Toonami returns May 26 on Adult Swim

The classic block is back and being aired by [adult swim]. The show will return on May 26, 2012. Exactly which shows will be aired during the block has yet to be announced. [adult swim] has been hinting towards this return for weeks now, even using rapped Richie Branson's song "Bringing Toonami Back," in various segments.

Damn it. I wanted to post this lol. I marked when I saw Tom come across my tv and say Toonami was coming back.

If you didn't know, they brought it back for one day and DBZ got a great rating

LOL, yeah, I was still attending school when it happened (on April Fools Day), but I fell asleep during Gundam Wing, so I was pissed when I missed the rest of it. I'm so excited for this though.

Holy shit. Where'd you hear this? Those first three are some of my favorite animes. It would be pretty sweet if they brought back Yu Yu Hakusho back too.

Wish Ronin Warriors and Sailor Moon were brought back too. I loved the DBZ, Gundam Wing, Tenchi, Moon, and Ronin block as a kid. It's what I grew up on in the afternoon? I also got to see the ending of Moon on tv lol

I would pay for an all Toonami station lol. Just change Cartoon network west into it, Dish.

Apparently the new schedule has been posted by [adult swim], but I still don't believe it to be real.

12:00 a.m. – Bleach
12:30 a.m. – Deadman Wonderland
01:00 a.m. – Casshern Sins
01:30 a.m. – Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
02:00 a.m. – Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
02:30 a.m. – Cowboy Bebop

To me, that's a pretty bad schedule, considering it's taking half of the shows they've had on AS and putting them at different times. However, the block is supposed to be from 12-6, so we'll see what comes on after Bebop, if this is even real.

And hell, I'd love to have the classic schedule back. I've been watching Tenchi for 3 days now and it's pretty fucking awesome.

I don't care about this because Toonamiaftermath.com has a better schedule and is on every day, 24/7. One night a week doesn't interest me when I can watch this shit anytime I want.
