I'm excited I'm going to see Rampage and Edgar :).
Pride was the best MMA organization.

Rampage missed weight by 5 pounds and has to give up 20% of his purse

:verysad: guys missing weight is a pet peeve of mine, so it's disappointing to see one of my all time favorites pulling such shenanigans

it almost makes me think the rumors of him retiring are true. Writing on the wall perhaps

I'm not an Edgar guy though. I picked him to win, but I'm hoping Beno takes him

edit: and yes, Pride shit all over the UFC

I don't know if I'll be back in time for the PPV to start, but I'll be in the discussion thread.

This first fight should be exciting. I expect Mizugaki will win

Mostly looking forward to Gomi's fight out of the prelims.. he was the best LW in the world once upon a time back in his Pride days, but he's been on in a slump. Really needs to bounce back

I only know of Mizugaki from his fights with Miguel Torres, and don't know much of this other guy, plus I'm giving a big advantage to all Japanese fighters in this card. They are all about pride/heart/ and shit like that

he has a big reach advantage, but this other cat is throwing a lot of kicks which can help negate that

shit, that would have been an impressive sub

Thought he'd roll into that omoplata to be honest, he looked like he had it.
Ads after the first round really?

Stand up was back and forth, and while Mizugaki got the takedown, it was Cariaso with the sub attempts from the bottom and Mizugaki didn't do much to try and improve his position

I might have given that round to Cariaso, but tough to score.

Cariso seemed more in control on the ground with how he locked him into his guard at the end.
__________

Damn that was a stiff head kick.
