Here's a look at Wednesday Addams in this teaser for Wednesday, the upcoming Netflix series from Tim Burton. The series stars Jenna Ortega in the title role, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, and more. Wednesday is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams' years as a student at Nevermore Academy.

Ricci did her thing as Wednesday hopefully Jenna Ortega does a fine job in her own right. The girls at the Nevermore Academy are in for a treat.​

The casting makes sense. Its a strong supporting cast too. Not always the biggest fan of origin stories. Not a big fan of current Burton but he only seems to be directing a couple of episodes and isn't involved in the writing, so I can live with that.

Two episodes in and I'm absolutely loving this show so far. Jenna Ortega is beyond perfect in the lead role. Dialogue is great, very sharp-witted and funny. Visually the series is on point too. Knew this show was for me right after the opening scene of the first episode which was brilliant.
