Andre made the shortlist at least last year too, usually means unless the member base changed a lot he's got a much better shot this year

I'd say for Andre it's less about his prime and more what he's meant to the business. The legacy he's left behind.

My personal criteria to vote is biased on what I've actually watched but if I've done enough research on someone without footage they'll get a nomination. I threw in Danny Hodge, Frank Gotch, and Lou Thesz in my nominations this time, with Thesz being the only one I've seen any real footage of

I'd say for Andre it's less about his prime and more what he's meant to the business. The legacy he's left behind.

That's the same problem though, because outside of Mania 3 (or his overall feud with Hogan), The Princess Bride and the WWE putting on an André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, how many here can point out corners of André's importance to the business (or actually care about it)?
