the first 30 minutes or so are pretty artsy and pretentious, so if that isn't your thing, it might take you a while before getting into the film. with that said, if you survive up until Kevin's birth, it turns into a pretty dope movie. Tilda gives one of the best performances of the year, and the kid who plays Kevin (the little fucker from City Island) is great.
the final couple of scenes are guaranteed to make you feel pretty uncomfortable. But yeah..dope shit. If you haven't seen it, I recommend a watch.
Sidenote - what's with all these movies using that annoying "a hey, a hey hey" buddy holly song? Big Fish, Mr. Nobody, etc. (N)
