I love The King of Rock theme, but something in me can't go against "The Final Countdown" I think it's possibly one of the most recognizable songs, and to have it as your theme is simply outstanding. If he started to use this in the WWE, I would mark the hell out.

Final Countdown. No competition. The other 2 themes absolutely suck. The main themes from each of the other two migth go differently. "Are you ready?" and "Real American" are iconic theme songs. These 2 suck.

ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!

Weez how does Hendrix suck? I went with Hogan but it was tough. I have seen Danielson come out to Final Countdown and there is little like it.

I agree Scott, I too have been there, and it is mind blowing! But have to go with Hogan's here, personally I think it should win the whole thing.

I don't count songs from ROH or ECW that were songs made in no way related to the purpose they were used for and used without consent of the artist. Simply the Final Countdown while a great song which the world over loves it does not scream wrestling in anyway shape or form. Which is why I also ultimately chose DX

Don't understand that argument, there are plenty of examples of WWE and WCW using songs that have already been released, before they are used for wrestling. Also if you have been in the arena when BD came out to that theme it is pretty awesome, and I think the way the song builds to the main verse is just right for wrestler making his entrance, and the crowd and him getting pumped up for the match.

But in my opinion it's not a wrestling theme song is just a good song that wrestling stole. When I hear the song I dont associate it with BD and usually when i hear voodoo child I don't associate it with hogan they aren't wrestling themes they are just good songs.

I see what you are saying, and this is maybe why as rule I like the old school wrestling themes more, but the thing is Voodoo Child just became such a big part of the Hollywood Hogan character drawing heat, and I guess because it a older song now, many people might think of it as Hogan's entrance theme.

Oh I agree Voodoo child I actually do think of Hogan quite a bit I think it's cause he used it so long or some type of variation to it. But I try to stick with that rule. Gotta admit that one is hard. Personally you put all of Hogans themes against each other and I'd pick Real American not for just that reason but it's just a good song sometimes I find it hard to believe it was written for that purpose and for Hogan.

Although the poll is closed, consider this a vote for Hogan's theme.... crushes the other two. DX's "Are you ready" theme is far superior to this version...

I kinda agree with McHenry and Keith here a little. I can understand why songs written for wrestlers can be more effective than mainstream songs stolen for themes. But to go along with Keith it is really in the execution. Hogan and Danielson are two great examples of guys who turned popular songs into themes that totally worked for them. Edge is another big example of this. Plus also to agree ECW and ROH did it for pretty much every guy.
