TUF China Finale's new eight-bout lineup set, gets new start time
MACAU – With the last-minute loss of a proposed welterweight bout between Zak Cummings and Albert Mina, Saturday’s TUF China Finale event now sits at eight bouts, and the start time has been pushed slightly back.
MMAjunkie today confirmed with UFC officials that the night’s four-fight preliminary card will start at 6:20 a.m. ET (7:20 p.m. CST local time), with the four-fight main card commencing at 8 a.m. ET local time.
Featuring a welterweight headliner between Dong Hyun Kim and John Hathaway, as well as the welterweight tournament final from the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter: China,†TUF Chine Finale takes place at The Venetian Macao’s CotaiArena in Macau. The eight-bout lineup streams on UFC Fight Pass.
As MMAjunkie previously reported, the Cummings vs. Mina was scratched just before Friday’s official weigh-in ceremony after Cummings showed up eight pounds heavy and Mina, at the behest of his coaches, declined to accept a catchweight offer.
