ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING
UCW.png

No folks you are not seeing double. Ultimate Championship Wrestling is Back!

Michael Temple and Tom Ovenden, both billionaires, have bought the wrestling promotion from Turner and Trump as their graduation presents. Turner and Trump having lost all emphasis towards the wrestling have gladly sold off their majority stocks to the gentlemen from America and England. Turner and Trump have received some stock in exchange as Michael and Tom run the day to day business. Keeping the company Ultimate Championship Wrestling, which ironically was named after an E-fed they ran as kids, the two men have restored the roster to get everybody who is anybody. Much like the fed they ran as kids the roster is so big they have divided the roster into 4 brands each man agreeing to work with 2 of them to help production. Using the E-fed as the idea of the company the brand rosters were made and the accomplishments of the superstars added to their resumes. So as not to waste anymore time, the new owners have kept the same promotional posters, but expect new ones in the coming weeks. Tom and Michael are very excited about this venture and just now they have put up the rosters to their brands on the internet for all the world to see.

UCW Raw Monday April 09[SUP]th[/SUP] 2012: Live from Madison Square Garden

1. The UCW Raw Pyro opens the show. Followed by a Vignette of some of the greatest names in history talking about how excited they are to be here. JR and Piper introduce themselves as well as explaining how the show works.

2. The titantron activates to the Co-Owner of UCW Michael Temple. He looks extremely happy to be here as he picks up a mic.
  • He starts out by welcoming everyone and thanking them for tuning in. He says how Stephanie McMahon will be the General Manager but since it’s the first show he wanted to run it. He says he has some great talent on both the Raw and Smackdown rosters, both of which he explains he is in charge of. He mentions the UCW Champion when…
  • Brock Lesnar comes out to a mixed reaction. The Next Big Thing steps into the ring and gets in the Co-Owner’s face. Brock says he was never a part of UCW, but he is a part of it now and as the Big thing around here should be given the title.
  • Enter John Cena to a massive pop from the crowd, he comes out and thanks Michael for hiring him and allowing him to do what he loves. He turns to Brock, makes some bad roid jokes and states he’s the champ, he’s here and he’ll beat Brock to get the belt.
  • The Legend Killer Randy Orton’s music breaks up the intense staredown. The Legend Killer says he’s defeated legend and ended careers. He had many title reigns in both the WWE and UCW which makes him the best ever. He says there is no legend on the planet he hasn’t beaten.
  • Enter the music of the Icon Sting to the biggest pop of the night. Sting comes out and as Cena did thanks Michael for the opportunity to perform. He turns to Orton and tells him he hasn’t beaten him, and he is above a legend, he’s an Icon. He turns to Brock and tells Brock he has no respect for the business hence why he left it for UFC only to crawl back when he got hurt. Then he turns to Cena and applauds Cena for being a real man, but says Cena has never truly defeated Sting which is why he hopes Michael will give the Stinger the Championship which he held longer in one reign than all of them combined in UCW.
  • Michael enters the conversation before it turns to violence and announces tonight he will scout and see who truly deserves the championship. He says the Main Event will be huge as Sting will team with John Cena to face Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. The crowd goes nuts as Michael wishes everyone luck as Raw heads to commercial break.
3. Opening Match: Kane and the Big Show v. Robbie E and Robbie T
  • Robbie E starts out the match fist pumping in the Big Show’s face. Show hits Robbie E with the knockout punch.
  • Robbie T comes in looking to save the match but is caught by Kane who chokeslams Robbie T to the mat.
  • Winners via Pinfall at :12 Kane and the Big Show
4. Backstage segment with Chris Jericho
  • Jericho is asked why he didn’t show up at the start of the show. Jericho says he is the best in the world he doesn’t have too. He says even an assclown who came into money like the new owners know this and he is going to prove it tonight when he defeats his opponent.
  • The camera pans out revealing his opponent for the night, The Great Khali. Khali smirks at Jericho. Singh tells Jericho tonight the only thing he’ll be the best as is getting his ass handed to him by the Punjabi Giant.
5. Singles Match: Chris Jericho v. The Great Khali
  • Jericho starts off by delivering several hard knife edge chops that doesn’t affect Khali.
  • Khali takes a swing at Jericho after a few moments but is too slow Jericho ducks it. Jericho comes back and dropkicks Khali’s knee forcing him down.
  • Jericho connects with the Codebreaker but Khali kicks out at 2.
  • Jericho attempts a Lionsault but lands on his feet and tries to lock in the Walls but Khali kicks Jericho off.
  • As Jericho is waiting for Khali to get back to his feet Ranjin grabs Jericho’s foot, Jericho kicks Singh off but the distraction works as Khali nails Jericho with the brain chop and covers him for the victory.

Winner via Pinfall at 4:25: The Great Khali

  • JR and Piper talk about how embarrassing the loss must have felt to Jericho as Raw heads to Commercial.
6. Backstage segment with Mr. Anderson and Michael
  • Michael is on the phone with Tom asking him how the show is looking as he is interrupted by the Asshole himself.
  • Anderson makes his case as to why he should be UCW Champion and explains that when he doesn’t get his way he can be a major asshole.
  • Michael tells Mr. Anderson he never really liked him to a pop from the crowd but says he is willing to even give assholes a shot at the Championship. He says he will consider him if he can beat a former UCW World Champion tonight, Pope D’Angelo Dinero.
7. Triple Threat Match: The Miz v. Carlito v. Eddie Guerrero
  • Miz and Guerrero are looking to make their claim towards the UCW Championship, but it is the Miz and Carlito who team up on Guerrero to start the match.
  • Once Guerrero is out of the way Miz goes to attempt the Skull Crushing Finale but Carlito reverses it into a russian leg sweep.
  • Guerrero comes back in after Carlito gets several close calls against the Miz. Guerrero is hot hitting the three amigos on Carlito but the count is broken up by the Miz.
  • The Miz dominates Guerrero with his running clothesline in the corner as well as the reality check but Guerrero will not go down. The Miz attempts to go for the SCF again but Guerrero cheats and low blows the Miz.
  • Guerrero goes for the cover but Carlito breaks it up. Guerrero fights him off and goes for a suplex but it is countered into the backstabber from Carlito. Carlito goes for the cover and gets it.

Winner via Pinfall at 7:43 Carlito

  • JR and Piper recap the match saying how good it was. Talk about how having Carlito as UCW Champion would be cool. As Raw heads to commercial.
8. Singles Match: Mr. Anderson v. D’Angelo Dinero
  • The match starts out with an elbow to collar tie up between the two. After splitting moves no man appears to have the edge.
  • The match spills to the outside of the ring as Anderson uses the barricade to wear down Dinero. Anderson sends Dinero into the steel steps before getting him back into the ring for a 2 count.
  • Anderson applies a sleeper hold, but Dinero fights out of it and connects with several shots before dropping Anderson to the mat with a spinebuster. Dinero isn’t able to capitalize right away and only gets a two count.
  • Dinero unleashes his boxing background on Anderson. Anderson manages to poke Dinero’s eyes before lifting him up intending to go for the Green Bay Plunge but Dinero reverses it sliding off only to hit Anderson with a DDT.
  • Dinero sets Anderson up in the corner looking to go for the D’Angelo Dinero Express, but Anderson moves out of the way. Hurting Dinero is easy prey for the Mic Check. Anderson goes for the pinfall and gets the win.

Winner via Pinfall at 8:56 Mr. Anderson

  • JR and Piper talk about how great the match was and how Anderson outsmarted Dinero and that was the difference. Piper states he’d love having an asshole as World Champion.
9. Backstage Segment between Michael and the locker room that isn’t scheduled for the night.
  • Michael tells everyone they will all get their opportunities and he is still considering all of them for the Championship.
  • Jericho enters the room disgusted by the events that happened earlier and demands the title to Jericho Michael is not an assclown.
  • Michael says he will not give Jericho the championship, at least not tonight, and says he’ll give Jericho an opportunity to impress him again next week in a rematch against Khali.
10. Main Event Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton v. Sting and John Cena
  • Orton and Cena start out the match with an elbow to collar tie up. Cena starts the match on fire but a cheap shot from Orton changes everything.
  • Orton tags in Lesnar who takes Cena into the corner wearing him down with big body shots. Lesnar and Orton tag in and out wearing Cena down.
  • The crowd is behind Cena and the Stinger as they try to help Cena get to his corner. Cena is able to move out of the way of a knee drop from Orton and gets the tag. Sting comes in and cleans house.
  • Sting attempts to hit Lesnar with the Scorpion Death Drop but Orton saves him dropping Sting to the mat with an RKO. Orton only gets a two count.
  • Cena comes back into the ring and fights off both Lesnar and Orton. Cena lifts Orton onto his shoulders looking for the FU but Lesnar returns the favor from earlier by saving Orton and hitting Cena with an F5.
  • As Orton goes to cover Cena, Brock lifts Orton up and hits him with the F5. The crowd boos Lesnar who leaves the ring clearly making his statement.
  • Orton gets back to his feet as Sting gets into the ring. Sting grabs Orton from behind and hits the Scorpion Death Drop for the win.

Winners via Pinfall: Sting and John Cena

  • Sting has no time to celebrate as Lesnar has returned and hits an F5 on Sting. Lesnar calls for a mic and tells Michael to award him the Championship.
  • Michael comes out to the ring and tells Lesnar he won’t be rewarding a jerk and coward like Lesnar the Championship.
  • Lesnar unhappy with that decision lifts Michael up into the air and connects with an F5 on the Co-Owner of UCW. Lesnar is shown standing tall as Raw goes off the air.

OOC:

Breaking News from the Owners of Ultimate Championship Wrestling:

Owners Tom Ovenden and Michael Temple have at last gotten out the new banners for their marquee brands now available on the homepage for your viewing pleasure.

And from the desk of Michael Temple we have learned the set up of the PPV system here in UCW let us take it to Mr. Temple himself in an interview from earlier where he announced how things would proceed.

Temple: Tom and I as Owner's have agreed, with the roster so massive we cannot fit everyone onto a card once a month. Therefore Tom and I have agreed that my brands and his brands will be seperate and UCW will present two pay per views a month at 25.00 dollars each. Now you get two shows for what was once the price of one. I'm allowing Tom, as his shows will have the first PPV to display the schedule. Expect it after Thunder airs sometime tomorrow or Saturday.

UCW.com is very excited about this news and will update you as soon as the PPV schedule goes live. From UCW.Com this is Julian Harris Harry Reporting.

UCW Friday Night Smackdown: April 13, 2012: From San Antonio Texas
Attendance: 23,532

1. Pyros and Opening Introductions: Michael Cole and Jerry The King Lawler

The last debut is ready to begin as Michael’s second show comes to life with the legendary Smackdown set sans fist. The crowd is going absolutely bonkers as arguably the best show in UCW history comes to life. Michael Cole and Jerry “The King†Lawler welcome us and introduce us to how UCW works for those who haven’t tuned in just yet.

2. Opening Segment: Shane McMahon, James Storm, CM Punk, and Edge discuss the World Championship.

Smackdown opens up with “Here Comes the Money†as the General Manager of Smackdown is introduced as Shane McMahon. Cole and King tell the UCW Universe McMahon’s history with the Smackdown brand.

Shane welcomes everyone to the show. Apologizes for Michael who was not able to be here tonight due to recuperating at home from the events on Raw, but says Michael has left his A brand in the most capable of hands. He announces how two championships will be decided tonight, The Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Championship. Shane announces Smackdown will be the best of the best and goes to announce the world title match.

James Storm comes out to a standing ovation from the crowd. Drinking his beer before getting in the ring and talking to Shane. Storm mentions how he was the first champion in UCW Smackdown history and held the title for nearly 8 months. Storm retired because he felt he couldn’t do anymore, but has come back to win the belt one more time. He is about to say his catchphrase when.

The Rated R Superstar Edge comes out to the ring to a chorus of cheers, but as soon as he takes the mic it is clear he is all heel. Edge talks down Storm by telling him that not only did Edge beat Storm’s record as champion, but held the record for the longest title reign in the history of UCW. He says the belt should be his because unlike Storm he can make a coherent sentence and doesn’t appear to work drunk. Edge slams Shane saying that if Shane doesn’t give him a title shot tonight he’s going to be like his dad, unemployed.

Lastly the music of CM Punk hits ending the tirade of Edge and the fans are happy to see the second city savior. Punk from the entrance ramp reminds both men that while both of them retired, Punk carried on and held the belt several times, leaving the company with the championship belt having never been defeated. Therefore Punk should theoretically already be Champion. Punk mentions how he is straight edge unlike Storm and never complains as it is all Edge can do. Punk tells Shane to make the right decision here and put him in the match.

Shane decides that he will make a monster main event for the first ever Smackdown. The World Heavyweight Championship will be decided in a Triple Threat match between Storm, Punk, and Edge. The three greatest Champions in the history of UCW will do battle Cole and King explain as we head to break.

3. Ultimate Warrior backstage interview

The Ultimate Warrior is announced as one of the two men competing for the Intercontinental Championship tonight. He is asked about his thoughts.

Lesnar falls off of Cena’s shoulders and lands funny, as Cena is still on his feet. Not for long however as Orton brings Cena down with an RKO.

Instead of going for the cover however, knowing taking out Lesnar will help him with the boss, Orton begins stalking Lesnar looking to kick his skull in. Orton rushes but Lesnar was playing possum, connecting with a devastating F5 in the center of the ring. Unable to make it in time Michael just watches.

Winner of the match: Brock Lesnar (Randy Orton has been eliminated from Title contention)

UCW.com exclusive:

This is Trend Okayama reporting as Tom Ovenden has some majors announcements, concerning UCW talent, overseas ventures and UCW.com!

Tom Ovenden: Yet another round of fantastic news to reveal to all the UCW Universe, firstly, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin were fired from UCW yesterday after a run of poor performances at House Shows and their general attitude towards working in UCW however I have managed to secure the three news signees who will be joining UCW on the road over the next two months, Chris Hero and his arch-rival Eddie Kingston shall be joining the ranks along with a man trained by many Japanese Greats, A-Train, however he will becoming under the name Lord Tensai as he embraced the Japanese Culture!

Speaking of Japanese culture, UCW is proud to announce, especially on my side of the business, we are heading over to Japan in three weeks time for a series of shows but also WCW and TNA will present UCW Bound For Glory live from the Toyko Dome which will a huge moment for myself as some of the most epic battles in the history of Japanese Pro Wrestling happened at that arena.

And the final piece of good news I have to bring is regarding our overseas projects and working with other companies, we are pleased to announce that Ring Ka King will become a weekly show over there and we're currently working on sending out a roster there, India is a great nation and they love their pro-wrestling and what a better way to get it off the ground than allowing their program to continue underneath the UCW banner. Also we are close to securing a deal with Asistencia Asesoría y Administración aka AAA in Mexico, I shall be travelling out to Mexico soon after Smackdown to finalize the deal which will see Mexican talent competing within UCW!

Attendance: 23,689

Pyros and Introductions: Michael Cole and Jerry the King Lawler

  • [*=center]UCW wraps up its tour of the UK and the Wembley crowd is going nuts. Michael Cole and King welcome us and remind us of the New World Heavyweight Champion James Storm. Says Michael will open tonight’s Smackdown and how we will see number one contender’s to the tag titles, the intercontinental Champion in action as well as a tournament for a yet undisclosed championship. He then mentions James Storm to a huge pop from the crowd, and asks him to come out.

[*=center]James Storm comes out to his single music, dressed in jeans and a tank top, wearing a cowboy hat, beer in one hand the World Heavyweight Championship in the other. He comes into the ring all smiles and shakes the bosses hand.

He then sucks up to the English crowd, saying how he might be a yank but the english sure know how to treat a man. Storm says he is going to be a fighting champion and how he loves to fight.

[*=center]This comment brings out the rated R superstar Edge who does not look very happy. The crowd gives him major heat as he comes out in his jeans and leather jacket.

[*=center]Edge tells Michael and Storm what happened last week proved nothing, because Edge wasn’t pinned. Edge says as long as Storm doesn’t beat him one two three in the center of the ring no one will buy him as the greatest champion ever, that title will always belong to Edge. Edge says if it were one on one there is no way Storm would walk out the winner.

[*=center]Storm smiles and tells Edge he’s nothing but a sore loser and a sissy. Storm says he’d rather take on a real wrestler like Chris Benoit or Kurt Angle, but if it will get Edge off his back and out of the picture he’ll gladly face him with Michael’s permission.

[*=center]Michael smiles as the crowd chants “let them fight.†Michael states Edge will get his rematch for the World Title, just not tonight. For he needs a good headlining match for his Pay Per View, Judgment Day. Michael says at Judgment Day, it will be Edge against the World Champion James Storm.

[*=center]Edge and Storm are happy about this, but Michael says if they want to fight right now they will. He says that in tonight’s main event, Edge and Storm will each pick a partner and compete tonight in a tag team match. With this announcement and some hyping from Cole and King, Smackdown goes to commercial break.

[*=center]Grisham asks Kofi his thoughts on facing Chris Benoit tonight.

[*=center]Kofi says Benoit is intense, and how it will be an honor to wrestle such a great opponent. Says even though Benoit is dangerous in the ring, it will be trouble in paradise for Benoit tonight.

  • [*=center]The Animal starts out by explaining his actions last week. He says he is done with wrestling, he is retired. The only reason he did what he had too last week was because he needed to help out his client. He explains how he sees a lot of himself in Mason Ryan and won’t stop until Mason Ryan is a champion.

[*=center]Mason Ryan takes the mic and the crowd gives him serious heat. Ryan says last week was a fluke and he isn’t going to let a legend like Dave Batista down. He says he doesn’t need Dave Batista to win his matches for him, and he is the new Animal in UCW. He says whoever his opponent is next week he is going to rip them apart.

[*=center]Batista takes back the mic and says he believes Ryan, and says he is sorry he had to interfere in Ryan’s match and knows he won’t have to do it again. He says Raven is a joke and jokes won’t be a problem anymore.

[*=center]The crowd goes nuts as the lights in the arena go out and come back on. Raven is in the ring with a steel chair. Ryan rushes Raven but gets a steel chair to his head for his troubles. Batista runs out of the ring and up the ramp as fast as he can.

[*=center]Raven picks up Ryan’s mic and says he wants Batista to face his judgment day in a match.

[*=center]Batista tells Raven flat out no! He is done wrestling and he certainly won’t come out of retirement for a joke like him.
