witness and built up good hype for their Mania match for Brock to get revenge.

That Cena squash was amazing. Like Brock just comes in and destroys the champion, definitely had that final boss appeal for the longest time after that.

You can put a lot of Shane matches in here. I remember Miz vs Shane I enjoyed the hell out of, and I was not expecting that at all.

Shawn Michaels vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Lumberjack match for the I-C Gold. The New York fans were into it as Duggan laid down a beating on Shawn.
